After the brutal beating, Tyre Nichols wasn't given aid by paramedics for 20 MINUTES, as the cops and paramedics stood around cracking jokes. Later arriving officers did nothing as well. They failed in their duty to render aid to an unresponsive person.

Tyre Nichols was stopped by an unmarked police unit called the SCORPION squad. This 50 officer undercover unit, that uses undercover vehicles, is tasked with targeting major felonies and homicides. Tyre was stopped for supposed Reckless Driving.

Tyre Nichols was an upstanding FedEx worker with a young child that had a passion for skateboarding and making skateboarding videos. He has NO criminal record and no drugs or weapons were found on him or in his car from the traffic stop.

There are RUMORS circulating that one of the Memphis PD officer's wives had slept with Tyre and the squad was looking to retaliate for this.

There is NO evidence for why a specialized squad would target Tyre for a mere driving offense with their unmarked patrol unit.

Use of force is a spectrum that keep officer's and others safe and is meant to use just enough reasonable force to get compliance OR STOP A THREAT. Reasonable as in just as needed. Someone pulls a knife you can use a gun. Someone punches, you can use an asp baton on their legs.

Not putting your hands behind your back NEVER equals punches, kicks, knee strikes or kicks to the face or asp baton strikes (especially high on the body where the head can be easily struck causing death). 5 large cops should be able to easily put ANY 150 lb man in cuffs.

Pressure points and joint locks can easily get compliance. Using OC spray and others causes everyone to get sprayed and is not supposed to be deployed EVER at point blank range as you can blind a person permanently. The fragments come out at high velocity and can shred retinas.

Regardless he was cuffed at one point AND STILL KICKED IN THE FACE. Left 20 mins without aid, left without EVEN being searched. They had NO CONCERN he had a weapon. Tyre was a man that had not struck out at them in any way. He merely ran and resisted arms behind the back.

Running doesn't equal deserving of any violence. No beating is deserved for just running. People can be legit scared and run. There are often reasonable reasons you can't get someone to put their hands behind their backs. People can't comprehend sometimes ~mental illness /drugs

Putting hands behind your back is not possible for all people. Injuries. Age. Width of shoulders. Cops even have many times we must use 2 or even 3 sets of cuffs to be able to secure hands behind a person's back. The cops didn't even try as a team and traded on and off punishing.

There was no excuse in the world for these attacks. I'm NOT hating on cops, only these cop's behavior. I am a cop and even a certified trainer in a multitude of areas and I even have multiple degrees in L.E. If you think this is all cops or acceptable behavior, you are an idiot.

BLM and Antifa will now be responsible for devastation around the country. You have to know this is ONLY because they want Anarchy and Socialism. Antifa is largely White male anarchists that just want to destroy. They both hate government, the wealthy, and all law enforcement.

I do welcome you to follow IF you have common sense. IF you don't automatically hate on cops OR automatically justify criminal cops actions with stupid excuses. IF you think this happened because "that's what you get if you don't comply" you need to unfollow or block me!

I sometimes talk about issues from a law enforcement perspective as many people don't understand how law enforcement relates to certain issues. I'm a Conservative and I follow back all patriots! Thanks.
