The plants ^^ pictured are in Bretagne France but they are plants we have in NZ too Toi-Toi on the right… not sure what kind of palm this is but looks super familiar.

The drought has well and truly broken here in Bretagne and al the reservoirs are now being filled. We have been blessed here with warmth, water and wind.
New life trembling in the presence of the breath of the spirit. Whilst it is the middle of Winter, it is spring warm here.

The idea of lifting of TPLF’s terrorist designation being expected/discussed during or since Pretoria is irrelevant.

Either lifting is in the agreement or it isn’t.

And if it is, it is likely to be conditional on DDR having been completed.
Speculation, commentary or interpretation of meaning of peace agreements ought to be referenced back to the text. Outside of that it becomes magical thinking. As the only way the Agmnt can be added to or clarified is by agreement of both parties.
The TPLF has a history of floating nonsensical ideas through proxies to manipulate narratives.

I suspect this piece is an example of this not a “testing of the wind” exercise the the Govt. as some are saying it is.

I can't see all the show ponies in the Republican House delegation coming together to actually appoint a speaker any time soon.

Not while there is show ponying to do. Nor can I see McCarthy getting appointed.
The people to watch are Cheney and Pelosi. The only quick ways to get a speaker are:
a) for a small number of disgruntled non MAGA GOP reps to change sides and appoint Pelosi.
or
b) for a very large number of Democrats to appoint Cheney as speaker with Pelosi in a coalition.
Neither are remotely likely.... and won't become possible until some kites get flown to test the winds.
