The story of The Great One. Yes, alcohol was involved.
"The Honeymooners is still just about a group of working class people, living in the city, and trying to make a better life for themselves. These themes are just as relevant today as they were in the 1950’s" thehoneymoonersanewlook.wordpress.com
"Networks developed prime-time shows that would appeal to a general family audience. Chief among these types of shows was the domestic comedy—a generic family comedy that was identified by its character-based humor and usually set within the home." opentext.wsu.edu/com101/chapter…

Even Twitter brags..."we own television". But Twitter needs expensive TV content to spark the free conversation. Twitter also "owns" other topics. Like politics. marketing.twitter.com/en/insights/8-…
Twitter doesn't see the irony in Musk's political affiliations and his need to promote a political agenda. Watch out for those state propagandists. Like the ones that can twist other media people don't read or watch to their own personal benefit. help.twitter.com/en/rules-and-p…
2016: 59% of Twitter users are simply virtue signaling by just passing on headlines but never actually reading or debating the article. We are stupid smart. And we deserve stupid shibboleths that sound smart to stupid people if we don't read or watch. digitaltrends.com/social-media/t…
It's actually hard to get Twitter users to read or watch anything that occupies more than 8 - 30 seconds. Just ask Twitter. Thankfully Twitter will sell you the tools to distort your opinions and products. Good for fuckerists bad for regular folks. help.twitter.com/en/using-twitt…
2020 Pre Elon, Twitter's one salvation was that it was real. Something bad people and crooked conniver's really don't' like. "Honest, sustained social media momentum behind candidates does seem to translate into something" nytimes.com/2020/02/19/opi…
and here we have the moment of clarity from Charlie Warzel as to why Twitter should not be owned by one person: "One way to read my “Twitter is real life” argument is that elites’ opinions aren’t in step with America, but it doesn’t matter because they’re more influential" Boom.

Twitter is officially the "least wrong source of truth". This statement, based on the statements of the people Elon allowed back and his support of disproven conspiracy theories, is demonstrably a lie.
How should Twitter measure "truth"? Easy. Factchecking, not publishing or distributing knowingly false, defamatory or damaging information, allowing peer-based discussion on opposing views and inviting actual experts to opine using cites and research. Just like the real world.
Twitter had a system where recognized people could get a blue check now that has been prostituted. The publishing company knows exactly who engages in flatulence and fuckery on their site but it drives clicks. A fundamental business problem Elon won't solve. So he lies about it.

Conflict in Ukraine is teaching us that Drones are a disposable but live saving commodity. From DJIs to Bayraktars they have a very short lifespan. Ten days to four weeks I was told. It is the ability to produce more drones faster that shift the paradigm . forbes.com/sites/davidaxe…
Not surprisingly "members of congress" are considering the lyingest liars. Yet we pay their salaries to lie. Doctors, accountants, even lawyers have some level of accountability for deceiving customers.
Some groups try to measure the 'trust" of politicians. Naturally there is a bipolar meltdown when each side measures the other. Wouldnt' it be helpful if a government employee not only had performance reviews but reward/punishments for doing their job? morningconsult.com/senator-rankin…
America has a serious problem. The entity we chose to lead us is despised and distrusted. And the people we hire to make the rules and drive the bus keep changing the rules so they have less accountability. That seems like a serious problem we should fix. pewresearch.org/politics/2022/…
You could make a valid argument that the Trump era began with a lie (The Apprentice) and ended with an lie (election denying) The question we have to ask ourselves is why does much of America accept mythology and lies as being real? reuters.com/investigates/s…
Some of America's famous icons are liars. Prophets who promise wealth, actors who pretend to be other people, authors who write fiction, directors who create mythical landscapes, preachers who promise miracle cures.
Professionals often look at accepting lies as way of coping with trauma people don't want to admit to themselves. "I have learned that it is not unusual for people to believe someone, even when they have substantial proof that the are being lied to" nbcnews.com/think/opinion/…
