the topics @TinaforSheriff has on her plate now after 8 fucking years of Deputy Steve Bernal running the @MCoSheriff I was on my phone 14/16 hours a day.

In the evening myself and several others had the Jameson hour. Usually at 11pm to 1am. By 1am it would get a little wild.

There were three of us, myself and two cops, one an internationally recognized DEA agent, another a retired STRAIGHT (uncorrupted) narcotics officer and we would talk about the serious money laundering and corruption issues IN THIS COUNTY, of Monterey

But, as I told this fine

group of honest people, the politics in Monterey Co. are so bad and our press is so disgusting that I’m spending an inordinate amount of my time 2012 to 2014 working on pushing back against the campaign of what eventually because Bernal’s narrow win.

The same dirty fucks who

loaded up a million dollars to @stevemcshane for supe and another $450,000 in hard money for @WendyRootAskew were all backing Bernal with what would become $1.2 MILLION in backing for an untested deputy of low character.

Men like Dave Gill of Gill Onion. Men like Bruce Taylor.

men like Ted Balestreri of Cannery Row Mafia fame (@RepJimmyPanetta’s buddy @cmarinucci) Men like DAVID ARMANASCO of @ArmanascoPR - who would later give free and unaccounted for public relations to Deputy Bernal 2014 - 2022.

It was absolutely fucking disgusting. I thanked God

that my grandparents, on both sides, and long term givers to this community in the medical profession and legal profession had moved on from our drama here on earth because I often thought of how disappointed they would be. Some of the people they knew well participated in the

Our local politicians were typical.

Untrustworthy, sneaky, looking out for their own self interests rather than the interests of this community. A community @wendyrootaskew claims to care about.

AND NOTHING HAS CHANGED. It’s been 13 years since Miller was elected and not one substantive change that I didn’t put into motion through Scott Miller has made MoCo better.

Worse, I was so busy with policy and politics I missed the Cannabis connection. The fact that those BIG

NAMES were already focused like a laser beam on one thing. The HUGE and dirty money maker Cannabis and the cash aspect could make a few VERY WEALTHY.

Crime?

Local politicians pay lip service.

Equity?

Local politicians pay lip service.

Substantive changes for a majority?

LIP SERVICE.

Remember folks these are the same special interests who can’t even get WATER right. NOT a complex issue. THEY make it one.

It’s time for a change. Not sure how fast that will happen but I’m newly committed (despite our local media’s personal attacks) to addressing.
