Took an @IndiGo6E flight on 3rd Jan from Riyadh to Surat via Delhi. My bags were tagged for STV (Surat) and I did think that I will receive my bags at the Surat airport, but - as I found out later - according to the laws, I personally have to custom clear it in Delhi ......
and then re-check-in there for Surat.
I had 7 hours layover in Delhi. Because of my misunderstanding, I left the landing terminal T3 and headed out without taking my luggage. After some 1:30 hour, I receive a phone call from @IndiGo6E personnel explaining the situation.....
and asking me to come back and pick up my luggage. After another 1:30 hour, I go back to collect my 2 bags.
Upon my reaching, he comes out and gets me inside the terminal and then points me to a completely un-attended area where several bags were parked.
I go there to look for my bags, but only find 1 bag there. I then go with him around the entire belts area to look for the missing bag, he makes a few phone calls and then nearly 1 hour later advices me to register a lost luggage complaint and leave.....
as he's unable to locate the luggage. I file the complaints with him and leave for T1 with only 1 piece of luggage.
2 days on, Indigo locates bag with another customer from Jhansi, who had my luggage. @IndiGo6E simply asks this person to return my luggage and leaves the call.
This person is now saying he has busy schedule and cannot guarantee the safety of my luggage in the transport. Indigo, despite me connecting their 'quite difficult to connect' call-centre a few times cannot provide me....
