Fluoride: The evil secret history they don’t want you to know
Fluoride

You’ve heard that word before

“It’s great for your teeth!”

Your dentist talks about it all the time

But what the hell is it exactly?
Fluoride is a chemical compound made from the element fluorine

They combine it with other elements like sodium and calcium

Sodium fluoride is what’s added to:

Tap Water
Table Salt
Toothpaste
Bottled Water
Recently

They’ve created new fluorine based compounds known as PFAS

These “forever chemicals” are found in:

Frying Pans (PFOA)
Cosmetics
Clothing (water resistant coats)
Pizza boxes
What they’ve made everyone believe is that fluoride-based chemicals are harmless

That they’re in such small amounts

They can’t POSSIBLY negatively affect your health

But that’s simply NOT true
First off,

Fluoride is a known neurotoxin

It lowers IQ in children

And is probably doing the same in adults…

PFAS accumulate in your liver and kidneys

They destroy mitochondria and cause oxidative damage

This ruins your immune system and puts you at risk for things like cancer

These fluoride-based forever chemicals are just another reason

Why infertility continues to rise

So why exactly are they putting fluoride in your toothpaste & water?

Even today with all of this data?

Because they say it helps remineralize your tooth enamel

Which is the visible white layer you see when you smile
Fluoride is said to create what’s called fluorapatite

They claim it makes your enamel more resistant to acidity from bacteria in your mouth

And prevents cavities

But is the risk worth the benefits?

This is where things get sketch
50 years ago

Fluoride was seen as a cumbersome poison

How did this poison come into being?

In the 1930s

ALCOA was the pioneer of aluminum manufacturing

But they needed a VERY strong acid to do so
They used Hydrofluoric Acid

Which contained fluorine and was extremely powerful

So potent that its fumes would burn through the lungs on anyone working in its vicinity
In 1931

Three teams of independent scientists headed by Trendley Dean along with local dentists

Conclude that the fluoride in the water supply stained tooth enamel

As Fluoride started to gather bad press

More and more workers at ALCOA got sick

The company needed some defense against the incoming lawsuits

And what they did next was genius
In comes the Mellon Institute

A scientific research group paid for by the aluminum giants

The same people who legitimized asbestos

A known carcinogen that kills hundreds of thousands of people every year
In 1935

Francis Frary, the director of research at ALCOA, hired Gerald Cox

He “recommended” him to find how beneficial fluoride was to keep teeth healthy

And so the research began
4 years later

By the stroke of “luck”

Gerald Cox published his first paper demonstrating how fluoride protected teeth enamel from cavities…
Fluoride went from a manufacturing poison to “good for your health” overnight

Now

If you’re like me

At this point you must be saying: “ This sounds really sketchy”

Well, that’s correct

It is
For decades

Not much has changed

And many countries still choose to fluoridate the public drinking water
For those of you wondering…

Countries that fluoridate their water:

United States
Canada
Australia
Ireland
New Zealand
United Kingdom
some countries in Western Europe, such as Spain and Germany

Countries that do not fluoridate their water:
Japan
Sweden
Norway
Denmark
Many scientists across the world have tried to sound the alarm on the dangers of water fluoridation

In 2018

Michel Goldberg called Fluoride “a double edged sword” and tried to warn doctors, dentists and pediatricians about its dangers

Something I find odd is how babies are even prescribed nursery water

Which is filtered fluoridated water

Why does a baby need to protect teeth it's going to lose?
Fluoride’s danger comes from the dose

The belief is that a little bit is ok

That the amounts you get in tap water is harmless

But no one can really tell you how much you’re getting per day
I choose to avoid Fluoride in my life because of its history & negligible benefits to oral health

Luckily

There are ways for you to avoid it
Some of you might be wondering: “Ok, but how can I make sure to still protect my teeth if I avoid fluoride?”

Here are a few alternatives to fluoride to remineralize your teeth:

Xylitol
Probiotics
Calcium hydroxyapatite
Casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate (CPP-ACP)
You also want to make sure to keep your mouth less acidic

Do that by:

Avoiding processed foods, especially refined sugars
Eat more fruits, meat, seafood, vegetables
Aloe vera juice mouthwash
Drinking more water
Oil Pulling
I STRONGLY recommend you filter your tap water or drink spring water (some may still have super low levels of fluoride)

Either a distiller/reverse osmosis system is your best bet from clearing your water from fluoride based chemicals

Remineralize with sodium/potassium/magnesium

What drags most people down health wise aren’t medical problems

They’re lifestyle problems

Yet when you describe an energy problem, a sleep problem or stress or anxiety problem to a doctor

They’ll approach it from a medical lens
The way you define what you're struggling with colors the type of solution that's on the table

Most doctors aren't interested, or don't have the time, to explore WHY a particular problem is happening

What they're trained to do is to identify and neutralize symptoms
If you have had an accident and broke your arm...

Or you have a genetic issue creating an irregular heart beat

Then by all means, a medical lens is exactly what you need

Stress used to rule my life

From morning to night I worried about my health, my future, my past and everything in between

I was out of control

Eventually, I got sick and hit a brick wall

That experience changed me forever
