I’ve been thinking about a #krtsk#kurotsuki magical au but make it angst. This will be more of a word vomit then like a fully fleshed out story. Also TW temporary mcd and a lot of angst.
Kuroo is 21, finishing up his apprenticeship with his towns potion master. He loves mixing
Ingredients and making new potions, the chemistry of it all.
Tsukki is 19 and just starting his apprenticeship as a curse breaker. It’s dangerous work, but he loves solving problems, loves being the one to crack the code, and he’s incredibly good at it so kuroo insists he does
It.
They live together, have for a year now, dating for way longer. They’re engaged, young but they both know that they’re it for each other. Their love is strong, and they’re excited to start their lives together.
Until one day, it goes wrong. Tsukki is working on a cursed
Object with his mentor. His mentor does the first check and deems it safe enough to leave tsukki with it while he runs some errands, letting tsukki run the routine spells to clean it.
The problem is it isn’t safe, and by the time tsukki notices the glamour on the object it’s
Too late to reverse the curse from activating. When the mentor returns from his errands, all that’s left of tsukki is his jewelry and the smoldering remains of the object.
Kuroo is beside himself when he finds out, he refuses to believe that tsukki is gone. There was no body,
He isn’t dead. He quits his apprenticeship to throw himself into research, cuts off all of his friends and family who try to make him accept that tsukki is gone. Their place, once busy with life even when they weren’t home, plants moving from room to room to get the best sun,
Brooms sweeping up by themselves, etc, shrivels up with him. It’s so dark and gloomy that the neighbors start to reach out to kenma, who along with yamaguchi(the best person to help kuroo cope with his grief from losing tsukki, since Akiteru can’t bear to see their house) go and
Stage an intervention. There’s a lot of tears and screaming. Kuroo asks yama how he could give up on tsukki. He’s out there, he knows it.
Yama is like kuroo it’s been over a year, he’s gone.
Kuroo says he can’t be gone. I’ve done locator spells on him and if he was dead they
Would lead to a body, they don’t. The objects he enchants to find tsukki just zoom around the room in circles before bursting into flames, that has to mean something.
And yamaguchi is like do you think we didn’t look?? Do you think Aki and I didn’t go to every single curse
Breaker and every single scholar that we could find??? You’re not the only one who lost him??
And Kuroo’s like maybe I’m the only one who cared.
And yama starts to cry and kenma is like enough is enough. You don’t get to monopolise missing tsukki. You can’t keep acting like
This. You think this is what tsukki would want from you? You think he would want you to wither away into a corpse?
And kuroo breaks down and is like how am I supposed to go on without him? He was my everything. What if he’s hurting and I just abandon him to that?
And yama is
Like if he could come back to us I know he would. We can’t create miracles. Even if he was out there somewhere he wouldn’t want us hurting for him, you know that’s true.
And they cry and hug and kuroo agrees to go see a therapist and stop looking into it. (He tells himself he
Will continue to look into it on the side.)
He slowly gets better, on the outside. He reconnects with friends, his former mentor lets him finish his course and work at his shop. He still researches nightly, he still can’t cope sleeping in an empty bed so he sleeps on a couch
In his new apartment.
Then a few years down the line he meets oikawa. Oikawa is a botanist working with Kuroo’s mentor on some rare plants and he pushes Kuroo’s buttons. He flirts with him shamelessly, and eventually kuroo flirts back. It takes a few sessions with his therapist
To not be eaten alive by guilt for even smiling at the man.
Oikawa asks him out and after much deliberation and encouragement from his friends, he says yes. They go on a few dates when oikawa goes to kiss him and he flinches. He explains what happened and oikawa is like we can
Take it slow. I care for you and I’m not going to abandon you.
It’s rough - their relationship. The opposite of him and tsukki, he would think on his worst nights. They were two halves of one piece and now he was the jagged edge trying to jam himself into oikawa’s picture
Perfect life.
Things came to a head on what had started out as a good day. They had lunch and ended up back at Kuroo’s place, tangled in his sheets. Kuroo was dozing, and oikawa went looking for the kitchen but the house, like most magical houses, had taken on aspects of
Kuroo. The house knew this wasn’t who kuroo had been searching for and instead of the kitchen, it opened up Kuroo’s hidden room that was full of tsukki’s things. The maps and charts and books overflowing, ink still tacky on the pages from his notes the night before.
Kuroo
Rounded the corner looking for oikawa and froze when he saw him rifling through the papers strewn on the table. They fought, an ugly fight. Kuroo yelled at oikawa for touching tsukki’s stuff. Oikawa screamed that this, all of this, wasn’t healthy. Kuroo told him he didn’t care.
