1/ Why Ukrainians Are Very Sceptical of The #FreeNavalny Campaign - 🧵

Excellent post by @ukrainer_en & @uaexplainers that I found on Instagram: instagram.com/p/CoMYZKCN2nK
2/ The only force that de-facto fights putin’s regime and has a chance of defeating it is the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
3/ The #FreeNavalny campaign is based on the vague idea that freeing Navalny would somehow make russia democrati.
4/ They do exploit the anti-war sentiment to whitewash Navalny’s reputation and insert themselves into the international effort to support Ukraine.
5/ Every dollar donated to #FreeNavalny is a dollar that could be applied much more effectively if donated to Ukraine’s resistance.
6/ The Ukrainians are telling the uncomfortable truth: the best way to free Navalny is to donate to Ukraine’s military resistance.

🛠 DEFENDING UKRAINE - EARLY LESSONS FROM THE CYBER WAR

This 🧵 is a summary of key takeaways from @Microsoft report of June 2022.

I hope it provides some context as to why @Ukraine_DAO, whose team has done monumental work countering disinfo, would be a subject of attacks.

1/ Image
"This report offers five conclusions that come from the war’s first four months.

First, defense against a military invasion now requires for most countries the ability to disburse and distribute digital operations and data assets across borders and into other countries."

2/ Image
"Second, recent advances in cyber threat intelligence and end-point protection have helped Ukraine withstand a high percentage of destructive Russian cyberattacks."

Hey, @Ry5i0, two questions:

1) Who are you to tell a Ukrainian how to spend her time?

2) Re "drama" - you are a NAFO forger. Do you realise what NAFO is for?

If you don't like "drama" (which is what you call Ukrainians speaking out against abuse), maybe go do something else?

Since when is being russian a RACE? 😂

For the folks in the back:
when we say we hate russians, that has nothing to do with their genetic makeup. Don't project your fascist nonsense on us.

Being russian is more like a political idea. A really fucked up one.
Here is my personal definition of a "russian":
And you know what?

It really wouldn't do any harm at all if russians felt guilty for the first time in their life.

They SHOULD feel guilty, all of them, but they don't.

They feel sorry for themselves instead.

By encouraging this behaviour, you help them kill us.

🪖Come Back Alive is the most transparent and reputable Ukrainian charity supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

@Ukraine_DAO (🇺🇦,🇺🇦) raised and donated $4m to CBA, making it the largest one-off donation in the Foundation’s history.
Our partnership with @BackAndAlive has extended beyond financial support.

We’ve been actively working with CBA in various other ways, mainly including translation, info & media support.
The article “What russia should do with Ukraine” was originally published by the russian state media RIA Novosti.

It’s essentially a genocide plan.
