A simple little ChatGPT trick:

Start by feeding it something you've written and ask it to analyze using NLP for tone, voice, and style.

Then, ask it to write something very specific using that analysis as instructions.

Pretty interesting results.
I've also been feeding it "hook lines" from my content and looking for better options.

Pretty rad.
Organizing information has been pretty helpful too.

I recently used it to help me get a Thread into good order.

I can comb through these tips, cross out ones I disagree with, add ones that are missing, and start putting my own information, ideas, and advice into it.
If you're enjoying these, I recently wrote a newsletter about a few ways I've found it to be really useful:

How to price your online course (for maximum $$ + impact).

My "4 Hypotheses" Model:
My course on using LinkedIn as a business tool has over 10,900 students and thousands of 5-star reviews.

One of the most common pieces of feedback I receive is that it's "a helluva bargain".

That's how I want people to feel!

I made these 4 hypotheses to get to the price point:
Hypothesis 1: Make it accessible

I hypothesized that most people would be at the beginning or intermediate stages of leveraging LinkedIn.

My hypothesis was that pricing should skew low to capture that audience.

Less than $300.

Twitter hates LinkedIn.

But in 2022, it accounted for $1.2M of my revenue from 175M+ impressions.

Here's how I use LinkedIn unlike anyone else:
Inside of this thread, you'll learn how to:

1. Design a profile that converts
2. Write content that matters
3. Recycle for 2x engagement
4. Interact with top creators
5. Leverage little-known features
6. Funnel people to your website

And more.

Let's dive in.
Design A Profile That Converts:

Here is the journey of a prospective follower.

1) Reads your content
2) Clicks your profile
3) Sees your banner
4) Looks at your headshot
5) Reads your tagline
6) Reads your about section
7) Checks your featured section
8) Follows or doesn't

Every piece of advice I could think of after 4 years as a Solopreneur.

1. Pessimists are often right, and optimists are often wealthy.
2. If you don't respect people's time, they won't respect you.
3. The best entrepreneurs know how to teach themselves.
4. You learn 100x more by trying than by reading ab someone else.
5. If you don't know how to sell, you're going to struggle.
6. Thick skin is a prerequisite for building in public.
7. You go 10x faster by supporting people, not tearing them down.
8. No matter how good your product is, someone will hate it.
9. Price whatever you offer at a rate you'd be comfortable paying.

How to build an MVP startup in 27 minutes (for just $25):
I’m going to build an MVP for a startup.

It will be a Rover competitor that will send a local dog walker to any house in my neighborhood for a 20-minute, $35 walk.

The business will be automated, cost less than $25 & 30 minutes to build, and be functional with zero code.

Build a Landing Page on Carrd:

I'll need a place to send local traffic.

You can build a beautiful, functional, no-code page with Carrd.

I grabbed a template, uploaded a photo from Unsplash, and chose a free URL from Carrd.

Time: 8 minutes
Cost: $19 per year

I spent $40.93 and 10 minutes to generate $7,500 in sales.

Here's how:
Listened For Problems That Can Be Solved:

Someone on LinkedIn told me they save a lot of my posts but wished there was an easier way to access them.

I had a simple idea to solve this.

Just like that, the "Swipe File" was born.

My top 50 pieces of content, seen 21M+ times.
Announced the New Product Online:

I used some old copy from another product launch and updated it to announce The Swipe File.

I wrote about it on Tuesday, July 20th, 2021
