There are 23 IITs today. About 2 lakh sit for #JEE exams,16k IITians graduate.
But India Inc wants coders,quant, software lot.What about chemical/mechanical? They take extra classes;learn software & move away from their field to bag a job after #IIT

A story of two sets of IITs. The older established ones may get more recruiters but also have larger batches to place.
The new #IITs are scampering for recruiters. Some have dialled placement agencies.