This was a part of him. Oikawa told him he understood the loss and would never ask to replace tsukki but that he wouldn’t play second fiddle to a dead man. Kuroo threw him out.
Oikawa calls kenma who shows up and tells kuroo that he cannot keep doing this. He holds him as he
Cries, and when kuroo falls asleep kenma uses his magic to move all of the stuff in the room to his version of a storage room, trapped in the void where only kenma can get to it.
When kuroo finds out he’s hysterical, kenma tells him enough is enough. He needs to quit cold
Turkey. He had to deal with it, process the loss. Maybe when kuroo could approach it with a healthier outlook he could have tsukki’s stuff back. Not the research though. That was done.
More therapy, group sessions with yama and yachi and one on ones with his therapist and
Eventually kuroo goes to apologize to oikawa. Oikawa agrees to hear him out and together they agree to try again. It’s still not perfect, but kuroo puts in the effort this time.
In what feels like the blink of an eye, 15 years has passed since tsukki’s disappearance. Kuroo and
Oikawa live together now, and they just got engaged a few months back. Kuroo still misses tsukki, especially on nights when the moon is full and bright in the sky, or the fireflies are sparkling, but he’s learned how to deal with it. How to share his happy memories with oikawa
Instead of bottling it in.
They’re having a dinner party at their place, bokuaka and kenhina and yamayachi, celebrating their engagement when the unthinkable happens. One second they’re sitting around the table, sharing drinks and laughing, the next the ground is shaking and
The air starts to singe their noses, and the next second a thud rings out.
There’s a man - a boy really - on the table who wasn’t there before.
An unconscious blonde boy who’s face is tilted directly at kuroo, who would recognize him anywhere.
A 19 year old Tsukishima Kei.
Kuroo would feel sick to his stomach if he could feel anything at all. He can’t move, frozen in place as he vaguely registers yachi scream and chairs scraping.
Hinata, the healer in the group, jumps into action. Checking for a pulse or any injuries. Then it’s a flurry of
Action. Yama is helping hinata and kenma is calming down yachi who’s crying, oikawa is loudly suggesting they get someone here to check who exactly it is in front of them, like the authorities or a curse breaker. Kuroo finally blinks back into himself, gasping out a ‘Kei’ before
Oikawa steps in his way, placating hands coming up to his shoulders. He says that they can’t be too hasty, they don’t know for certain this is actually him and kuroo pushes his hands off of him. Kuroo goes I don’t need anyone to tell me who this is, it’s tsukki I know it is. I
Would know him anywhere. He steps closer but not within touching distance, asking hinata if he’s okay.
Hinata and yama confirm, it’s tsukki. He appears to be okay from what they can tell but also unconscious. Hinata says they need to get him to a clinic or somewhere with a
Specialist and kuroo says he can take him but yama reassures him that they’ll take care of him and give him an update. Oikawa had left the room when kuroo snapped at him and Bo and akaashi drag kuroo to the living room for the four of them to try and sit down, as kenma takes
Yachi home. Kuroo can barely believe what’s happening.
15 years. He knew he shouldn’t have given up. He knew that he should’ve kept looking. Oh god he abandoned him. Oikawa tries to comfort him but he isn’t hearing it so him and akaashi go to clean the kitchen while bo holds
Kuroo, rocking him back and forth as he cries.
He falls asleep in the living room and spends the whole night out there. When he wakes up he tries to go to hinatas place and hinata is like he’s with a different healer, but that there wasn’t a status change. Kuroo wants to go see
Him but hinata shakes his head. They contacted Akiteru last night and Aki, along with the healer think it’s best he meets people one at a time until they can assess his mental state. They don’t know if he knows he skipped 15 years, if he was coherent the entire time or what but
If he didn’t, having multiple older versions of people thrown at him could cause serious problems for his mental state. He relents but spends his day brooding, barely acknowledging oikawa who tries to comfort him until he realizes maybe kuroo just needs space.
Meanwhile at
Akiteru’s house, tsukki finally wakes up. He groans at the headache pounding in his brain before he blinks his eyes open and takes in Akiteru.
He ignores his own pain to raise his eyebrows and go ‘what happened to you? You accidentally take an aging potion or get cursed?’ But
He can’t see the tiny tendrils that normally weave around cursed people, and he sees Akiteru grimace. What is going on.
