INTERNATIONAL TREATIES AS WELL AS THE LAW IN EACH NATION IN THE WORLD, DEFINE “ASYLUM” AS OFFERING THOSE WHO ARE FLEEING THEIR HOME COUNTRIES FOR ETHNIC, RELIGIOUS, OR POLITICAL PERSECUTION,
1)
TEMPORARY RESIDENCE IN THE CLOSEST NEIGHBORING NATION OFFERING THEM ENTRANCE.
Like it our not, nowhere in that definition does it say countries are obligated to accept people looking for economic advantage or benefits.
2)
Nowhere in it is any requirement that borders be open.
It has been estimated that the percentage of people crossing the US Border with Mexico qualifying for Asylum under International and US Law, is about 7-10%.
3)
I would guess that there may be more that might qualify as they are from Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua and fleeing for regimes that arrest people for dissent.
But the US is not following up to find who really qualifies or not.
4)
SO, IF ONLY 7-10% QUALIFY FOR ASYLUM, WHAT SHOULD BE DONE WITH ALL THE OTHERS?
Of course, what will Congress do? The Democrats talk about Compassion, but their Compassion seems to end with their words.
5)
Unless of course they think allowing in criminals, terrorists, and lots of people to be treated as slaves is compassion."

One short report on Climate from Euronews. Read this carefully and see where the problem in logic is.
1)
'THIS WAS THE MOST WARM YEAR IN EUROPE ON RECORD, INCREASING THE CONCERN BY EXPERTS ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE.'
'THE LAST TIME THE WEATHER WAS THIS WARM WAS 1997'
2)
So, what are they saying? On one hand they are claiming that the climate is warming all the time, yet then they admit that in 25 years, the climate has become no warmer?

1)
First, he accused all his opponents of wanting dictatorship - a lie.
Second, he promised to punish all of them. To punish any dissent from what he does or says.
2)
Lula is the pot calling the kettle black (as the old English saying goes, and then he exposes his intent to become a Stalinist-type despot.
Will Brazil stay a democracy? Or is it the next, bigger, Venezuela???

Let’s get some things straight.
A. There is no law, no requirement that anyone in Government release tax returns.
1)
It is a custom that began many years ago for Presidential Candidates, but it is not law, though the media implies it is.
B. Federal Law considers tax returns a private matter between the IRS and the Taxpayer.
2)
It is illegal to release tax returns to the public without the permission of the taxpayer. Congress and Joe Biden are NOT above the law. To release Trump's tax returns and publish them is a violation of Trump’s rights.
But this all does bring up some interesting thoughts.

חג חנוכה שמח
We are taught these days that Hanukah is about freedom. We picture the Maccabees as freedom fighters fighting against the power of an empire that has been subjugating them.
1)
We picture them to be like the partisans in the forests of Europe resisting the Nazis, or the liberation movements of the third world throwing off the burden of imperialism.
2)
But there are two parts of the story that are generally ignored, two parts that we do not teach our children and maybe do not want to think about at all.
You see, the rebellion of the Maccabees was not just against an occupying army or an imperialistic power.
3)
"In September, three Massachusetts cops were accused in an internal affairs report of having an “inappropriate relationship” with a 23-year-old pregnant woman. Sandra Birchmore, who was 15 when the alleged sexual abuse began, killed herself last year.
2)
Now Birchmore’s estate has filed a lawsuit against the Stoughton cops, accusing them “of a near decade-long scheme of grooming and repeated sexual assaults [of Birchmore] from a young age.”

1)
THIS IS A CULMINATION OF THE LIE THAT THE WEST HAS PUSHED SINCE 1967, and the response from Israel needs to be clear and strong.
A. EXTEND ISRAELI CIVILIAN LAW TO AREA C IMMEDIATELY.
2)
B. CLEARLY STATE THE LEGAL CASE FOR ISRAELI SOVEREIGNTY FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA, WHICH HAPPENS TO BE THE TRUTH.
C. PURSUE SOLUTIONS TO SOLVE REMAINING NON-TERRITORIAL PROBLEMS OF THE PALESTINIAN SITUATION. (Too be explained at another time).
