1. History was taught in Pakistan. Ayub Khan abolished the subject and replaced it with Pakistan Studies and Social Studies.
2. Liaquat Ali Khan was not Quaid-e-Azam's first choice. 🧵
Jinnah had offered the PMship of to the Nawab of Bhopal and Nawab of Bhawalpur.
3. Congress did not accept a separate Muslim country in the Lucknow Pact. Leaders in Punjab and Bengal were angry because it favoured Muslim minority provinces at the expense of the Muslim majority
4. Allama Iqbal did not mention Pakistan in the Allahabad address. He merely asked for Punjab, NWFP, Sindh and Balochistan to be merged into a province in the Indian federation
5. Pakistan's official day of Independence is 15th August as per the Indian Independence Act.
6. It is a lie to say the 1956 Constitution was never the law. It was the law of the land from March 23, 1956 to October 7, 1958.
7. Ayub Khan's decade of development was great for the rich but the poor did not even have the right to protest the injustice done to them.
8. We are told that India interfered to create Bangladesh in 1971. India was involved but there are a multitude of factors why Bangladesh was created.
9. There was no law and order situation and the G and the opposition had negotiated an agreement when Zia-ul-Haq imposed ML.
10. Pakistan Resolution was actually Lahore Resolution and it was passed on the 24th March, not 23rd March.

Imran Khan was handed from Hamid Gul to Shuja Pasha to Zaheer-ul-Islam to Faiz Hameed. PTI was the public wing of the military Establishment.
Imran Khan has admitted himself he was just the puppet PM and ISI has admitted they engineered for Khan:
Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto started with Ayub Khan and Nawaz Sharif started with Zia-ul-Haq but to compare them to Imran Khan just because all 3 were created by the military est is unfair. Those two broke away from Gate No. 4 soon aftewards. Imran Khan has been in their lap for decades.
Years of propaganda against politicians in Pakistan have dehumanised politicians in the minds of the people.
Seeing Ali Wazir in chains, or Maryam Nawaz telling they put cameras in her jail bathroom, does nothing to them because they don't see them as human beings.
Kulsoom Nawaz's illness before she died was mocked. Nawaz Sharif's Platelets is a national joke.
Nobody cared that Ahsan Iqbal, Shahid Khaqqan Abbasi, and Miftah Ismail in Adiala for months.
Zardari spent 11 years in jail. A journalist publicly wished him death when he was sick
Most human beings are not terrible. They feel empathy when they see injustice.
It's just that Pakistan Studies paints the politicians in the worst light, the Establishment blames the politicians for everything and Imran Khan's propaganda has dehumanised them to this extent now.
On Benazir's death, Pakistan Khappay, and Imran Khan's politics:
🧵
"Pakistan Khappay" is an easy slogan to mock, it has a word from a language the urban elite in Pakistan thinks of as a joke, and it was said by a man we see as the cartoon super villain of Pakistan,
Asif Ali Zardari is the ultimate mafia boss of Pakistan, it does not help that he even looks like one.
But before we talk about those two words - I want to make a broader point - my hypothesis here is that 'whatever is left of Pakistan is due to the civilian leadership of Pak'
Contrary to popular belief, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Mujeeb ur Rahman were negotiating and would have found a political solution, in fact they only disagreed on a single point when the military intervened.
Before we blame the generation before ours of being jaded, we have to realize they were born during a dictators reign, and then they were promised the world with the Muslim world's first woman Prime Minister but she was barely given a few months followed by years of musical chairs
We often see brown sahebs bemoan democracy in Pakistan but when have we had democracy?
A decade of Zia followed by a decade of Governments that lasted less than 2 years each with a President that wasn't theirs
followed by another decade of dictatorship.
And when things were looking up again in 2017 after the war on terror had settled down and Pakistan was opening up again to sports, arts and culture, we got hybrid experiments and now we are back to square one
10 life lessons I learnt doing podcasts all through 2022. Instead of New Year Resolutions, I will try to embody these principles in my life next year.
🧵
1. Take decisions for where you want to be - not for where you are. Without a big vision you will be stuck where you are because you don't believe that you can be bigger and better.
2. The only one you need permission from is yourself. We spent our lives waiting on the world to allow us to do things but this 'lihaaz' holds us back. Give yourself the permission to live your life.
As always, PTI is confusing their followers by confusing the facts of the Tosha Khana case.
PTI's claim:
What Imran Khan paid the requisite amount
Fact:
IK got the watch wrongly appraised for only 10 crores(real value over 100 cr) and sold it for 28 cr after paying only 2 cr.
PTI claim:
Imran Khan did not steal from Pakistan
Fact:
The current value of the watch is over 2 Arab and Imran Khan acquired it for only 2 crores. That is 198 crores Pakistan lost-even if IK had paid 20% of that it would be 40 crores. He didnt even pay 20% of what he sold it for
PTI's claim:
Previous Prime Ministers only paid 20% of the amount. PTI changed the law to 50%.
Fact:
PTI only changed the law after Imran Khan had acquired the watch after only paying 20% of the amount.
