Pregnant women are advised not to clean their cat litter tray and to wear gloves while gardening.

if we decide to save it, our opportunity cost will be not having invested it.
Understanding opportunity cost is useful because we can know what we will no longer gain by making a particular selection. By keeping it in mind we can take better decisions..

If you have a SIP of Rs. 10,000 for a period of 35 years, that amount growing at 12% p.a will grow to Rs. 5,17,99,620.
₹5 cr plus.
Now just increase the SIP amount by 10% a year. This grows to Rs. 14,81,83,096. Which is almost 3 times the amount, ₹14cr plus.

This is the power of #compounding. Build the habit of regular early equity investing, first pay the SIP then spend. You do not need to know fancy technical or fundamental analysis, no need to time markets and get anxious. By the time you retire, your corpus will be ready.

Any decent mutual funds will give atleast 12% or more returns. I will recommend one each from multicap, midcap and smallcap.

If you were wondering the difference between shut down and restart in a pc:
A simple example of a chef working in a kitchen will suffice.

Shutting down completely would be like if the chef cleaned up and went home…

Holding the power button down to shut down faster would be like if the chef didn't clean up and just left a mess and went home.
Restarting the computer is telling the chef to clean up everything and then set everything back up without him leaving the building…

So, it's not totally "shut off" in that sense because the chef is still there to set things back up, and he knew that was the plan in advance.
Hibernation falls in between the two.
It saves a copy of your hard drive before you wake it up like suspended animation.
