Think about people disabled and trapped in toxic housing.
Think about communities whose natural environments have been targeted for continuous destruction.
Think about people at #humantrafficking intersections who aren't allowed to go outside.
Think about #sextrafficking survivors whose bodies have been changed intentionally to make it difficult or impossible for them to come into contact with the natural living world.
Think about people who are so sensitive to the poisons building up in the environments around them, their bodies' necessary detoxification events become life-threatening when they try to go outside without support.
Think about people who don't have anyone around them who would help them spend time outside after severe neurological injuries, and other severe physical injuries.
Grounding is absolutely crucial to our health. Our contact with the natural living world is absolutely crucial to our health.
Help someone in your universe make contact with the loving Earth and her amazing regenerative powers.
"BDSM's Grave Miseducation" is a topic we've covered before. Though... not yet on Twitter.
It can be a challenging conversation. How necessary is it? As necessary as addressing all the #sextrafficking co-optation that comes along with it.
So... no time like the present.
When you are finding yourself in environments where you are being mistreated -- and forced to pretend you like it -- this is the experience of being dominated by dishonorable influences.
Non-consensual imprisonment; non-consensual submission; indeed, non-consensual domination is also part of this important subject.
The influences dishonorably dominating you are, by and large, not doing so because that's something they originally really wanted.
Having watched David Icke be continuously lampooned in certain spaces, & watching how public discourse has been influenced to devolve into simple derision, annoyance, aggression, & obfuscation, one thing becomes very clear...
If one's only response to a piece of information is to mock or disparage it, that's not very convincing.
That's not part of any productive discourse, and it doesn't have anything to do with responsible science.
When individuals put passion and dedication into their work and that work is not examined at length on its true merits as part of honorable, inclusive conversations about the real breadth of the information, we haven't learned anything from them or about them.
@huny4vrlonely@CoastIggy@InaraIvy@LizCrokin@IntuitivePublic@StarConnective To be very honest, I am pretty neurologically scrambled by Twitter and I and my colleagues have encountered a lot of intentional conflict seeding here. So I am very sorry if I brought any of that energy into this conversation as I struggled to share what I felt was needed.
@huny4vrlonely@CoastIggy@InaraIvy@LizCrokin@IntuitivePublic@StarConnective I've also had quite a challenging time figuring out how to make proper threads, so that I could be communicating in an organized way with other people on Twitter, and I noticed that I'm a bit tangled up in that so that my messages aren't coming out in the order I expect.
When you find yourself inclined to ignore or erase conversations about violence that has been occurring, it's important to realize that there are people experiencing that violence who are also erased -- except they are still alive, and we can reach one another.
Everyone I can think of is experiencing profound stress because of the predatory systems we are all surrounded by and ensconced within.
When the stress each one of us is experiencing becomes a reason for stopping communications about ongoing violence that is occurring, I suppose it makes sense for us to expect more continuing violence.
