#krtsk #kurotsuki - warning tsukki is 18 but a few months away from graduating in this au! Might end up nsfw🤷🏻‍♀️

This was divine retribution.

Tsukishima wasn’t sure what he had done that incurred the gods wrath, maybe it was all the time he spent making fun of Yamaguchi for his
Crush on the pierced blonde who lived next to his grandpa, or teasing Yachi for keeping in contact with Kiyoko.

Maybe it was for his refusal to let anyone besides the two of them see the ‘nicer’ side of his personality. Or from just attempting to be nice at all.

Hinata had
Told them all that he was planning on going to Brazil to learn beach volleyball after high school, and that he didn’t know any Spanish, but was planning on picking the language up as he went. This was an awful plan. Absolutely terrible. Hinata could barely speak Japanese, how
Was he planning on navigating the city?

When Tsukishima brought his concerns to the redhead’s attention, Hinata had asked him if he would teach him Spanish. He had asked him, bewilderedly, how he was supposed to do that if he didn’t know the language himself, to which Hinata
Replied that French and Spanish were probably similar right?

That should’ve been his sign, that he needed to just let natural selection run it’s course with Hinata. Instead, he went against his better judgement and downloaded an app on his phone that was supposed to help him
Learn Spanish. He might not be able to teach Hinata the language, but he could review basics and also maybe help him translate things over the phone. He /liked/ learning languages, he /was/ fluent in Japanese, English, and French. What’s one more?

The issue, is that something
In his traitorous brain wasn’t picking up the lessons from the app. It focused on memorization, he liked to know the reason a word was what it was, the etymology behind it all, and the app was not scratching that part of his brain. So he looked online, found a class being
Taught at a place near enough to his part time job that he would be able to make it there after work, and no one from his volleyball team had to know the effort he was putting in to help his fellow teammate.

He didn’t even tell Yachi or Yamaguchi, and now it was a matter of
Pride. They had teased him when he mentioned his concerns for Hinata, and he would die before he let them know that he was going out of his way to help the redhead.

Which, maybe his pride was his downfall, his cause for karma to kick into action.

The class wasn’t the
Punishment - no, he thrived on the classroom setting, and the teacher was thorough with his lessons. The problem, the curse of Tsukishima’s sad existence, was the teacher.

He was thorough yes, smart and witty, handsome, always helped Tsukishima when he had a question, nice
Toned arms, easy to understand pronunciation, a grin that went ear to ear that Tsukishima often imagined what it would look like hovering over him, pressing in—no. He was getting sidetracked. The problem, was how incredibly attracted Tsukishima was to the teacher.
Now, the word teacher should be taken lightly here, Kuroo was only a few years ahead of Tsukishima age-wise, a college student helping local kids and the elderly learn a new language. But he was exactly Tsukishima’s type, and he was also incredibly flirty.

How was Tsukishima
Supposed to know if Kuroo was flirting with /him/, and not just flirting to flirt? How would he bring him up to Yamaguchi or Yachi and get their opinion? They would want to know how Tsukishima knew him, and then what he was teaching him. He couldn’t lie, make up a subject.
Nothing he could think of would be believable enough.

He knows, of course, he could just come clean but he refused to hear it from either of them. He would only tell Hinata, and only when he was confident enough that he would be able to help him.

Yes, this was a predicament
Of his own making, but the rational part of his brain flew out of the window the second he had asked Kuroo a question and Kuroo had broken out into a blinding smile, coming across the room as he explained the answer to him. When he had gotten close enough, he had leaned onto
Tsukishima’s desk, muscles flexing, close enough Tsukishima could feel his body heat as he looked at what Tsukishima had written down. If that wasn’t enough for his gay little heart to combust, he put the icing on the cake by complimenting Tsukishima’s notes. From that moment on
He knew he was fucked.

Now he was stuck in his own loop, going from 100% conviction that Kuroo was flirting with him, and then immediately going no, he’s just friendly. He needed help damnit, someone who wasn’t trapped in his brain to give him an outsider’s perspective. He
Couldn’t exactly ask the grandma who sat next to him what she thought.

He had told himself that tonight he was going to get to the bottom of it, but then he remembered that he was going to miss their Thursday class for a volleyball tournament and decided that he didn’t want
To go over the top and then miss class for a week. He didn’t want to look like a chicken if Kuroo wasn’t flirting specifically with him. So instead, he would look like a chicken to himself and only himself and not test his theory out.

When the class ends, Tsukishima waits for
The room to clear out before approaching Kuroo.

‘Kuroo-san,’ he grabs his attention.

‘Tsukishima! I told you you can drop the san, I’m not that much older than you.’ He smiles as he turns his attention to Tsukishima.

‘And I’ve told you it’s not likely to happen, Kuroo-san.
I came to tell you in advance that I would be missing the next class. I have an unavoidable club event at my school. If you have any notes or work planned, please let me know I will work on it in my free time.’

‘So studious, you know this isn’t a super formal class right?’
Kuroo chuckles to himself, and Tsukishima ignores his pulse starting to pick up at the sound. ‘What’s your email?’

‘Huh?’

‘Your email? I have the lesson plans saved, I can send them to you.’

‘Oh, of course. Let me write it down for you.’ Tsukishima grabs his notebook and
Jots his contact info down.

‘Perfect! Just know I’m only doing this for you because you’re my favorite student,’ Kuroo winks as he takes the paper from Tsukishima.

‘Weird, I could’ve sworn you said the same thing to Kino-san when you helped her with her sons letter earlier.’
He could feel the blush wanting to creep on his face from the wink so he forced himself to keep his voice monotone.

‘Tsukishima! So rude! I would never.’ Kuroo tucks the paper with his email in his bag, and brings it to his shoulder, gesturing for Tsukishima to walk out first.
‘Were you taking the train home?’

‘No, I’ll just walk through town.’ He lingers as Kuroo locks the door.

‘Bummer, I’ll have to escort myself to the station then. Enjoy your mysterious club activities, I’ll see you next week then.’

They wave as they part, and Tsukishima
Starts his walk home. He tries very hard to ignore the part of him that is rejoicing at the fact that Kuroo was going to email him the notes, providing Tsukishima with not just an inside look to the man’s brain but his email address as well. The logical part of his brain was
Pushing back, yelling that just because he had the email didn’t mean he had permission to use it, but it was drowned out by the part that had been doing backflips since Kuroo had winked at him.

He made it home and grabbed a plate of dinner from his mom before heading upstairs
To eat while he worked on his homework.

If when he had fallen asleep, he had dreamed of a feline grin and a mess of hair, of toned arms circling around him, that was his secret.

His secret he would take to the grave, next to the undignified squeak that left his mouth when he
Checked his email the following morning to see the email from Kuroo as promised. He skimmed the lesson but the only thing his brain retained was the plethora of emojis he used in the body of the email and the neatness of his plans. Tsukishima saved the email and made a mental
Note to not only look over the email in more depth before the next class, but to come up with a solid plan to figure out if he even stood a chance with Kuroo.

