5) Our team has made some other major improvements to the site like using client-side calculations for APYs and TVL.
This further decentralizes the protocol and should make those numbers faster and more reliable!
Watch for other UI improvements as well!
6) Did you hear the latest news from @Platypusdefi on the $HUM airdrop?
As the top $vePTP holder on #AVAX We're incredibly excited about it and looking forward to distributing those rewards to our users. More details to come!
1. Vector has captured 4% of total $veQi which we use to vote on validators that benefit our $xQi holders. (That's 19M xQi and 576M veQi and counting!)
The power of our entire community is behind our strategy!
We are excited to announce an update for our community (or anybody wanting to boost their AVAX yield really) to let you guys know what we've been up to-and more importantly, what we're hoping to accomplish soon!
Our latest roadmap reflects a commitment to you, our community: through practical innovation and user-centric enhancements, we plan to make Vector clearer for new users, more valuable for current users, and continue to be the best way to boost your yield on $AVAX.
We are extremely excited for the future, and have some new roadmap items that are being finalized now!
You can expect an official announcement on Friday, but in the mean time, read our thread below about the current state of Vector:
As you may or may not know, Vector Finance is a protocol that collaborates with other DeFi platforms like @BenqiFinance and @TraderJoe_xyz to boost your DeFi yields. We ensure that you're getting the most yield from the on-chain activities you'd be doing anyways.
Vector has developed a unique cross-chain liquid staking token, $zJOE, specifically for $JOE, the native token of @TraderJoe_xyz's platform. Users can convert their $JOE into $zJOE and stake it on Vector to earn $USDC rewards, which are derived from the trading fees on Trader Joe
π In the world of DeFi, sustainable yield generation is key. Yield farming often relies on dilutive emissions, where new tokens are minted to reward participants.
This approach, while initially attractive, can lead to inflation, diminishing the value of tokens over time.
π The problem with dilutive emissions is sustainability. More tokens flood the market and value decreases. Current holders are harmed, and the long-term viability of the project is diminished.
π‘ Real yield offers a sustainable approach.
It generates returns from actual revenue-producing activities within the ecosystem, such as transaction fees, staking, or lending profits.
This model aligns the interests of participants with the long-term health of the project.
Over 14 million JOE tokens (worth over $4.23 million) have been converted on Vector. When staked there they earn yield from @traderjoe_xyz's sJOE pool. That's real yield going to zJOE stakers!πΈπΈπΈ
Since sJOE is a cross-chain product getting the best yield can take some work.
You need to research what sJOE pool from @traderjoe_xyz has the best yield, predict how it will do in the future, bridge using @LayerZero_Labs and stake it.
