Sorry, my man, no offense, but instant coffee and vapes are to ground coffee and real cigarettes like magazine porn is to great sex: Not even an imitation, just another realm entirely.
These documents have been leaked (deliberately?) by the Ukraine Armed Forces, and seem to be genuine. A huge number of Ukraine eyeballs have been on them via Telegram channels — but no one has seriously disputed their authenticity.
What they reveal is horrifying.
1/8
According to these documents, the Ukraine Armed Forces have lost 191,000 men between killed in action and wounded in action. Assuming a 3 to 1 ratio, that would mean 50,000 men have died, and 140,000 are wounded seriously enough to be incapacitated either to fight or to work.
2/
The missing in action are NOT being accounted for. These MIA could be killed in action, prisoners of war held by the Russians, or deserters. It is estimated that they are 50% of that 191,000 number. That is about 95,000 men who are unaccounted for.

Re. my Chilean history thread: So many people refuse to accept my account that the CIA had no involvement in the 1973 coup whatsoever that I’m going to have to make this mini thread explaining why.
It centers on the killing of General René Schneider in 1970.

There was a right wing group called Patria y Libertad, who were just a bunch of crazies. Hard-core right wing youths who hated everyone left of Attila the Hun.
They were definitely financed by CIA. And somehow, they got the idea to kidnap General Schneider.

He was the commander-in-chief of the Chilean Armed Forces, and a man who was extremely well-respected throughout Chilean society, especially in the military.
After the 1970 election, there were calls to ignore the democratic process and prevent Allende from taking power.
3/
When Salvador Allende won the election of 1970 to become President of Chile, he won it with a plurality—the center and right-wing candidates got a combined 63% of the vote.
Allende got only 37% of the vote in 1970.
1/
Allende immediately embarked on a radical economic transformation of Chile, starting with the nationalization of the big copper mines, which natch pissed off the Americans.
But the Nixon Admin was so mired in winding down Vietnam that it didn't pay much attention to Chile.
2/
Allende nationalized most of the big industries in Chile using “resquicios legales”—legal subterfuges.
He also fomented Leftist paramilitary groups, namely the MIR (Movimiento de Izquierda Revolucionaria) and the GAP (Grupo de Amigos Personales).