But first - spring tournament finals.

They had a late practice Thursday to get ready for it, and they cut Friday’s
Practice off early to be sure that everyone on the team could get a full nights rest.

They were going up against Aoba Johsai who they had a complicated past with. They had both blocked each other out of nationals far too many times to be able to predict the outcome in this
Match. Aoba Johsai was the normal favored winner but with Oikawa two years off of the team, the scales were tipped to Karasuno’s advantage.

Saturday morning rolled around and Tsukishima got the highly coveted single seat on the bus and curled up with his phone, reading a bit
Of Kuroo’s lesson, keeping an eye out for a nosy teammate.

When they got to the stadium they helped carry their bags in, leaving them with Yachi and the younger managers to take a quick walk around before they had to begin stretching. Yamaguchi wanted to go check out some of
The shirts they were selling, and since it was possibly their last match together(as he kept reminding Tsukishima), he went along with him. As Yamaguchi was making his purchase, Tsukishima leaned against a nearby wall, headphones placed solidly on his ears.

He was absorbed in
His phone, ignoring the passing crowd until Yamaguchi popped back into his eyesight. He pulled the headphones down, and they turned to head back. Out of the corner of his eye, he could’ve sworn he saw a familiar mess of black hair, and he whipped his head around to look. It must
Have been a trick of the light, or his brain deciding to see things, because there was no one who looked familiar that he could see.

‘What is it?’ Yamaguchi asked, peering around Tsukishima’s still frame.

‘Nothing, thought I saw something.’ He brushed him off, and they
Continued back to the locker rooms.

The match felt particularly uneventful, which isn’t to say it wasn’t grueling. It was a hard fought win, but at the end of the day Aoba Johsai’s team was still too new to overpower the murder of crows. The king and Hinata’s quick overpowered
Their blockers, and their spikers couldn’t get past the wall that was third year Tsukishima.

When the match ended, Tsukishima was quick to shake off the somehow still emotional messes that were his fellow third years, trying to make his way back to the lobby.

‘Seriously, we
Won. Why are you still crying?’ He clicked his tongue at Yamaguchi who was clinging to an also crying Hinata’s arm.

‘Tsukki! We get to go to nationals together one more time! Isn’t that reason enough?’ He sniffled.

‘Whatever, like it wasn’t a given. I’m going to find Kunimi
And say hello.’ He had formed a quiet friendship with the other introvert through various training camps in Miyagi, and they often caught up in matches like this.

‘Tsukki, I don’t know if I’m more emotional at you being confident we would’ve won or you making friends!’
Yamaguchi yells as he walks out of the door, getting a laugh from Hinata.

Tsukishima flips them off even though he knows they can’t see him, sending a quick text to Kunimi before pulling his headphones back on. He moseys around the lobby, looking at some of the knickknacks
They’re selling. When his phone buzzes with a message from Kunimi stating he’d be on his way out in a minute, he walked away from the crowd to lean against the wall.

He isn’t there for more than a minute when his fellow third years all come barreling up to him.

‘Hey! We’re
Trying to decide where to go eat after this but we can’t decide, we need you to be the tie-breaker!’ Hinata shouts.

‘How can you need a tie-breaker? There’s three of you?’

‘Cause we all named somewhere different.’ Kageyama replied.

‘Go ask Yachi.’

‘We tried,’ Yamaguchi
Grimaces. ‘We didn’t tell her the places we picked cause we didn’t want her to feel pressured but she named something completely different and then when we told her she got flustered so we told her we’d make you pick.’

Tsukishima sighs, rolling his eyes. Before he can answer
Though, the skies open up to curse him once again.

‘Tsukishima! I thought that was you I saw earlier! Why didn’t you tell me you played volleyball?’

Oh no, he’d recognize that voice anywhere. Even if normally in his dreams, it was speaking Spanish and saying things he
Wouldn’t shout across a lobby full of people. Tsukishima’s eyes widened and he looked up to see Kuroo waving his hands, smiling as he walked over. He froze, his plan falling down around him. Oh god they were going to find out he was doing something nice for Hinata. Kuroo made it
Across the lobby in what felt like record time, stopping in front of them all. If he was put off from the weird stares he was getting from the rest of Karasuno he didn’t say anything, although from the way his eyes seemed to be glued to Tsukishima, he might not have noticed.
‘Kuroo-san,’ Tsukishima manages to choke out a greeting.

‘Who are you?’ Hinata asks, ever eloquent.

‘Oh! I’m Kuroo, I’m-‘

Before he could reveal his true relationship to Tsukishima, Tsukishima panics and slaps his hand over Kuroo’s mouth.

‘He’s a friend of a friend, bye.’
He gives Kuroo no time to react, removing his hand long enough to shove him away from the curious people he called teammates.

‘Tsukki! You didn’t pick a place!’ Yamaguchi calls out after him and Tsukishima curses at the way Kuroo’s eyes light up at the nickname.

‘I pick
Wherever Yachi picked.’ He yells over his shoulder, hurrying Kuroo along until they’re far enough away from where Hinata and Kageyama were groaning in defeat. When the realization of what he did sets in, he yanks his hands off of Kuroo, face flushing.

‘So tsu-kki,’ Kuroo
Teases, stressing the syllables of the nickname. ‘Mind telling me what that was about?’

Tsukishima scowls, which just makes Kuroo grin harder.

‘Forget you heard that nickname. What are you doing here?’

‘Nuh uh, I asked you a question first!’

‘They don’t know I’m taking
Your class and I’m not particularly in the mood for them to find out.’ Tsukishima clicked tongue, looking behind them to double check they weren’t followed.

‘Um. Why? Didn’t you say you were taking it to help out someone from your club?’ Kuroo asks slowly, looking confused.
‘Yes? And?’

‘And are they not also from your club? Is it like a surprise or something?’

‘No. I mean yes they’re from my club, it’s the tiny redhead who’s going to Brazil, but no it’s not a surprise.’

‘Okay, I’m more confused now than before you started explaining it.’
‘It’s simple. I’m learning Spanish to help Hinata but they can’t know I’m learning Spanish to help Hinata. I’ll never hear the end of it.’

‘What, do you like have a crush on him or something?’ Kuroo asks, scratching his head still looking confused.

‘Disgusting,’ Tsukishima
Hisses. ‘That’s the worst thing you’ve ever said to me.’

‘What, cause he’s a dude?’ Kuroo sounds defensive now, and Tsukishima knows he’s bungling this conversation.

‘No, I’m very gay. Super gay. Disgusting because it’s Hinata.’

‘Oh.’

‘Wait I’m not like /super/ gay like
In a weird way.’ He backtracks, unable to stop the word vomit. ‘Just a totally normal amount of gay.’

‘That’s good, I’m a totally normal amount of gay too.’ Kuroo’s smiling now, even though Tsukishima is sure he looks like a mad man. ‘But maybe I’m a dumb gay cause I still don’t
See why they can’t know you’re taking my class?’

