This is an indisputable fact proven by the locations at schools, markets, & apartments in the center of Donetsk. Here is more evidence presented recently at the UN Security Council. So far Ukrainian forces have killed 154 children among the 4586 civilians since February 2022. 
The shells undeniably come from Ukraine as they are supplied by the west, which is proven by their branding and name. Russia doesn’t have US-supplied HIMARS. Sometimes they are the old Soviets Ukraine uses.
As pointed out the shelling still often occurs in Donetsk, often in the center, the most populated area. But also surrounding areas. We found this on our trip but there’s tons more. As many journalists mention, “petal mines” are so hard to see & so destructive to the human body.