Aki tries to break it to him slowly but tsukki is like get fucking on with it what is wrong don’t baby me
And then Aki tells him he disappeared for 15
Years. That Aki doesn’t just look older, he is.
Tsukki freezes before accusing him of lying and telling him it’s not funny, starting to panic. Aki swears he’s not lying. That he would never lie about this. He asks him if he wants to see yama and tsukki says yes so he leaves to
Grab him from the other room while tsukki tries to calm his beating heart, tries to not hyperventilate.
When yama walks in, also 15 years older, tsukki breaks. Tsukki used to be older than him by a few months, used to tease yama for having a baby face, and now there is a full
Grown adult standing in the room trying to console him.
Yama is like it’s okay, everything will be okay tsukki we’re just glad you’re back we missed you and he’s also crying so maybe he isn’t doing the best job at supporting him but it’s been 15 years since he’s seen his best
Friends face so who can blame him. Aki just sits on the side, letting them have their moment but staying close.
Then tsukki sniffles, tears slowing, and he asks where kuroo is. They both falter at that, yama starts stammering about the weather of all things(awful under pressure
When it comes to tsukki, really) and aki is beating around the bush so tsukki says again, louder, where. Is. Kuroo.
He makes eye contact with yama who looks somehow sadder than before and his stomach lurches thinking the worst, before aki tells him they thought it was best he
Wasn’t greeted with too many older versions of his past. And tsukki is like why would either of you ever think it was best I didn’t see tetsu?? And they falter enough tsukki is like is he okay? Is he not here cause he’s sick or something? And yamas like well he’s not sick persay
And tsukki is like spit it fucking out where is he?
And yama goes tsukki, you have to understand it’s been 15 years. We thought you were dead.
And tsukki’s like I don’t understand just tell me where he is.
And yama is like tsukki. He’s engaged.
And tsukki’s like yeah to
Me??
And yama is like no, to someone else.
And tsukki’s like what do you mean to someone else? And his voice is cracking and the tears are starting again and Aki has to leave the room but yama stays and holds him as he sobs. Tsukki’s like he gave up on me?
And yama is like
Tsukki he took it the worst when you disappeared. He didn’t talk to kenma for months and it took us years to get him to move on. And yama is crying too now because even though he knows they had no choice, the knowledge that tsukki was somewhere, that there might have been
Something else they could’ve done is too much. And tsukki’s like shut up I don’t want your logic I just want to cry so they do.
He spends most of his first day refusing to see anyone but yama and eventually yachi, and the three of them curl up in Akis guest bed as the house
Creates a gentle breeze for them, wind chimes popping up to catch it.
As the afternoon approaches tsukki hears children laughing and looks over to yama who’s snoring, mouth open and drooling before rolling his eyes and looking over at yachi. He asks her why the house is making
Kid sounds and yachi is like silly that’s not the house. Aki has two kids, they’re younger but they’re very excited to meet their uncle who Aki never shuts up about, when he’s ready of course. Tsukki says not today, and she nods understandingly, detangling herself to go grab
The three of them some dinner.
Meanwhileee kuroo is back at his and oikawa’s, refusing to move off of the couch. Oikawa is like tetsurou please I know this is a shock but you have moved past it. You can’t let it ruin you again.
And kuroo is like again? I was ruined from the
start. And don’t talk about Kei like he’s an it.
And oikawa is hurt but trying to remain patient and is like tetsurou the best thing you can do for him is give him space to move on. He told his brother he doesn’t want to see you, you have to let him let you go.
Kuroo doesn’t
Want to hear it. He doesn’t want tsukki to let him go, because even after all this time he hadn’t let tsukki go but how does he tell that to a man he promised to marry not even a month ago.
Over a week passes. Tsukki finally starts opening up to meeting more than yam/yachi/Aki.
Saeko slaps him on the back when he first comes down for dinner, doesn’t handle him with the gloves everyone else has been and it’s a breath of fresh air. He notices her aging the least, personality still so vibrant he only marks the crows feet at her eyes because he’s looking
For it. Their kids come barreling in next, and his niece and nephew are overwhelming. Adorable but overwhelming.
They’re still young enough they don’t really get a lot of social cues and more than once they ask tsukki something about his disappearance that had Aki scolding them
As tsukki flinches, but he answers them as best as he can. Kuroo always wanted kids eventually. He wonders if he has them now.
His niece is a shapeshifter, a rare form for her magic to take and as they talk she gets so excited she’s constantly morphing her features, his nephew
Just as excitable but his magic hasn’t shown yet besides the regular floating objects and the house listening to his commands.
