/X We are proud to announce we are finally publicly launching our Constant Mean Market Maker (CMMM) onto Devnet (aftermath.finance). Here is a thread on how our CMMM plays a part on Aftermath. 🧵
/X A CMMM overcomes the limitations of Constant Product AMMs by allowing for arbitrary-weighted pools with sizes greater than two. This serves multiple purposes for us here.
/X First, by launching on Sui, we believe we can deliver the best experience for newly-launched, low-liquid tokens.
/X Second, by allowing for multiple tokens in a pool we can combat fragmentation in the market. For example, instead of creating three separate 2-asset pools between the tokens SUI/USDC/AF and splitting the liquidity equally, we can create one 3-asset pool.
/X This will be huge for the amount of wrapped-assets we expect to be on Sui; with Wormhole, Layer Zero and Axelar all bridging similar liquidity into Sui, we will be able to efficiently pool this liquidity into one CMMM instead of being fragmented across multiple 2-asset pools.
/X Third, the ability for granular weighting of assets means we can create pools that maintain more interesting value distributions.
/X This will enable us to use our CMMM as a building block to create decentralized indices, and later portfolio management systems, to not only track, but to allow access to unified yield.
