Sarah Burris: Pregnant women counting as high occupancy makes sense in states that say a fetus is human. You have to take it across the board--it's not just the carpool lane. (con't) @SarahBurris@RawStory
Sarah Burris: (con't) Everyone is 9 mos older if their life begins at conception. Nine months closer to the ages to drive, drink alcohol, vote, retire. @SarahBurris@RawStory
Sarah Burris: Repubs think Dems want to force people to use electric stoves instead of gas ranges. I know people who cook & bake who prefer cooking with gas. @SarahBurris@RawStory#StoveGate#Stovetroopers
Sarah Burris: There are other more important issues that are dangerous to one's health, like living in Los Angeles, swimming in a nuclear pond, or living next to a toxic waste dump. I'm wondering if Repubs will start embracing this @SarahBurris@RawStory#StoveGate#Stovetroopers
Sarah: It took so long with the Trump documents but not with the Biden documents. Dude, what's up with that?
Rick: If they can prove Biden took the papers intentionally, had his lawyers lie about it, fine--go after him. At least we know Merrick can move quickly. @SarahBurris
Sarah Burris: These are the same people who had a fit about the obesity of the M&M cartoon characters. Do they really have nothing better to talk about? @SarahBurris@RawStory
Sarah Burris: Biden cleared his throat & Repubs claim it was a secret message to border patrol. This is tan suit desperate. @SarahBurris@RawStory#TanSuitGate
Rick: Our six dictators in robes don't want anyone checking up on them. #RickShow
Sarah Burris: Not every Congressperson makes me make an angry sigh but Scott Perry does. @SarahBurris@RawStory
Sarah Burris: Trump has a lot of lost elections under his belt, and a lot of lost court cases, too. He's sitting in Mar-a-Lago "truthing" while his flock is getting smaller. @SarahBurris@RawStory
Sarah Burris: There were more Repubs than Dems who voted nationwide; Repubs voted for Dems across the board. 8% of Repubs voted for Dems while only 2% of Dems voted for Repubs. @SarahBurris@RawStory
Rick: One of the COVID-denier Diamond & Silk duo died recently. Rumors say COVID.
Sarah Burris: I don't want to speak ill of the dead; suffice it to say that everyone should get vaccinated. I'm freakishly scared of needles but I still got vaccinated. @SarahBurris@RawStory
Rick: There was a woman from IA whose husband was running for office--she voted 23 times for him in one election.
Sarah Burris: That's how you show your love for your husband, by committing a felony for him. Why'd she stop at 23? @SarahBurris@RawStory

Ian Millhiser: I was surprised SCOTUS took the case of Glacier Northwest; there are federal protections for strikes. SCOTUS has said if there's any doubt about whether or not a strike is allowed, the NLRB needs to make that determination. @imillhiser@voxdotcom
Ian Millhiser: This case [Glacier Northwest] is a way to drain the resources of the union. The only reason you'd want two simultaneous lawsuits going on is if you're the employer & you want to financially hurt the union. @imillhiser@voxdotcom
Ian Millhiser: If there aren't safeguards to prevent employers from bigfooting unions, even if you have the right to strike you can't do it if your union can't afford it or if the union has to spend its money on attorneys & not on the strike fund. @imillhiser@voxdotcom
Jasper Martus: We went into Nov feeling very confident our Gov Whitmer would be reelected. We had a Democratic trifecta for the first time in 40 yrs & only the third time in 150 yrs. We've just started our session & are already getting the ball rolling. @JasperRMartus
Jasper Martus: Eliminating Right to Work is one of our priorities. We've met with the Building Trades, the AFL, & the UAW. The first bill we introduced Wed was to repeal Right to Work. We wanted to start big & bold. These are issues we've talked about for years. @JasperRMartus
Rick: What you're doing is what Dems across the entire nation need to do: Restore rights to working people.
Jasper Martus: Repubs will go on record being against working people. Issues empowering working families & ensuring union rights should be nonpartisan. @JasperRMartus
Will Bunch: My friend joked that Biden's Stovetroopers are coming for your gas stoves. The idea that the gov't can weigh in on anything that affects public health... First they came for our guns, now they're coming for our grills. @Will_Bunch
Will Bunch: Lots of politicians lie abt their education, but Santos went further by saying he was a star volleyball player in college. His mother died 2x, once on 9/11 and again in 2016. He's a compulsive liar. The fact he's been in Congress a week is just appalling. @Will_Bunch
Rick: Who ran against George Santos? Why didn't they discover these lies? It was nice the NYT came out with the article but it would have been more helpful BEFORE the election! #RickShow
Carolyn Fiddler: Is Jim Jordan ever going to find his suit jacket? Where's the committee on that? @cfidd@CourierNewsroom
Rick: Will the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Gov't discover Hunter Biden's underwear size?
Carolyn Fiddler: No one wants to know that; it doesn't help anyone. No one cares. It's the Fox News-ification of Congress. @cfidd@CourierNewsroom
Carolyn Fiddler: Repubs didn't have trouble with nepotism when Trump was in the WH--Ivanka, Jared Kushner. @cfidd@CourierNewsroom
Jason Davis: A strike is always the last course of action we want to take. We're on day 165 of the Ingredion strike. I'm so proud of Local 100G in Cedar Rapids, IA; we have NO ONE who has crossed the picket line, despite it being hard on members & families @BCTGM#IngredionStrike
Jason Davis: We've had toy drives & food drives; we still have a small number of donations coming in to help striking workers put food on the table. The strike was especially hard over the holidays. @BCTGM#IngredionStrike
Rick: This is a wildly profitable corporation: The CEO pocketed over $10 million, or 449 times what the workers on the picket line are making. It's not that the company doesn't have the money, they just don't want to share it with the workers. #RickShow@BCTGM#IngredionStrike
Rich Glowacki: We ended up getting Sec'y of Labor Marty Walsh involved in our negotiations; he invited us to D.C. The membership voted down Case New Holland's last best & final offer. @UAW
Rich Glowacki: The company has probably spent 5x the amt they'd have spent on our contract on hiring scabs, putting them up in hotels, hiring police. @UAW
Rich Glowacki: It's very perplexing our company found it more cost-effective to hire all these entities that would prevent us from reaching an agreement & getting back to work. @UAW