Tsukki meets with hinata(sans kenma, too many memories tie him to kuroo and he’s not ready to face any sort of judgement for refusing to even see
Kuroo) and kageyama. He can’t bring himself to see Bo and akaashi yet either but he does talk to them on the phone, and promises that soon he will come over. Akaashi is insistent that he comes to meet their baby aka their cat.
Eventually Aki goes back to work(at a bank, what
Kind of wizard works at a bank, tsukki teases) and they leave tsukki with free reign of the house during the day. He uses his time alone to try and process things, even though he’s slowly trying to reintegrate himself into this life, it still feels like a dream sometimes.
Sometimes when he wakes up, he swears he can still hear kuroo humming in the shower, still feel his imaginary heat behind him in bed. It breaks his heart all over again, and he often spends his days laying in bed wondering if the hurt will ever stop.
Kuroo is not doing much
Better. He tries, for Oikawa’s sake, to talk to his therapist. To talk to his friends. To come to terms that tsukki, his tsukki, is back but no longer his. He does care for oikawa and he tries to ignore the feeling whenever the two of them are alone, but he’s not sure he can do
It. His therapist suggests attempting to talk to tsukki again, that maybe he needs closure. Kuroo says that Aki won’t even take his calls, or his messages. His potions at work are affected, taking in his negative energy and changing their properties at the last second. After his
Third ruined potion, a simple cold remedy that he’s pretty sure would now work as a breeding ground for the germs, his boss is like kuroo maybe you should take a week off. You haven’t been taking vacations anyways, take a week or two and we’ll go from there.
Now he has all of
This time in front of him with nothing to fill it with. He can’t tell oikawa he was put off work for a bit, it goes against his act that everything is getting better. He leaves in the morning and wanders, often finding himself at old places him and tsukki used to visit. Two days
Into his break, he finds himself standing in front of akis house. He knows he shouldn’t, knows he should respect Kei’s wishes and turn around and leave, but he knocks anyways.
Tsukki, on the second floor of the house with his headphones in, shouldn’t hear it but he does thanks
To the house. He goes to walk down to see who it is when he gets to the top of the stairs and freezes. The door is solid besides a tiny window towards the top, where the peak of a messy black head of hair shows. The person knocks again and tsukki walks down the stairs, shaking.
He stands in front of the closed door, emotions flickering through him at the thought of kuroo being so close but so far away. He’s not ready to see him, not ready to say goodbye yet, but he also desperately wants to talk to him. Kuroo thuds his head against the door, probably
Giving up.
‘You’re not supposed to be here.’ Tsukki calls out, leaving the door shut. He feels more than hears kuroo jump, seeing the all too familiar strands of Kuroo’s magic weaving around him even through the door.
‘Kei. I know. I know.’ Comes Kuroo’s strangled response.
‘I’m not opening the door for you. I don’t want to see you.’ Tsukki says, mad that even now his voice wavers, tears springing to his eyes.
‘Okay. That’s okay. Even if you kick me off your porch, ill take what I can get from you.’
‘You can’t say that to me,’ Tsukki chokes.
‘You have a fiancée now.’
‘I know, and I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry, I swear. Everyone said you were gone.’
‘You should’ve believed I wasn’t!’ Tsukki shouts.
‘I tried, so hard kei. I tried to tell them. I’m so sorry.’
He can hear Kuroo’s gasps for breath on the other side
Of the door and even though he’s hurt, hearing kuroo upset hurts him more.
‘Stop. You’re right I know. I cant expect you to have put your life on hold for me.’
‘I would’ve. I should’ve.’
‘Kuroo, please. This isn’t fair.’
‘I know. I’ll leave if you really want, but I’m
Coming back tomorrow. Even if it’s just to hear you yell at me. I’ve waited fifteen years for the sound of your voice again.’
‘Shut up,’ Tsukki laughs through the tears. ‘You can stay but I’m not opening the door. And I don’t have anything else to say to you today.’
‘Okay.
I’ll do the talking.’ They both move to sit down, backs resting against opposite sides of the door. Tsukki sees Kuroo’s magic brightening as he talks, about some stupid non magic television show he watched recently. He knows kuroo can’t see his own magic responding, that they
Have different gifts, but hopes kuroo knows he’s listening to every word.
Tsukki kicks him out before Aki gets home, knowing his brother would scold him for not ‘allowing himself to move on’ or whatever bs he thinks about Tsukki’s recovery. Kuroo swears he’ll be back the same
Time tomorrow.
