The Magical Revolution of Reincarnated Princess and Genius Young Lady Episode 5
Climax delivered in almost flawless way boarded and directed by Shingo Tamaki with fascinating soundtrack, great voice performances and animations which carved a mark on the show.
The episode showed just how far Anis is willing to go to aquire magic and this naturally contradicts Euphie's views and this whole time we were witnessing that even if she is so cheerful and confident Anis is willing to go through dangerous means to fulfil her inner desire.
We've seen previous depictions of Anis fighting style in episode 1 but that was only a glimpse of what would come next. For a series whose most noteble feature isn't action these are certainly impressive and dynamic cuts that showed how reckless and scary Anis is.
After witnessing how swift Anis's magic tools are we get to see the huge gap between proper and beautifil magic of Euphie which Anis just so deeply years for. It is a goal that drives her forward but on path that could caused her lose herself thus she needs support.
I suppose there wouldn't be many dragons later down the line so it is very nice that we got a 2D one instead. Kouta Moroishi was Monster Animation Director for this episode and I wanted to first mention a name and to point that this role means handling correction on monsters.
I'm sure many were surprised just how impressive the effects are or if you haven't thought of that chances are you were probably amazed. Kazunori Ozawa was Effects Animation Director and I was honestly caught of guard, sure it may be bright but it definitely had an impact.
The OST in this episode definitely showed especially when building tension and excitement. I need to mention the sequence where Euphie flew towards Anis because that surely felt hype. I may have not paid much attention to music recently but this episode deserves that.
Manaka Iwami's performance during speech was absolutely stellar. You could hear how much soul she put in it and I was floored. Naturally seiyuu are extremely great at their job but I really had to point out how amazing that delivery was. It made this scene so much more impactful.
Many fought that the of fight was in the air but noone was ready for what appeared next. In a fashion reminiscent of action shows Anis and Euphie unleashed a final slash that could be seen not only as manifestation of their mana but also bond. Presumed cut by Tsurugi Kato.
Perhaps as a some kind of reward for slaying the dragon she was cursed and while now we don't have much explanations for that, I could suspect she will need Euphie's assist to not only fulfil her dream but to carve a path whatever it may be.
Huge portion if not majority was given to the dragon climax and portion to close or rather open the pages for future of these two. Who envy one another but complete themselves by filling those aspects that other lacks. Can they bring a change to themselves and the world?

Experiencing outside world can be a fascinating but scary thing but once the first step is taken the rest would come swiftly. Once again a very fun and cheerful episode that may possibly had the cutest drawings yet in my subjective view. Such an enjoyble show.
It is adorable seeing the blob on Mihari's expression as she bursts into tears that Mahiro can finally properly do the daily activities she struggled before. It is a core element of show to socialize Mahiro from a shut-in she used to be to someone that can hang around friends.
Today we have reached the peak of Arc System Works promotions as over the course of Bind shows we got to progressively see more content culminating in a video ad above arcade. On a completly unrelated note this game rocks and you should play it if you're into fighting games.
Over the last few days Chainsaw Man and director Ryu Nakayama have been under criticism after BD numbers released with many using it as an easy way for mockery. While there are valid points that are being brought up most of the discourse revolves around misunderstood comparisons.
This thread will be seperated into segments with each one trying to illustrate a picture of a situation that came to be and understand why there is such conversation in the first place. There will be 3 key points:
1. Anticipation 2. Creative Decision 3. BD
Anticipation
Chainsaw Man was popular before receiving anime announcement with many people eagerly waiting for its release. Marketing was everywhere and Denji was on everyone's mind. It was ridiculous how big of a hype it has gotten with the insane team behind it.
It appears that providing bonding moments and training attempts makes for a much amusing experience than speed running through books. Most of it consisting of anime original content that honestly gives personality and space to our cast.
Fundamental elements that tie this episode together are concepts of family which Klaus is trying to compehend after loss of Inferno and Lamplight becoming better as a team while trying to make him surrender. It is something that audience should have at least seen before mission.
It may feel weird considering that we already know that they end up forming quite a well organized team but having to witness beginning after all that is still nice to get some sort of explanation and path laid out even if effects won't be the same. I still think those are needed
When show is not afraid to simply mock known tropes and play around typical concepts it brings some of the most hilarious results. From NPC conversations, to Eminence roleplay and overthinking Cid does not disappoint.
It has been a while since last time we saw Claire and who would have thought that once she returned Cid's life would be in danger. Perhaps its not that great to have a sister so obsessed on you but on the other hand she would protect him, right?
Since Cid is already in an environemnt with non NPC he has to at least gather info what they think of Mundane and as expected his plan is flawless! There is something amusing when Cid pats himself on the back just how well of a Mob/Eminence job he makes when it is often so far.
Lycoris Recoil twitter account has surpassed Madoka which is the biggest anime original property. Its unprecedented for anime original series to blew up this much. There is argument to be made that Twitter wasn't as popular in 2010 as it is now but still amazing achievement.
Streaming wise its doing great, popularity is booming, spin-off novels are being sold out, Kojima is promoting and the BD hasn't even dropped yet and its expected to bring huge numbers. I don't think anyone could have predicted just how massive this would get.
If we look at earlier example there is Sk8 which was also very popular and did exremely well to the point that it got a season 2.
Lycoris Recoil Episode 11
Some developments were easy to predict but they still looked cool as here with character confronting one another and scenes that simply looked badass. Majima's seiyuu has made a wonderful performance today. We're approaching the end.
It would have been anticlimatic to say fareweel to characters without them achieving any specific goal so Kurumi using her legendary skills to find out that there is another heart was most likely her role and also I feel that everyone expected there to be heart anyway.
What was good from Takina throughout episode is that she was constantly trying to find Chisato instead of being Lycoris. At the beginning of story Chisato said that if Takina thinks her place is in DA then that's up her choice and now we see that she put Chisato over mission.
