speaking of useless #pokemon trivia, here's a graph comparing base stat totals to base exp yield
The high outliers are the chansey and audino lines (who are big ol' bundles of EXP), and waaay to the top right is the giant space hand you fight at the end of Sword and Shield.
Otherwise, it seems to be mostly based on the EV yield of the pokemon (roughly based on what evolution stage the pokemon is). BUT there are two slopes/lines for pokemon with 3 EVs and I can't figure out why.
most of the outliers can be explained by being alternate forms that come with a stat boost (but yield the same exp as the base form); Slaking has high stats but can only act every other turn; the Chansey line and Audino are meant to be exp treasure troves I think?
Poochyena, Zigzagoon, and Wurmple are early mons in Ruby/Sapphire so they probably have it set a certain way. The Archen line has a similar thing to Slaking where their ability is a hindrance to their good stats. The last remaining one is Flittle which... I don't know
I still have no idea why there are the two ratios used for , but the ~2.22 ratio seems to not be used past Gen VII, with one exception...
...Wooloo.
WAIT I THINK I FIGURED IT OUT
All the Pokemon who who have the ~2 ratio are available in Scarlet/Violet. I think gamefreak decided to change the ratio in Gen 8 for the new pokemon, and applied that change to all the pokemon retroactively in Gen 9!
Yup... the only pokemon not in the Paldea dex are legendaries / starters that we know are encoded in the game data. I expect as mons are added in DLC and such, we'll get more mons with the 2 ratio.
There are, however, a couple of exceptions to the rule: Pokemon that are bumped to a different exp bracket based on their EV yield.
The Hisui mons aren't obtainable right now in SV, and I think these values are probably placeholders that'll be changed when Pokemon Home support comes around. A lot of the 3EV mons I can wager are there because they're legendary-ish or special in some way, but the rest.. no idea
Why do Aurorus and Clawitzer give trash exp when their counterparts don't? Does Wooloo give so much exp so you can farm off the battles with Hop in SwSh?

i'm a poké-poser i've only played the switch games and a bootleg pokemon gold from malaysia
the bootleg was made before the games were translated to english, so the translation was shoddy and all the pokemon names were abbreviated to five characters. my starter CHIKO evolved into BEIRI and finally MEGAN
Each number is described as its prime factorization, and prime numbers are built as the previous number + a swash for 1
Different notation with the swash looping down that i feel looks more natural calligraphically. Few different variations trying to figure out what looks good
very cool and good that I'm trying to find sources for a technical argument and everytime I google now it just pulls up a bunch of articles like "Should You Use X? X is a feature implemented. X is used by some companies. In conclusion, you may or not want to use X."
The google engineers are trying to fix this but every time they look up "how to fix SEO Spam" they get articles like "should I fix SEO Spam? Spam is a popular dish in Hawaii. Seo Yuzuki is a character in the anime Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun"
I miss the stackoverflow days where you could get a decent answer in a garbage community, now you just get garbage answers