And he is. Four days pass the same way, both of them talking through the door, tsukki still not able to bring himself to look at him. The house keeps increasing the window though, and he only hopes by the time it’s big enough to show Kuroo’s face he’s ready to
See it. It’s about to be the weekend though, and Aki will be home during the day so tsukki tells him so.
‘I’ll figure out something. I can still come see you.’
Tsukki sighs, bitter about having to go the weekend without talking to kuroo, reality curling in around the edges
Of their midday rendezvous.
‘Does your fiancée know you’re here, kuroo?’ He asks, quietly but kuroo still freezes mid sentence.
‘No.’
‘You should stop. It’s not fair to him that you keep coming here.’
‘I think even if I didn’t come here, it wouldn’t be fair to him. Kei,
One word from you and I’d leave him in a heartbeat, you must know that. Even if you no longer want me, I think we’re pretty much doomed.’
Tsukki is torn, because he doesn’t want to be the reason kuroo is upset. He doesn’t want to be the one to tear them apart, but he never
Stopped loving kuroo. It had only been like a month for him since their last anniversary, where they spent the night on their tiny rooftop garden where kuroo grew the ingredients he needed for their household potions, legs tangled together under a pile of blankets, looking at the
Stars. He didn’t know what to do, but he did reach up and open the door. Just a crack, not enough for either of them to fit through. He slid his hand outside, waiting patiently at first before snapping at Kuroo’s inaction.
‘Give me your hand you big dummy.’ Kuroo jolted into
Action, intertwining their fingers. The both exhaled shakily at the contact, kuroo automatically having to hold back tears. This was his first time touching tsukki in over fifteen years. He had dreamed about this moment for years(granted it was never with a door between them but
You take what you can.)
‘I won’t do anymore, I can’t, until you either leave him or tell me you only want to be my friend. It’s not fair to me either. You have to tell him if you want me to take you back.’
‘I will. I promise.’
This time, they spend most of the time sitting
In silence, reveling in the weight of the other ones hands. They whisper their goodbyes, and kuroo goes home. He’s home hours before he would be if he was working, but oikawa works until later so he won’t notice. It gives him time to figure things out. How to break it to him. He
Walks into the living room to sit down and think but freezes when he sees oikawa standing there, looking pained.
‘Tetsurou. Why aren’t you at work?’
‘Uh I got off early?’ He knows he shouldn’t lie but he’s so caught off guard, so used to lying to everyone these last 15 years
It slips out.
‘Liar. Even now you won’t come clean?’
Kuroo goes to tell him he doesn’t know what he means when oikawa cuts him off again.
‘Do you know who tsukishima’s brothers neighbor is? Iwaizumi, my old friend from school? He told me you’ve been over there every day this
Week. Sitting on their porch. Tetsurou, what are you doing?? Last I knew he didn’t want to see you, and you’re what harassing him? We’re literally supposed to go look at wedding venues next weekend?’
And kuroo caves. Tells oikawa that he’s sorry but he can’t go through with it.
That tsukki is talking to him, slowly, but he knows he will never be able to love oikawa like he deserves. Oikawa is like fuck you you don’t get to make this sound like a good thing for me. Get out.
So kuroo packs his things into his suitcase and poofs to Bo and akaashis house
Because kenma, bless his soul, has told kuroo multiple times that no, he is in fact not welcome to sleeping on his couch. He likes his alone time with shoyo too much for Kuroo’s nosey self to be around.
Akaashi immediately groans seeing the suitcase, going great now tsukki will
Never come visit. He explains the situation and they agree he can stay in their spare room for now.
Monday rolls around and he goes back to akis house, knocking on the door. Tsukki is already there and he tells him that him and oikawa are done, and that if he ever shows up
With discolored hair or an extra eyebrow it’s because oikawa did not take it well, which was understandable. Tsukkis quiet, and kuroo is like are you okay and he’s like would you be mad if I said I wasn’t ready to see you yet. And Kuroo’s like no, take your time. We go at your
Pace. Besides the longer the better so you don’t change your mind when you see my old man mug. And tsukki tells him to shut up but the house has other plans and the door just vanishes and they both stand there in shock, as they make eye contact. Kuroo’s mouth is dry, and he
Struggles to say that he can totally turn around and pretend the door is still there, as tsukki takes in the older kuroo. 36 looks good on him, even with the emotional rollercoaster of the last few weeks.
Kuroo goes oh Kei, as tsukki starts to cry automatically.
He hisses for
Kuroo to shut up again, crossing the threshold to throw himself into his arms.
