Nearly half of all recruits at Cop City would come from out of state, APD states in a document obtained from an open records request provided to ACPC by a local community member.
Out of state recruitment is a consistent effort by APD. Earlier this year APD sent recruiting teams on three day stints to both New York and Miami.