‘They can’t know I’m nice!’ Tsukishima finally blurts out, hands in the air. ‘I’ve worked hard to craft a scary persona, if they know I’m genuinely concerned for the idiot, I’ll lose all hierarchy!’

Kuroo bursts out laughing at
That, a loud hyena sounding laugh that startles Tsukishima.

‘Oh my god, you’re too much. That’s the most absurd thing I’ve ever heard, and I tried to teach my friend Bo Spanish once.’ He’s wiping tears away from his eyes as Tsukishima bristles.

‘Yeah yeah, my crisis is a
Real riot. Your turn now, why are you here?’ He pokes Kuroo in the chest.

‘A friend of mine used to play on Aoba Johsai, we came to cheer them on. If I would’ve known you were the opponent I would’ve switched sides! Which brings me back to why didn’t you tell me you played
Volleyball? I was a middle blocker too! We could’ve been sharing tips and tricks this whole time,’ he laments.

‘If you tell me your friend is Oikawa and he’s here, I’m leaving. I do not need to be around for the king’s dramatics if he sees him. And I didn’t know it was
Relevant. You didn’t tell me you played volleyball either.’

‘Nah, it’s Iwaizumi. You know the two of them though? And no but you always just said club, I assumed it was like debate club or something.’

‘We played against them in my first year. They beat us, then we beat them.
Debate club? Do I not look like an athlete?’ He questions, relaxing a bit as the conversation calms down.

‘No, you definitely do.’ He gives Tsukishima a once over, undoing any relaxation he had started to feel as heat coursed through him at the look. ‘You just normally have
100 layers on.’

‘The room is normally cold,’ he shoots back. His phone rings and he looks down to see Kunimi’s name. He contemplates not answering it, choosing to talk to Kuroo instead, but scolds himself into picking up. ‘Excuse me, one second.’

Kuroo nods, pulling out his
Own phone to fire off what appears to be a long string of texts.

‘Kunimi,’ he answers.

‘Hey. I have to bail. I’m being distracted by Iwaizumi’s chest. I’ll text you soon, we’ll grab coffee.’

‘Pathetic,’ he clicks his tongue, secretly glad he might have a few more minutes
To talk to Kuroo. He hangs up the phone and Kuroo looks up as he puts it in his pocket.

‘Everything okay?’ Kuroo asks.

‘Yeah, it seems my friend is too caught up in staring at your friends chest to come say hi.’ He shrugs.

‘You’re friends with someone from Aoba Johsai?’ He
raises his eyebrows.

‘Keep up, I already told you we play them a lot.’

‘Yeah but I didn’t think you were all on friendly terms with teams you crush into the ground.’

‘Please, we don’t crush them. Me and him have just done enough training camps together, quiet people flock
together at those.’ He rolls his eyes.

‘I didn’t know Karasuno and Aoba Johsai did training camps together? Iwa knew a lot about your play style, but it didn’t sound like it came from up close experience?’ Kuroo asks, leaning back casually against the wall.

‘We didn’t. Kunimi
And I were both invited to one at Shiratorizawa our first and second year.’ Tsukishima wishes they were on opposite sides so he could be the one leaning back, looking suave. Instead he knew he was probably fidgeting, unable to stop the nervous tick of playing with his fingers as
The conversation went on.

‘Tsukki! You’re holding out on me? I could tell you were a scary blocker just from watching you today, but a training camp at Shiratorizawa! What’s next, you’re going to tell me you kill blocked Ushijima?’

‘Um yes? It was just once though.’

Kuroo
Faked a gasp, holding his hand to his chest.

‘Tsukishima. We are seriously going to talk about your communication. Tell me you have it on tape, I need to see it.’

‘Maybe? My mom might still have it at home, I don’t exactly carry old tapes of me around?’ He replies.

‘You
Should find it and then bring it to class Tuesday. We can stay after and watch it.’

‘Um okay?’ He blinks a bit, feeling a bit nauseous at the implications of staying after with Kuroo. Just the two of them, alone in the room. Before his brain can go too far down that route
In public, he hears Hinata screaming his name in the background. ‘I should probably go.’

‘Ah yeah, don’t wanna keep your friend waiting.’

‘Ew he’s not my friend.’ He frowns.

‘Sure, sure. Hey! I’ll email you my number, text me if you want?’ Kuroo asks as he starts to walk
Away.

‘Oh um. Okay?’ Oh no, Tsukishima is going to die in this gymnasium. Is this flirting? Is he asking him to text him because he’s flirting? Does he want to watch volleyball tapes together like /romantically/?

He walks away in a bit of a daze, ignorant to Yamaguchi who
Was standing nearby with a confused look on his face.

They do end up going to the restaurant Yachi picked after reassuring her they they were only going cause Tsukishima picked it so if it sucked, it was on him, not her. The food was good though, and they all stuffed themselves
Full. They climbed in the bus to head back, Yamaguchi pulling Tsukishima to a double set of seats before he could run to the single.

‘Soo,’ the green haired captain began, looking innocently at the first years squabbling over who got to sit next to who.

‘So?’ Tsukishima
Replies, warily. He’s known Yamaguchi too long to trust the innocent act.

‘Who’s Kuroo-san?’

Tsukishima flinches.

‘A friend of a -‘

‘Liar.’

‘What am I not allowed to have friends now?’ He shoots back, not missing a beat.

‘He was not looking at you like a friend,
Tsukki.’

‘So you agree, he was flirting with me?’

‘I’m not agreeing to anything until you tell me how you met this mystery man!’

‘It’s not a big deal,’ he groans, sliding down in his seat. ‘I’m taking a class for fun, and he’s there.’

‘A class? What class? Why didn’t you
Tell me?’ Yamaguchi presses.

‘Just. It’s just a class.’

‘What is it like a pole dancing class or something?’

‘No, will you shut up!’ He hisses, feeling his ears go red. ‘I’m not taking a pole dancing class!’

‘Oh. You should. Oh Tsukki! We should totally do that this
Summer. Wait stop distracting me, what class?’

‘A language class okay, can we go back to talking about whether or not you think he was flirting with me because that is a topic I would like to discuss.’

‘Tsukishima. Are you,’ he trails off, looking around before leaning in and
Whispering. ‘Are you taking a Spanish class?’

‘Shh shut up. I don’t wanna hear it.’ Tsukishima confirms, pulling his hood further over his head as Yamaguchi breaks into peals of laughter.

‘Aw, Tsukki, what a nice friend.’

‘That’s it, I’m quitting the team.’

‘Oh stop. Your
Secret is safe with me. You are going to tell Hinata eventually right?’

‘If I get to a point where I think I can help him, I’m considering it. Now seriously, I need your help. Am I overthinking this?’ He breaks into a short but sweet description of his encounters with Kuroo,
Showing Yamaguchi the email with the notes and the follow up email that came in a few minutes ago with Kuroo’s number and a message that just reads ‘text me tsukki 😉☺️’.

