4\ I accept folks on the left are going to disagree about the war, but going out of your way to deliberately misidentify a symbol belonging to the victims of war, as a hate symbol, in order to handwave away its vandalism WITH a hate symbol is repugnant and hypocritical.
5\ We saw this stuff with PEGIDA members vilifying anything remotely Muslim (the Shahada, for example) as "ISIS inspired". There isn't much difference. Taking cultural symbols out of context, textbook vilification from the people who wanted an 'anti-vilification' law...

7\ If you screw up identifying "hate symbols" so badly, you're defending swastika vandalism, you really have no business with an org which ostensibly exists to accurately identify and report on hate groups and symbols. Unless they're making the switch to straight disinfo now?