They hold each other on the porch as tsukki curses kuroo out, telling him to never try and marry another man again. Kuroo swears it’s only tsukki for him, for now and forever. Eventually the tears
Stop and tsukki demands kuroo holds him while he naps, and kuroo nods, following him upstairs.
They spend the first few minutes tracing each others face, tsukki noticing the differences, demanding explanations for any scars or marks he didn’t know of, kuroo tracing features he
Had only seen in dreams lately. They fall asleep in each other’s arms, only waking up when aki gets home and finds them and starts yelling, while saeko busts up laughing next to him. Tsukki wakes up and his face is so grumpy, so familiar to kuroo that he can’t help but also
Laugh. Aki is like what is he doing here and tsukki is like what did you expect. Keep it up and I’ll move in with him and Bo and akaashi tonight. And saeko is like let them live. We knew they would always end up together and she asks if kuroo is staying for dinner to which tsukki
Says no, akaashi will kill me if I don’t go see him soon. Maybe tomorrow though?
They try to take it slow, try to ease back into things but they both fail at that and within a month, tsukki is leaving Akis house to move into a new place with kuroo. He doesn’t want to go back
Into curse breaking, not after what happened so he looks into other uses for his gifts. Kuroo goes back to the potion shop and his potions are not only back on track but better than before.
Fast forward two years later, kuroo and tsukki are finally planning their wedding. It’s
Going to be a small one, close friends and family only, when kuroo runs into oikawa while he’s purchasing some new cauldrons for their place. They both freeze and then both notice the rings on the other ones fingers.
‘Tsukishima’s I suppose?’ Oikawa asks and kuroo nods,
Pointing to Oikawa’s finger.
‘Do I wanna know?’
‘Turns out iwaizumi is a much better partner for me than you,’ he turns his head up and away from kuroo.
‘I’m happy for you you know. even if you hate me.’
Oikawa sighs dramatically. ‘I don’t hate you you idiot.’
Kuroo
Grins. ‘I’d have to ask Kei first but would you come if I invited you to my wedding?’
‘I suppose. Only if you come to mine and tell your fiancee that he is absolutely not allowed to outshine me on my day.’
‘Impossible thing to ask, he’s radiant like the starlight.’ He jokes.
‘Please. I’m glad we didn’t work out if that’s a compliment.’
Tsukki agrees to meet oikawa, and they end up folding iwaoi into their monthly quadruple couple dates with bkak kenhina yamayachi.
They live happily ever after the end

Kuroo is nervous. He doesn’t know why he’s nervous, not really. On the surface, it’s because he’s meeting his girlfriend’s youngest son today. Deep down, his brain doesn’t accept that as an answer.
He’s already met her oldest son, and they got along
Perfectly fine. He’s a people person, he knows how to deal with all types of personalities, without batting an eye. Almost thirty years of working with the JVA and their eccentric players have honed his people skills.
So why was he nervous?
He gets to Ayako’s house and is immediately put to work. Dinner is almost ready except for the finishing touches, so he’s setting the table while Akiteru, her oldest, is starting to bring out some of the dishes. Kuroo looks at them, eyebrows raised.
When Tsukishima had seen his former teacher on the app he had downloaded, he had originally swiped as a joke. There was no way the Kuroo Tetsurou, heartthrob of Karasuno, would swipe back. It was vindicating to confirm he was gay though.
He had less than a month to lose his virginity before he turned nineteen and he was determined to make it happen. He had only had the app for a few hours when DMs started rolling in, but his eyes caught on this one. Everyone else could wait.
‘Nope, I’m serious,’ he replies.
His bio was short and to the point. ‘Almost 19. Virgin. Not looking for a relationship, just someone to fuck me.’
‘Tsukishima. Do you know what kind of people you’re going to attract with that bio?’
Correction: he hates his neighbor’s boyfriend who moved in three months ago, six months after Kuroo missed his one and only shot to ask out his original neighbor.
The neighbor, Kuroo’s long lost soulmate, the one who got away, was Tsukishima Kei, and Kuroo has had a crush on him since the day he moved in. He had offered to help carry boxes, joking that Tsukishima’s arms looked like they needed a break, and Tsukishima had glared at him in
such a bone chilling way, Kuroo was clearly hooked.
He had warmed up to him slightly when Kuroo had caught Tsukishima’s cat, Strawberry, after a daring and unfortunate escape from Tsukishima’s balcony to Kuroo’s.
They had coffee dates, they went grocery shopping together,
