Maybe Vladimir Putin will decice that he is too intimidated by #NATO's potential response to actually attack with nukes. In that case he loses the conventional war in Ukraine, his military gets cut off & captured inside Ukraine. What then?
When Ukraine has captured every remaining Russian solder in Crimea or other Ukraine territories does Putin keep launching missiles, and keep trying to invade with soldiers & tanks? Does Moscow keep threatening nukes or do they escalate to using them?
How do we get the Russian Federation + it's leadership in compliance with the same laws, rules, and ethics that all the other countries allow themselves to be governed by? We have moral failings, bad choices, war crimes, genocide & corruption pervading the Russian Federation.
I think the answer is that we have to put the promise of #NATO into action. We have to declare #Article5 for our spiritual @NATO member Ukraine. We have unjustly delayed their membership because of threats & attacks from Russia. Lets activate NATO's true purpose @jensstoltenberg
