let me start by saying ... REALLY, i mean REALLY??? thats what you are going with. the M1s have been in combat for 30ish years in iraq (both wars). we have lost a lot of them over time... china, russia, iceland ... everyone has had a chance to see the DU armor up close by now
local scrap yards in iraq have got large sections of M1s.. you are talking about a secret in the defense industry for over 30 years.. hey people got something to tell you, its no longer secret.
Chobham armour was at one time top secret, just a few years ago, but guess what, now there is a wiki page about it. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chobham_a…
russia already knows about DU armor, and what it can do, they just cant make it like the US can, and it goes against there doctrine of light small tanks.
