The cold, dark night of January 19, 1990, had stirred into life the worst nightmares of Kashmiri Pandits living in the valley. Screaming from loud speakers and crowded streets was a message for the Hindus living in Kashmir -

Ralive, Tsaliv ya Galive ( convert into Islam, leave Kashmir or get ready to die).all started on 14 sept 1989, when Pandit Tika lal Taploo, a lawyer by profession and an active BJP member was shot dead by JKLF (Jammu and kashmir liberation front) members,

followed by Srinagar High court Judge Nilkant Ganjoo it Local newspapers were flooded with threats from terrorists outfits like Hizbul to kashmiri pandits.

All the official buildings were being painted green as a sign of Islamic rule, masked men with Kalashnikov were roaming on the streets of kashmir. Shops, factories, temples and house of kashmiri pandits were being burned and destroyed.

On 18 and 19 January 1990, a blackout took place in whole kashmir valley, the power supply of whole valley was cut except the mosques, which broadcast..divisive and inflammatory messages, asking for the purge of Kashmiri Pandits.

On 12th Feb. 1990, in Budgam, a young boy named Tej Kishan Razdan was accosted by one of his Muslim friends. He persuaded Tej Krishan, to accompany him to Srinagar and both boarded the Matador from Budgam to Srinagar.

When the Matador reached Gaw-Kadal suddenly his friend pulled out a Revolver and shot him several Times in the chest. He was dragged to the Local Masjid and his dead body was put on display there.

Massive crowd had started to assemble in mosques across the valley, shouting anti-india, anti-pandit slogans. In the next few months, thousands of innocent Pandits are tortured, killed and raped.

By the year-end, about Lakhs of Pandits have escaped from the Valley and taken refuge in Jammu and elsewhere.Those who stayed back were raped, tortured and killed….In late 90's : About 2-3% population of Kashmiri Pandits was left in Kashmir, mostly in remote villages.

1. 1997 Sangrampora massacre: Seven
Kashmiri pandit villagers of Sangrampora village of Budgam on 21 March 1997 were killed by Islamic militants.

2. 1998 Wandhama massacre: 23 Kashmiri
Pandits, included four children, nine women and 10 men were killed by Islamic militants on 25 Jan 1998 and demolished a Hindu temple and a house.

3. 1998 Chapnari massacre: 25 Kashmiri hindus were killed by islamic militants in Chapnari village in Doda.

4. Nadimarg Village massacre: 24 Kashmiri
Pandits, including infants, were brutally shot dead in Nadimarg Village.

In the name of Jihad, Kashmiri pandits were systematically eliminated by the terrorists, The holy war didnt spare even children...

Every time government proposed of rehabilitating pandits in Kashmir valley,hardcore Terrorist outfit,old and new,warned kashmiri pandits of fire consequences,if they opted to return back to Kashmir.

Truthfull narration of history is a duty we owe to the younger generation of Indians, who were yet unborn 32 years ago.

The history of the events and what led to it all, is required to be in school history books , NCERT and CBSE..

The Trans Generational Trauma is likely to persist for generations..

Kashmiri Pandit should take maximum advantage of the Agnipath program and learn military, and organizational skills..

The systematic demographic alteration of the Kashmir valley must proceed with full vigor and utilize all the resources the Republic of India can provide.

Kashmir, must become an eighty percent Hindu majority region by the year 2025.