‘I mean, without knowing him as a person this all sounds like flirting. Wait why did he send you lesson
Plans again, is he close with the teacher?’ Yamaguchi ponders.

‘No. He is the teacher.’ Yamaguchi gasps, sounding scandalized. ‘Stop, he’s like two years older than me and it’s more like a tutor than anything. He does it for like fun.’

‘A forbidden student teacher
Relationship, so scandalous. We can always ask the other two what they think?’

‘Absolutely not. No one is to know about this besides you. And maybe Yachi.’

‘Sure, Tsukki. Whatever you say.’ Yamaguchi allows him to pull on his headphones for the rest of the trip. He saves
Kuroo’s number in his phone and spends an unhealthy amount of time drafting a hello message. He’s retyped and erased ‘hi, hello, it’s Tsukishima’ more times than he can count before Yamaguchi takes pity on him and snatches his phone out of his hands. He yelps and tries to grab
It back, but his menace of a best friend is quicker than him and has already fired off a text.

‘There. It just says ‘hello, this is Tsukishima’ so calm down. Oh look, he replied already!’ He brandishes Tsukishima’s phone to show off a new message from Kuroo. Tsukishima flips
A giggling Yamaguchi off before snatching his phone back to read the message.

‘Tsukkiiii I’m glad you text me 🥹now I can bother you 24/7’

He ignores his heart palpitations and tries to draft a response back but they arrive at the school before he can think of what to say.
They all have to help unload the bus, and then go straight into a post game meeting where it takes all of Tsukishima’s will power to focus and not think about the unanswered message on his phone. When the meeting ends, he grabs his bag and darts to the bathroom to reply in peace.
After matches the first years normally crash at his or Yamaguchi’s place after they realized exactly how far Hinata was riding his bike back home, and he knew he wasn’t about to have a single second to himself for the rest of the night.

‘It’s Tsukishima. You forgot half of my
Name. And I’m going to be spending most of the night surrounded by two of the most annoying people I know, you can try your best but I doubt you’ll top them on the scale of annoyances.’

He doesn’t have time to think about how he has no idea how to be flirty over text before
Hinata is pounding on the door asking if he’s ready to leave. He sighs, grabs his bag and heads out. He feels his phone buzz a few times in his pocket but waits until they’re walking home to look at it.

‘Aw you don’t think I’m annoying? 🥺🥺 lol jk have fun tonight don’t do
Anything I wouldn’t. Oh yeah don’t forget to ask your mom for that tape for Tuesday!’

‘How would I know what you would or wouldn’t do? And texting her now, dw’ he replies, trying to quell the smile on his face before anyone notices.

Once they reach Yamaguchi’s, he’s replied
To Kuroo a few more times, keeping the conversation light. Yamaguchi’s mom has already laid their beds out for them, and despite everyone talking about staying up late playing games, they all crash the second their heads hit their pillows.

He wakes up in the morning to a string
Of texts from Kuroo. The first few were replies to him, then a few memes, and then when he didn’t get a reply he must have realized Tsukishima had fallen asleep because he sent a message telling him goodnight and sweet dreams. Tsukishima was glad he was the first one up so no one
Else could see the blush on his cheeks.

‘Who are you texting so early in the morning?’ He jumps at Yachi’s voice, cursing and sending his phone clattering to the ground.

‘Jesus Yachi, warn someone will you? Why are you up so early?’ He looked over to see her curled on the
Couch with a cup of tea in her hands.

‘I couldn’t fall back asleep.’ She shrugged, patting the couch next to her. Tsukishima untangled himself from the blankets and Hinata’s leg, which had found its way to sprawl across Tsukishima’s calves while he slept, and joined her on the
Couch.

‘Now, who are you texting this early in the morning? Kuroo-san?’ She asks. He freezes, unsure how Yachi knows about Kuroo. ‘Please, you and Tadashi are not quiet. You’re lucky the other two were arguing about who scored more points this year.’

Tsukishima groans,
Flopping down on the couch so his head is in her lap. She giggles, hand immediately beginning to run her fingers through his hair.

‘For you information, I didn’t text anything this morning. I was just reading his messages from last night.’ He pouts, content to lay there until
The others start to move.

The rest of the day goes by rather uneventfully. After breakfast he leaves to head home, sending Kuroo a screenshot of his mothers positive reply about the tape.

‘Guess I’ll bring it Tuesday,’ he texts.

‘Hell yeah it’s a date 😎 I’ll make sure to
Borrow the tv and bring snacks. Any requests?’

Tsukishima tells his mom his face is red from the wind as he runs upstairs. He sends a screen shot of Kuroo’s message to a group chat with Yamaguchi and Yachi, along with 10 skull emojis. He ignores the messages pouring in from
The group chat and puts his phone in his desk drawer so he can focus on his homework. He manages to ignore it until he’s finished everything but one assignment, when he cracks. He pulls out his phone and ignores the few memes Kuroo has sent him to reply.

‘Idk something
Strawberry.’

‘Strawberry🥺😳🥺 tsukki that’s so cute. Also don’t ignore my memes😤’

‘Send something worth not ignoring then.’

‘Challenge accepted 😎’

He realizes his mistake when his phone begins to buzz so consistently it almost sounds like it’s ringing. He pulls up his
Screen to see Kuroo spamming him with memes, and while he does laugh at some of them he doesn’t react to the texts. His mom calls him for dinner, so he texts back.

‘Hm. I’m going downstairs for dinner, please don’t kill my battery while I eat.’

He waits for Kuroo’s reply
Before tossing his phone on his bed and heading downstairs.

Monday rolls around, bringing the responsibility of the week with it. Besides a few messages bemoaning classwork, him and Kuroo don’t talk much. By the time practice ends on Tuesday, Tsukishima is a ball of nerves.
Yamaguchi and Yachi wish him luck as he heads to the Spanish class, his bag feeling 100 pounds heavier with the tape in it. He gets there early, and is setting up his desk when Kuroo walks in.

When Kuroo walks past him, he grasps his shoulder for a few seconds, hand scorching
Tsukishima’s arm, smiling down at him.

‘Oya Tsukki. Bring it with you?’ He removes his hand, and Tsukishima instantly misses the feeling of it.

‘Tsukishima. And yeah, it’s in my bag.’

‘Excellent. After class!’ He shakes his own bag, assumably holding the snacks he had
Talked about.

To say Tsukishima missed half of the lesson would be an understatement. He couldn’t focus on much besides the nerves of spending time one on one with Kuroo. He tried to distract himself by watching Kuroo talk but he found himself staring at his lips more than he
Was doing anything else. He snapped his eyes back to his notebook, willing himself to make it through the rest of the time.

He did, and he packed his bag slowly as the rest of the people filtered out. When it was just the two of them Kuroo turned his blinding grin back to
Tsukishima. Tsukishima wordlessly handed him the tape, leaving his bag at the desk and following Kuroo to where he was dragging out the ancient tv.

