Ian Millhiser: I was surprised SCOTUS took the case of Glacier Northwest; there are federal protections for strikes. SCOTUS has said if there's any doubt about whether or not a strike is allowed, the NLRB needs to make that determination.

Ian Millhiser: This case [Glacier Northwest] is a way to drain the resources of the union. The only reason you'd want two simultaneous lawsuits going on is if you're the employer & you want to financially hurt the union.

Ian Millhiser: If there aren't safeguards to prevent employers from bigfooting unions, even if you have the right to strike you can't do it if your union can't afford it or if the union has to spend its money on attorneys & not on the strike fund.

Jasper Martus: We went into Nov feeling very confident our Gov Whitmer would be reelected. We had a Democratic trifecta for the first time in 40 yrs & only the third time in 150 yrs. We've just started our session & are already getting the ball rolling.

Jasper Martus: Eliminating Right to Work is one of our priorities. We've met with the Building Trades, the AFL, & the UAW. The first bill we introduced Wed was to repeal Right to Work. We wanted to start big & bold. These are issues we've talked about for years.

Jason Davis: A strike is always the last course of action we want to take. We're on day 165 of the Ingredion strike. I'm so proud of Local 100G in Cedar Rapids, IA; we have NO ONE who has crossed the picket line, despite it being hard on members & families
