It was 20161112 3rd Muster on their 3rd Muster when V was given the microphone. It was his turn now.

"First of all, I am really happy to be here at Gocheok Dome with all the ARMYS with their ARMY bombs," he trembled looking at the sea of faces before him.

Nineteen year old Jeongguk has his eyes on him, heart pounding because the past few months had been difficult for them.

"I want to talk about something personal to all of you," he gulped with his glossy eyes. The crowd murmured with oohs and aahs but Taehyung was relentless he had to tell his story. "If I don't do it now, I don't think I will ever do it," he chuckled lightly.

"Lately people have been asking me why I feel so down and dejected," Taehyung's eyes glistened as the camera zoomed and panned on his face.

Jeongguk was biting his lips mainly because he was also the reason for Taehyung's sadness.

"My grandmother passed away recently," he quickly lowered his head and looked down at his feet.

His shoulders start to tense as he continued speaking the crowd murmuring, anticipating his every word.

"My grandmother passed away on September 3rd and when I heard about the news, I was in the Philippines," he choked a tear. "She raised me for 14 years and yes, yes, she was like a second parent to me."

Jeongguk's heart full of regret.

Jeongguk didn't know how to react or what to feel because his grandmother was the one who brought them together and he was so confused about them that he distanced himself from Taehyung for months and now, now, he regrets it because Taehyung was lost and he could have been there.

Taehyung was already holding back his tears as he glanced quickly at Jeongguk whose head was hanging low but he continued, "She was someone I could talk about my hardship, what I wanted to eat, even someone who I could just complain to."

Jeongguk crossed his arms as he started to drown in an indescribable wave of pain for Taehyung.

Taehyung removed his earpiece as he continued talking, "We got our first Music Bank award after she passed away." Taehyung put his hand on his eyes controlling the tears.

"My grandmother, she wanted to see me on TV, she wanted me to greet her on TV but I wasn't able to do so, I cannot do that anymore because she's gone." Taehyung wiped the tears from his eyes.

Jimin tried catching Jeongguk's eyes but the younger turned away.

Jeongguk wanted to reach out to Taehyung but the company was giving him orders in his earpiece to look and face Jimin but he could not out of respect for Taehyung's grandma, the one who brought him and Taehyung together.

She was the first person who noticed their love, the one they confided with and the first one who gave blessings to their relationship.

Taehyung looked at the crowd, his lips turning up a little, "I guess she's there in heaven watching me as I speak."

"I will work harder for myself and I will work harder as a member and I will work harder for ARMY. Thank you all for coming," he waved at the crowd with the rest of the members hugging him.

Taehyung looked at Jeongguk whose eyes were red with tears on his eyes.

Nineteen-year-old Jeongguk crossed his arms and gave 21 year old Taehyung an I love you sign, a language they both established just for themselves, something that they have to conceal because they are not allowed to express how they feel.
