The 2004 Act is "effective," "balanced" and grants individuals their "wish," so women & children - the majority - just have to tolerate deprivation of safety, privacy & dignity.

The 2020 position, following Stonewall's GRA reform/"self-ID" push, is no longer current. How can @cabinetofficeuk not have moved on in response to events, including @scotgov debacle? The voting public knows gender laws are absurd & harmful. Debate must happen #RepealTheGRA

And if @RishiSunak doesn't clean up the gender mess on his watch, it'll just become a replay of the "Tory sleaze" saga. Reality matters!

"We call upon the Government to repeal the Gender Recognition Act 2004. The Act makes it impossible in practice to keep biological men - who are statistically responsible for most violent crime - out of single sex spaces for women."

"We call upon Government to repeal because:

(a) it is causing avoidable harm to women & children;

(b) it is causing avoidable social unrest;

(c) "gender" is a subjective notion, properly categorised under Freedom of Belief, not as an objective characteristic like sex or age.

86,700 signatures needed to confront this Conservative government with a legal lie enabled by their Labour predecessors.

There is no workable compromise between reality and pure fiction, and it's a mistake to do the gender lobby's concept laundry for it.

We are not idiots. But gender law is - undoubtedly - an ass.