‘Okay, not the most ideal set up for a picnic but here, you can have the swively chair.’ He pulled out the rolling desk chair,
Gesturing to it as Tsukishima rolled his eyes and sat down. Once the tape was in, Kuroo grabbed his own bag, dumping a pile of snacks on the table. He grabbed a few pink packages, setting them down in front of Tsukishima. ‘Strawberry, as requested.’

He pulled up another chair,
Swinging it around until he was sitting in it backwards, ignoring Tsukishima’s snort.

‘You would sit like that. Were you a delinquent in high school?’

‘Hey! I’ll have you know I was a straight A student.’ He stuck out his tongue before hitting play.

It was weird, watching
An older match of his. Weirder even, watching it with Kuroo. Two years later, he noticed more than he did at the time and was quick to point out his mistakes. Kuroo frowned when he did.

‘Tsukki, dude you were a first year. Obviously you know more now. I can tell from watching
This you’re a really skilled blocker. Even if I hadn’t seen you play recently I could tell you would be amazing today.’

Tsukishima didn’t know how to reply so he just turned his attention back to the screen. They were almost to the kill block, and Kuroo could sense it too.
‘Ooh I see what you’re doing here. Damn, you had this much game sense as a first year? I’m almost glad we never played each other.’

‘Almost?’

‘Yeah, I would’ve loved to be on the opposite side of the net from you.’ He grins when he says it, eyes never leaving the screen.
‘I take it you don’t play anymore?’

‘Only for fun now. What about you? You have plans to play once you’re out of high school?’

Tsukishima just shrugs, knowing he’s had a few conversations with some division two teams but not wanting to mention it before it’s a sure thing. He
Only realizes he’s been watching Kuroo instead of the screen when past him blocks Ushijima, and Kuroo starts to cheer.

‘Oof you’re a gross blocker, Tsukki! I need a tape of all of your best plays, like now.’ He turns to make eye contact with Tsukishima, who scoffs and looks
Away.

‘I don’t think there is such a thing.’

‘I’ll find it, I swear.’ Kuroo teases, looking back at the screen. They watch the rest of the game, and then Kuroo messes around with the tv, trying to find a signal of some sort. He finally picks up some old tv show that’s playing
In black and white, and when he settles back in his chair, he’s closer to Tsukishima than he was before, their knees brushing together.

Tsukishima zones out for a few minutes while Kuroo pretends to watch the show. He keeps glancing at Tsukishima though, eyes flickering to
Tsukishima’s lips. Tsukishima stands to grab his water bottle from his desk and when he sits back down, he decides to be a little bolder than normal, and sits even closer than before. Kuroo, still backwards in his chair, the arm closest to Tsukishima leaned back against the desk,
Has his body angled towards him even further.

Tsukishima, seized by a side he didn’t know he had, decides he’s had enough of the waiting game and leans in, pressing his lips to Kuroo’s. Kuroo’s lips are warm, soft, unmoving - oh shit, unmoving. He reels backwards, chair rolling
With him.

‘Shit. Shit sorry, I’m sorry.’ He stutters out. Oh he had fucked this up, curse Yamaguchi for telling him he was being flirted with. Now he would have to quit the class and never show his face near here again.

‘Tsukki,’ Kuroo starts, sounding pained. Tsukishima
Snaps his eyes to his, unable to read the expression on his face.

‘I read it wrong, I’m sorry. I’ll go.’ He’s trying to maintain a cool demeanor but he knows the second his adrenaline fades out he’s going to start crying, and he would like to be far away from Kuroo before then.
He moves to stand but Kuroo catches him by the wrist before he can walk away.

‘Please, Tsukki. You didn’t read it wrong.’

‘Really? Cause you’re not exactly giving off vibes of a man who wanted me to kiss him now.’

‘I do! I want you to kiss me. I just. I can’t.’

‘What,
Don’t tell me you have a partner already? Why can’t you?’ He feels himself getting upset, can feel his fingers beginning to shake at the dread setting in his chest.

‘No! There’s no one else. But I’m like your teacher, I can’t kiss you.’ Kuroo argues, waving the hand that isn’t
Holding Tsukishima’s wrist in the air.

‘You’re barely older than me, you idiot.’ Tsukishima hisses, snapping his hand away. ‘This isn’t even an official setting!’

‘You’re like paying me to teach you Spanish! I can’t take your money and then kiss you!’ Kuroo follows him as he
Stalks back to his desk.

‘I’ll quit the class,’ Tsukishima counters.

‘No!’

‘You can’t have it both ways, Kuroo. You can’t bring me here after flirting with me all weekend, and..and seduce me with mini strawberry donuts and then back out when I make a move!’ He hisses,
Jabbing his finger into Kuroo’s chest as he yells.

‘I know, I know! I just don’t want you to feel pressured or anything.’ Kuroo grabs the finger that was jabbing him, sliding down until he can thread their fingers together.

‘I don’t feel pressured?’ Tsukishima rolls his eyes.
‘I know you don’t know me super well but I would think you knew me well enough to know I don’t do things I don’t want to.’

‘I should, you’re right. I just really like you Tsukki, I don’t want to mess this up.’ Kuroo admits.

‘If you don’t want to mess this up, then you kiss me
This time.’ Tsukishima challenges.

Kuroo steps closer, obliging Tsukishima’s request and pressing his lips against Tsukishima’s. It’s a much better kiss from the first one, partly because the angle is better, partly because they are both willing participants. Kuroo uses his
Free hand to cup Tsukishima’s cheek, tilting his head slightly to deepen the kiss. Tsukishima feels himself let out a noise too similar to a whimper for his liking, and he would break away as a punishment for himself but the sound spurs Kuroo on.

The hand on his face slides to
The back of his neck, holding Tsukishima in place as Kuroo devours him. His tongue licks along Tsukishima’s lips and he parts them with a groan, bringing his own hands up to grip Kuroo by the waist, pulling him closer and closer.

Eventually they have to break apart to breathe,
Staying in each other’s embrace as they both catch their breath.

‘The janitor is going to come soon, we should clean up and head out.’ Kuroo says, reluctantly pulling away.

‘Too early for me to ask if you’ll take me back to your place?’ Tsukishima asks.

‘Tsukki! I don’t
Bring boys home until at least the fourth date.’ Kuroo teases, and they both move to grab their stuff. The room is back in the same state they found it in tonight. They walk out together, similar to last time, but this time Kuroo has his hand wrapped firmly around Tsukishima’s.
‘So..’ he trails off.

‘So?’ Tsukishima sighs.

‘Should we talk about this? Like, what do you want this to be?’

‘Do we have to?’ Tsukishima groans.

‘Yes, yes we do.’

‘Ugh. Tell me what you want first.’

‘Okay, I want you. I want to take you on dates, and cheer for you
In your matches.’ Kuroo admits, bumping his shoulder into Tsukishima’s. ‘But I’ll take whatever you’re willing to give me.’

