I know a lot of eyes are focused on Arizona and Maricopa County for their shenanigans, but we have problems in GA as well.
I live in Cobb County, GA.
Let me tell you what is happening here.
1/
In 2020, our County Board of Commissioners went Blue. That means 3 Dems and 2 GOP members.
In 2021-2022, our GOP Legislature drew new maps based on the census data for the entire state.
New Congressional Districts, State Legislature districts, School Board districts and...
2/
County Commissioner districts.
Because the State Legislature made one of the Cobb County Commissioner Districts more of a 'swing' district, our current county chair, a Democrat named Lisa Cupid, chose to disregard the maps drawn by the GA Legislature and
3/
Signed into law by @GovKemp
She is claiming 'home rule'
This is unprecedented. Her new map will make our commission 5-0 Democrats
What is also concerning is that @ChrisCarr_Ga maintained that this is a 'county issue'
4/
Why is it a State Constitutional matter considered to be a 'county matter' by our GOP AG?
As a reminder, it is a majority GOP Legislature that drew the maps.
Strangely, he isn't backing up the Legislature over the Dem-controlled county.
5/
According to State Sen Ed Setzler, the challenge has come from private citizens. He spoke at the @cobbgop on Saturday and this is what he said per the @mdjonline
Why is my tax payer money being used to fund this? Why are our statewide leaders silent? Rhetorical questions.
6/
Today, our two GOP board members took a stand against @CupidforCobb .
I am very proud that my representative, Kelli Gambrell took a stand, as did Joann Gambrell.
They refused to vote on any measure today because of Lisa's lawless behavior.
Guess what happened?
7/
She had them removed from the dais. Because they took a stand against @CupidforCobb Unconstitutional actions.
Bravo Joann and Kelli for taking a stand against lawless behavior.
We have to stand where we can. From the @mdjonline 8/
Local politics are important. Become engaged.
Get to know your local people.
Support them when they take a stand.
This is how we make a difference
9/
Yesterday I had a conversation with my mom who is a @FoxNews Junkie.
She wanted to know my thoughts on the speaker's race.
She was appalled by the entire process.
Funny thing, she was appalled that KM wasn't counting the votes each time.
I had to explain to her what happened
1/
Because of course, @FoxNews did not explain the process to their viewers.
I told her that what happened was a good thing. Why?
Because I explained the fight and what was accomplished.
Why did I have to do it?
Because conservative media failed, bigly.
2/
The problem is that those of us who are dialed in make up the minority
I did something a little different this year for the pot likker for my greens.
First I emptied my fridge of old 'cuttings' bowl to make vegetable broth.
It is rich and flavorful. Leeks, dandelion greens, cabbage, fennel, peppers, onions, garlic, carrots, celery and garlic.
I dont throw those 'ends and stems and skins' away. I save them to make into a broth.
See how rich it is?
Don't forget that @BrianKempGA divorced himself from the @GaRepublicans in his race. Which never made sense. And on a local level, I can tell you that his absence made a difference. I live in Cobb. Kemp didn't want to have anything to do with @cobbgop

Let's go back to 2020. @JasonShepherd signed onto the Sidney Powell lawsuit.
At the time we had high trust with Sidney, and we now know that that case was garbage. He didn't sign onto the Trump case. Why?
That case was considered the best
2
In the nation. It was NEVER given hearing. Thus, the famous "phone call" that Fanni Willis is "investigating" @DavidShafer put his name on the line.
Fast forward to the 2021 Convention. @JasonShepherd challenged @DavidShafer for chair of the Ga Gop. Full disclosure..
3
Trying to understand something. @KurtSchlichter and @AmandaMilius focus on @GOP failures in NV in 2020 because they were there. They ignore what happened in GA after the election. @PatrickJWitt outlined the failures there in multiple interviews.
And the GA case was considered
1.
The best case in the nation in 2020. @MZHemingway documented that in her book Rigged. @ProfMJCleveland has documented how the case was solid. And @GabrielSterling said NBD
And Trump is being "prosecuted" in GA for his "phone call" in GA.
I would like to see you interview..
2.
Kash Patel just released on @jsolomonReports show that in Dec 2017, the FBI issued broad subpeonas for him and other HPSCI staffers.
Bank records, phone calls, emails, texts, etc.
This was one month b4 the meeting with RR where Rod threatened to investigate Nunes and Kash
1.
Rod later said he was 'just kidding'
He apparently wasn't.
The subpeonas were just just released
Nunes says on the same show that it was probably many of the staffers.
He is incensed. Says while we were investigating the DOJ/FBI for illegal spying....
2
The FBI/DOJ decided to spy on us to see what we were doing in our investigation.
Nunes says he was the obvious target
They used a GJ to get the subpoenas. He wants to know what they used with the GJ.
3.
The GOP/RNC is designed to be a bottom up organization, not a top down organization.
We hear a lot about 'grassroots' in the GOP. The DNC doesn't use that term, we do. Why?
Let's look at how we are structured as a party.
1.
This is how the GOP is structured per my county handbook.
Let's start by defining grassroots.
They are the volunteers who are not precinct officers.
Block captains, door knockers, donors, phone bankers, etc.
They volunteer to help when they can
Next is the precincts. 2.
The precinct officers are more engaged volunteers. Each voting precinct has 4 officers. A chair, a vice chair, a secretary and treasurer. They are responsible for organizing their precinct by neighborhood and engaging volunteers in each neighborhood.
They are elected and...