‘Don’t sell yourself short like that,’ Tsukishima clicks his tongue. ‘I’d like that too. Well, maybe not the you watching me play bit.’

‘Okay. Will I
See you Thursday?’

‘Yeah. Kuroo?’

‘Hm?’

‘You know I’m about to be real busy with prepping for nationals, that isn’t a deal breaker is it?’

‘Nah, tell me when they are and maybe I’ll come watch a few matches.’

They slow to a stop, reaching the part in the road where
Kuroo heads to the train station and Tsukishima keeps going on his own. They linger for a few minutes, holding hands the entire time before Tsukishima presses a quick goodnight kiss to Kuroo’s lips, waving goodbye and walking away. He ignores the heat he feels in his veins
and on his face, grabbing his phone out to send a text.

‘He was, in fact, flirting with me.’

He puts it in the group chat with Yamaguchi and Yachi, before silencing the messages.

Once he’s home and curled in bed, his phone buzzes with a text from Kuroo.

‘Hi! Hope you made
It home safe. It’s still okay that I text you right?’

‘No I just told you I liked you and made out with you but you’re not allowed to text me 🙄’

‘Why do I feel like that’s the only emoji you ever use?’

‘I use 🖕 a lot too’

Tsukishima pulls the blankets tighter around
Himself and ends up texting Kuroo until he falls asleep.

He wakes up and can feel his cock throbbing in his pants. He debates leaving it, ignoring it until it goes down, but then his mind flashes back to last night. It had been fairly pg, but god Kuroo had felt good pressed up
Against him. His body was solid, clearly still in shape from his volleyball days. He slowly slips his hand down the front of his shorts, moaning as he palms himself. He wonders what Kuroo’s hand would feel like, would it be rough or soft. Would he tease him, take him to the
Brink only to pull back? He seemed like the type.

He wrapped his hand around himself more firmly, the speed of his strokes increasing as he imagined what Kuroo’s mouth would feel like instead of his hand. He comes with a quiet moan, Kuroo’s name on the tip of his tongue. Almost
As if he knew exactly what Tsukishima was doing, a few moments later Kuroo texts him good morning. Tsukishima groans, moving to the shower to clean himself off before he has to leave.

He spends his day dodging Yamaguchi and Yachi until they corner him before lunch, threatening
To tell the team about his class if he doesn’t tell them what happened. He gives them a shortened version of the events, but shrugs when Yamaguchi asks if they’re official.

‘I don’t think we said. I’ll have to ask tomorrow.’

‘Our Tsukki is so grown up,’ Yachi fakes wiping a
Tear from her eye, grinning. ‘When do we get to meet this Kuroo of yours?’

‘Yachi, he’s almost as tall as me. You’ll be too scared of him to meet him.’ Tsukishima teases, laughing when Yamaguchi agrees with him.

By the time the class on Thursday rolls around, he’s exchanged
More than a few messages with Kuroo. He gets there after Kuroo this time, and after returning his smile, sets about getting ready for the lesson. After, he lingers behind again.

‘Hi,’ Kuroo says when the room has cleared out, leaning down to kiss him. Tsukishima replies by
Tilting his head to deepen the kiss.

‘We gotta leave early, they’re deep cleaning the building tonight. Want to grab a snack on the way home?’ Kuroo asks in between kisses.

‘I suppose that would be fine.’ Tsukishima pushes him away so they can both pack their things away. ‘I
Know a good bakery just around the corner that’s open late, unless you don’t want dessert?’

‘No, dessert’s fine. Lead the way.’

Kuroo follows him, waiting until they’re out of the building to reach out and grab Tsukishima’s hand. They hold hands until they reach the counter,
Tsukishima ordering a slice of strawberry cheesecake before looking at Kuroo. He orders a couple different cookies and then before Tsukishima can pay he slaps his card down.

‘Rude, I was going to get it.’ Tsukishima clicks his tongue.

‘Yeah but if /I/ get it, we can count
This as a date.’ Kuroo takes his card back and grabs their desserts, heading to a cozy table in the corner of the place.

‘What? I can’t pay for a date?’

‘Not our first official one!’ Kuroo protests, digging in to his food.

‘Speaking of official, my friends are demanding to
Know what our ‘status’ is,’ he says, using air quotes around the word status. ‘I know we talked about what we wanted but I don’t think we ever labeled anything.’

‘Oh. I’ve been calling you my boyfriend the last two days, did I jump the gun?’ Kuroo pauses, a cookie halfway to
His mouth.

‘I mean, it might’ve helped to ask me first.’ Tsukishima laughs quietly, taking pity on Kuroo when he flinches. ‘If it’s any consolation I would’ve said yes two days ago.’

‘Okay! Tsukishima, will you officially be my boyfriend?’ Kuroo asks, standing up
Dramatically as he asks.

‘Yes, but only if you sit down you weirdo,’ he hisses.

‘Cool, cool. Hey are nationals this weekend?’

‘No, they’re not for another week or so. The Tokyo schools have to play their 700 rounds of matches.’

‘Would you wanna maybe go out this
Saturday? Like a full on date?’ Kuroo asks.

‘I have morning practice but if it was something in the afternoon, sure.’

They finish eating, and Kuroo promises to work out all of the details and text him them tomorrow. They leave the cafe, holding hands again as they walk
Towards the train station. Tsukishima promises to text when he’s home and they part with a kiss.

Saturday comes before Tsukishima can blink, and as soon as practice is done, he’s rushing to the locker room to change. They had ran over slightly so he was hurrying, and when he
Finished changing Hinata and Yamaguchi were walking into the locker room.

‘Ooh where are you going dressed all fancy. Did I forget something?’ Hinata starts to panic, looking around like the walls would hold an answer.

‘First of all, I’m literally just wearing jeans and a
Sweater, stop acting like you only see me in sports gear. Sorry I have a sense of fashion. Second of all, none of your business. Third of all, Yamaguchi, can you bring my bag to your house? I was going to drop it off at home but I don’t think I have time.’

‘Sure Tsukki! Have
Fun on your date!’ He smiles, pretending like he didn’t just ruin Tsukishima’s life.

‘Date??? Who is stingy-shima going on a date with?’ Hinata starts babbling, cutting off Tsukishima’s exit.

‘I repeat point two from before: none of your business. Move,’ he elbows past the
Ball of sunshine, sending a glare to Yamaguchi as he leaves. Yamaguchi just waves, smiling still.

The date itself is one of the better ones Tsukishima has been on. Kuroo takes him to a special event the local museum is having, showcasing a local artist they both liked, and then
They stopped to grab something for dinner.

After dinner they went to a nearby park, where pushing each other on the swings became a competition, until they compromised and declared themselves joint winners, and ended up making out on the swing set, Kuroo standing between
Tsukishima’s legs as he sat.

‘So, you said you don’t take boys home til after the fourth date. What about letting them take you home?’ Tsukishima asked as he broke away from the kiss.

‘I don’t know, Tsukki.’ Kuroo frowns. ‘I don’t want you to think I’m moving too fast.’

‘If
I thought you were moving too fast, I wouldn’t have invited you over. We don’t have to do anything if you don’t want to, but it would be nice to make out somewhere there isn’t a chance of a toddler staring at us.’

‘Won’t your parents mind?’ Kuroo chews on his lip, mulling over
His decision.

‘My mom’s out for work, won’t be back until Monday. It’s just the two of us.’

‘Convenient. I’d almost say this was planned on your part,’ Kuroo steps back, raising his eyebrows.

‘Nope. Just taking advantage of the hand I’m dealt.’

‘Fine. Let’s go.’ Kuroo
Pulls Tsukishima off of the swings and they begin the short walk back to his house. They barely shut the door when Tsukishima pulls Kuroo I to another kiss.

‘Impatient, christ Tsukki, let a man take off his shoes,’ Kuroo kicks his shoes off, following where Tsukishima is
Heading up the stairs. They enter his bedroom and Tsukishima waves one arm around the room.

‘This is my bedroom, wow so nice, most importantly, this is my bed.’ He sits down, scooting back to leave room for Kuroo. Kuroo takes a few minutes to take in the room, looking on his
Shelves before turning his attention back to Tsukishima.

‘Nice room, I especially like the dinosaurs. Very cute.’ He grins as Tsukishima blushes.

‘Shut up, kiss me.’ He demands. Kuroo crawls in the bed next to him, gently connecting their lips. It doesn’t take long for
Tsukishima to lean back on the bed, pulling Kuroo with him. Kuroo puts one hand on either side of Tsukishima’s head, the new angle pressing their bodies closer together. When Kuroo’s slowly growing bulge presses against Tsukishima’s, he turns his head to gasp, gasp turning to a
Moan as Kuroo rolls his hips experimentally.

‘Tsukki,’ he whispers, pressing kisses down the outstretched side of Tsukishima’s neck. ‘You gotta tell me how far you wanna take this.’

‘You want words when you’re doing that to me?’ He grits out, hips twitching unconsciously as
Kuroo scrapes his teeth along where he was just kissing.

‘Want me to stop?’ Kuroo pulls back, eyes twinkling.

‘I’ll kill you,’ Tsukishima threatens, propping himself up on his elbows to kiss Kuroo once more. ‘You’re not fucking me yet, but I kinda wanna blow you.’

Kuroo
Lets out a mangled sound at that, huffing laughter against Tsukishima’s lips.

‘You’re going to be the death of me.’ Kuroo shakes his head and uses his body weight to press Tsukishima back into the mattress.

They kiss for a few more minutes, both of them pulling off the
Others shirt, Tsukishima whining at the skin to skin contact.

‘God, the sounds you make are going to fuel my wet dreams for years,’ Kuroo laughs, tugging at Tsukishima’s zipper with a question in his eye.

‘Gross, pervert.’ Tsukishima teases, raising his hips so Kuroo can
Slide his jeans off. He tugs at Kuroo’s waistband until he pulls his jeans off as well, leaving them both in just their underwear. This time, when Kuroo leans down to kiss him, their lengths press together with just two flimsy layers of fabric separating them. Tsukishima gasps,
Hips jerking at the contact.

Kuroo starts to kiss a trail down Tsukishima’s chest. He sucks a bruise into Tsukishima’s collarbone that he’s not sure how he’s explaining at the next practice, before reaching a hand up to thumb at Tsukishima’s nipple. His gasp turns to a moan as
Kuroo takes the other one into his mouth briefly, winking up at Tsukishima as he does so.

‘These too?’ Kuroo asks, toying with Tsukishima’s underwear.

‘Please,’ Tsukishima lifts his hips again. Kuroo obliges, pulling them down and off.

‘Fuck, you’re gorgeous,’ he groans as
He takes in the sight of Tsukishima below him, flushed down to the tip of his cock, which is dripping precum, smearing along Tsukishima’s stomach. He drops lower on the bed, pressing a kiss to each of Tsukishima’s inner thighs before slowly, carefully, moving back up to lick the
Precum off of his stomach. Tsukishima’s breath hitches as Kuroo’s warm breath hits his sensitive cock.

‘Fuck, Kuroo.’ He pleads as Kuroo goes back to sucking marks into his thighs, completely ignoring his dick.

‘Hmm? Did you want something?’ The look Kuroo gives him can
Only be described as sleazy, but it just helps the arousal coursing through Tsukishima’s veins. He knows what Kuroo wants, he wants him to beg for it, but he’s not that easy.

‘If you don’t touch my dick in the next 30 seconds I’m going to assume it’s because you don’t know what
You’re doing, and I’ll take care of myself.’

His sentence causes Kuroo to laugh, but he acquises and brings his hand up to to lay flat on Tsukishima’s cock, pressing down just enough to relieve some of the pressure. Tsukishima lets out a shaky exhale, hips canting into the
Press of his hand.

‘And how would you do that? Just jerk off while I’m sitting right here?’ Kuroo’s voice is heavy with lust, and it might be the best sound Tsukishima has ever heard.

‘If you weren’t going to do it, maybe.’ His nonchalant tone is ruined when Kuroo smirks,
And then ducks his head to lick a solid stripe from the base of his dick to the tip, swirling around the head briefly.

‘I mean, that’s an idea for next time. You can jerk off, come on my face?’ Kuroo suggests.

‘Next time,’ Tsukishima agrees though his words are shaky,
Breaking off into a moan as Kuroo finally takes him into his mouth. His mouth is wet and warm around him, better than Tsukishima had imagined the other morning. He bobs his head at a steady pace, sliding one hand up and down Tsukishima’s thigh, nails pressing in ever so lightly
On the path down. His other hand comes up to grip around the base of Tsukishima’s cock, applying just enough pressure to cause Tsukishima to see stars, vision blurring as he moves closer to the edge. Kuroo slides off with a pop, his hand taking over the up and down motion as he
Lowers his head even further, mouthing around Tsukishima’s balls.

Tsukishima can’t stop the sounds from coming out, he knows he must sound desperate, switching from breathy whines to full out moans.

‘You can still come on my face this time. Or did you wanna come in my
Mouth?’ Tetsu asks, pausing only long enough to ask the question.

‘Your mouth, please Kuroo,’ Tsukishima finally begs.

Kuroo hums, moving his mouth back to Tsukishima’s dick. It only takes a few more bobs before Tsukishima comes with a shout, cursing as his body spasms, one
Hand coming to hold Kuroo’s head in place. Kuroo works him through it until he becomes too sensitive, tugging on Kuroo’s hair until he pulls off. Kuroo sticks his tongue out, showing he swallowed, laughing as Tsukishima kicks him. He flips down next to Tsukishima, letting him
Gather his senses.

‘I thought I said I wanted to blow you, not the other way around.’ Tsukishima says when he feels like he can talk.

‘Hey, the night is young.’ Kuroo jokes.

‘Gimme a minute, and it’ll be your turn.’

‘You don’t have to-‘ he starts, stopping when Tsukishima
Side eyes him. ‘Okay. Whatever you want, Tsukki.’

‘It’s Tsukishima,’ he counters knowing Kuroo won’t listen anyways. He rolls to his side, resting his head on Kuroo’s chest. He trails his fingers down his chest, slowly, listening to Kuroo’s breaths quicken the lower his fingers
Go, until he reaches the waistband of his underwear. He wastes no time, he can tease Kuroo a different time, and slides his hand under to wrap around Kuroo.

‘Shit, your hand’s cold,’ Kuroo hisses. Tsukishima pouts, tilting his head to look up at him.

‘Could the first thing
You say when I touch your dick not be an insult.’

‘Oh, baby. Not an insult.’ Kuroo promises, angling his neck so he can kiss Tsukishima on the lips. ‘Your hand on my dick is the best thing that’s ever happened to me, promise.’

Tsukishima snorts, moving to straddle Kuroo.
‘Dork,’ he says before pressing their lips together again. He shimmies his way down Kuroo’s body, pulling his underwear off as he goes. His mouth waters at the sight of Kuroo’s cock, slightly bigger than average, thick, flushed from being ignored this whole time. He cuts right
To the chase and wraps his lips around him, humming as he does.

‘Oh, fuck, Tsukki. Shit, warn a guy.’ Kuroo folds in half as Tsukishima takes him almost all the way down on his first go. Tsukishima pulls back, glaring down at Kuroo.

‘For someone who is seconds away from being
In my throat, you sure are not sounding very grateful.’ Kuroo’s eyes widen at Tsukishima’s tone.

‘No no, I’m very grateful. I’ll show you how grateful I can be, promise.’

‘Good.’ He gets to work, taking Kuroo a little further each time. He lets the spit drip out of his mouth
Down the little bit that’s left, making the slide easier and easier.

‘Yeah, that’s it. Fuck, Tsukki your mouth feels so good. I’m so fucking lucky, you’re so perfect for me.’ Tsukishima hums at Kuroo’s praise, the vibrations causing Kuroo’s hips to twitch, thrusting in further
Than Tsukishima was ready for. His throat constricts, eyes tearing up as he powers through his gag response.

‘Shit, sorry, I’m sorry, are you okay?’ Kuroo starts to apologize when Tsukishima pulls back, moaning.

‘Shut up and do it again,’ he demands, pulling Kuroo’s hand and
Placing it on the back of his head.

‘Oh, you’re going to be the death of me. Holy shit.’ Kuroo’s eyes are wide, taking in what Tsukishima just asked him to do.

‘That’s my plan.’ Tsukishima smirks. ‘I’ll tap your leg twice if I need you to stop.’

With that, he takes Kuroo’s
Dick back into his mouth, unable to stop the whines as Kuroo holds his head in place as he experimentally thrusts his hips. Once he’s more confident, he moves faster, deeper, gasping as Tsukishima’s throat swallows around the tip of his cock. Tsukishima can feel the tears welling
Over, but makes no move to stop Kuroo from fucking his face. His brain finally shuts off, and he lets Kuroo take his pleasure until he finds his climax, pulling back to give Tsukishima the choice of swallowing or not.

He waits until Kuroo looks up at him, sticking his tongue
Out in a mockery of Kuroo earlier, showing off Kuroo’s release before swallowing. He laughs as Kuroo curses, surging forward for a sloppy kiss.

‘If you don’t cuddle with me for at least 20 minutes, I’m going to die.’ Kuroo whines.

‘Dramatic.’ Tsukishima deadpans as he climbs
Back into his spot curled into Kuroo’s side. He drags his comforter with him, draping it over the both of them. They lay there, dozing off for well over 20 minutes.

Eventually, Tsukishima’s phone rings. It’s his brother, asking if he wants to go get late night ice cream. He
Tells him he already has plans but Akiteru argues until he agrees to grab lunch with him tomorrow. He hangs up, huffing.

‘Did you want to go get ice cream?’ Kuroo asks.

‘Not particularly? He’s the one who asked.’ He shrugs.

‘Yeah but now I want ice cream. We can grab some
Together before I head home?’ Kuroo suggests.

‘Fine, let’s go.’

They both redress, Kuroo borrowing a toothbrush before they head to a nearby place. Tsukishima gets strawberry(obviously) and Kuroo gets chocolate, and they find a table for the two of them to squeeze into. He’s
Only a few bites into the ice cream when he hears the worst sound ever.

‘Tsukki!!’

‘Oh god.’ He groans, looking up to see Hinata dragging a reluctant Kageyama behind him.

‘What are you doing here? Who’s this?’

‘Getting ice cream and no one you know. Bye.’

‘He was the
One from the gym the other day. How do you know the old captain of Nekoma?’ Kageyama interrupts.

‘Wait how do you know I was a captain of Nekoma? We never played you guys?’ Kuroo asks, pointing his spoon at Kageyama.

‘He only thinks about volleyball, he’s probably memorized
Anyone who’s ever looked at a volleyball,’ Tsukishima says.

‘Woah, you know a captain?’

‘Hinata. We all know captains, we’ve had three different ones on our team alone?’ Tsukishima presses his fingers into his temple, feeling the headache coming on.

‘Kuroo Tetsurou, or you
Can call me the old Nekoma captain, or you could call me Tsukki’s boyfriend, or his Spanish tutor. Whatever floats your boat.’ Kuroo grins at Hinata, ignoring the way Tsukishima freezes.

‘Or, you can call him my ex boyfriend who doesn’t know what the hell a secret is to save
His life,’ he hisses, watching Kuroo’s face go blank as he realizes his mistake.

‘Oh shit.’

‘SPANISH?? Tsukishima,’ Hinata drawls out his name as he tears up. ‘Are you learning Spanish to help me?’

‘No, I’m learning it solely to insult you.’ He denies.

‘Wow, who knew you
Could be nice.’ Kageyama chimes in again.

‘Shut up, King. It’s not like you could learn it, you got lost going to another city in Japan and they speak the same language as you.’ He scowls.

‘Um is it too late to take it back? I would very much like to not be your ex anymore?’
‘Maybe. Maybe I’ll have you help me teach the tangerine over here so he doesn’t die his first week in Brazil as punishment.’

‘If it means I can still be your boyfriend, I’ll take it.’

‘You might regret that,’ Hinata adds solemnly.

‘That’s an insult to yourself too?’
Tsukishima yells.

‘I know.’ Hinata nods.

‘Ugh, I’ve lost my appetite. Let’s go.’ Tsukishima stands, tossing his ice cream in the trash. He watches as Kuroo shoves the rest of his bowl in his mouth in one giant scoop, immediately yelling because of brain freeze. He stands
There, contemplating what he had done to deserve this.

Divine retribution, indeed.

‘You don’t know that for certain!’
