Zork, the 1977 text-based adventure by Infocom, was cybernetic modeling spyware; it was capable of mining natural language and cognitive heuristics.

"Zork" literally means "unfinished product", the final component was the user's brain. ImageImage
The DARPA-funded cyberneticists masquerading as game developers taunt gamers in their advertising. The exoteric meaning was that your imagination provided the simulation.

This is true in more ways than one. ImageImage
Supposedly the game was inspired by ADVENT / Colossal Cave Adventure by Will Crowther. Older accounts say he wrote it on a PDP-10 at MIT. At the time, Crowther was working at Bolt Beranek and Newman (BBN). ImageImage
BBN was under contract from ARPA/DARPA and the Navy to create "speech understanding systems" (SUS). They needed this so the NSA could listen to your phone conversations.

The main problem was "ill-formed inputs"; garbled text, weird commands. ImageImage
The same year Colossal Cave Adventure was released, Crowther's colleagues at BBN published "A Tutoring and Student Modeling Paradigm For Gaming Environments" funded in part under Tri-Service (AFHRL, ARI, NPRDC) and ARPA (HRRO) contract. ImageImage
To understand why the entire military-industrial-academic complex was interested in "gaming environments", you have to understand the idea of "dynamic modeling" and "cybernetic learning".

Basically, data is used to create models which is then used to create feedback. ImageImage
Your adventure through this game of Wumpus can be used to create a "learner model" where the Learner's knowledge is overlaid on the complete domain to discover the difference.

In other words, the process of mapping allows an observer to map your model of reality. ImageImage
Zork was developed by the Dynamic Modeling Group at MIT under J.C.R. Licklider and Al Vezza, pioneers of man-machine symbiosis, and would later take leading roles at Infocom, the game's commercial publisher. ImageImage
Infocom's board of directors. From left: Marc Blank, Joel Berez (President), Al Vezza, J.C.R. Licklider, Chris Reeve. These were men whose stated goal was to end humanity forever by blending us with machines, supported by billions in DARPA funding, starting a video game company. Image
Zork was written in Muddle, a programming language designed for their Dynamic Modeling System, with a focus on debugging, testing and quickly implementing new ideas. It was for creating User-Oriented Interactive Computer Graphics. Image
Licklider's descriptions of the true nature of "dynamic modeling" are rare. Certain papers are not extant on the internet; on occasion he spoke plainly, on "'dynamic hieroglyphs'; graphics projected onto the retina; graphics embedded in AI languages"
schwabstack.substack.com/p/reality-ends…
He says through "interactive dynamic modeling," computer graphics will become a part of
thinking and "command and control".

"Who will the users be? In a phrase, they will be the menials, the mentals, and the masses." (1969) ImageImage
The year after making Zork and hosting it on the Arpanet, Al Vezza, David Liebling and Tim Anderson presented a paper at Distributed Sensor Nets, a DARPA sponsored workshop, on *language understanding* and AI. ImageImage
The paper describes a process for creating an "Augmented Transition Network" (ATN) to decipher Morse code chatter and ambiguous inputs. In order to build the ATN grammar, they needed to simulate a network environment, filled with realistic chatter and errors. ImageImageImage
Apparently, Muddle's primary use was as an "interpreter", to build programs for the automated assembly of ATN grammars.

Zork was a "distributed sensor" to collect ambiguous inputs from the "mentals", or perhaps from the expert class, as many of Zork fans were professionals. ImageImage
Zork and Adventure were both hosted on Arpanet for years, but the average PC hobbyist in the 70s was often corporate executive, engineer or lawyer. Much of the equipment was prohibitively expensive, a quarter of Infocom's customers had M.D. in their titles. ImageImage
While I appreciate your reply, the "far simpler" explanation runs contrary to the proven 20 year history of using games as testbeds for psychological and AI research. Due to the nature of software development, it's possible only one or two people knew...
Cybernetics is the art of turning mass man into golem through technology @MetallicRaptor
ImageImage
ImageImage
Beyond the fact that the games were hosted on the ARPANET for years before their release, here is J.C.R. Licklider, one of the founders of the ARPANET, discussing eavesdropping with ultrasonic frequencies in 1968.

This proves such concepts were familiar to him. Image
Of course, he would have been aware of the 1967 Spring Joint Computer Conference session organized by Willis Ware which framed early work done by the RAND–NSA network that EXPLICITLY discussed data vulnerabilities by way of EM radiation from processors and memory architecture. ImageImage
People forget that the NSA has been around since 1952. What do you think they have been doing all this time? Image
Every part of your computer can be made into an antenna—the display, the keyboard cord, the processor, the RAM, the mouse cord—no internet connection is required. The intelligence community and the military have known this since the 1960s. ImageImageImageImage
It was demonstrated as far back as 1985 that computer components could act as receiver / transmitter with *commercially available equipment*. If a determined hobbyist could do it in 1985, I think ARPA/IC could have pulled it off a few years earlier. ImageImageImage
In the context of MK ULTRA, the GATE program, the contemporary STARGATE project— coupled with the long history of using games for AI/cognitive research—it is obvious that if they *desired* such data, they would have acquired it. Image

How long is the list of things that Elon Musk *must know*-

1. He must know that his poll was 90% foreign/Indian

2. He must know that at best he will only split the vote.

3. He must know the two-party system is a structural inevitability.

4. He must know that "infinity Indians" and forcing people to buy Teslas is not a viable platform.

5. He must know that he has never invented anything and all his wealth comes from govt. subsidies and military-intelligence contracts. He has no organic charisma.

6. He must know seed money for SpaceX came from In-Q-Tel, the CIA's investment arm, and SpaceX was carried by the mentorship of In-Q-Tel former director Mike Griffin.

7. He must know CIA-USAID funded Starlink terminal deployment in Ukraine, (SpaceX "donated" a further 3,667 terminals).

8. He must know he has far closer ties to the Israeli intelligence/Epstein-MIT circle than Trump or any other potential candidate.

9. He must know that DOGE was nothing but a techno-accelerationist state capture, data harvesting operation, and amounted to little more than political theater.

10. He must know that his persona and site function as a Chinese MMO phone game, a simulation of political resistance, and that "Elon Musk tweets" (3rd‑order simulacra) flood the media ecology and drown out real signals.

11. He must know his only *real* job is to make sure reality is not contested on the ground, but is preempted in signal space.

12. He must know that his role as hyperreality slop manufacturer is not enough to win a major race, but it is perhaps *the only way* for the Dems to remain relevant.
The calcinations produced by the algo have specific forms, little formulas, cognitive lithography that keeps people thinking of "Elon Musk" within a psycho-political framework, when there is no evidence that supports that. He did not arrive by those mechanisms.
Musk is an always online "fandom with a toddleroid mascot" running an ARG-as-a-service model tailored to the IC left-liberal "globalist" market. It is ontically an "open borders" object and his "party" could only ever be a hideous skinsuit. Image

It's called "state of play." A woman can post online or report to the proximate institution anything you say at any time and use it to destroy you socially. It's also non-linear, she can retro-causally make your actions "rape." Everyone knows this, the risk is part of the game.
Whether or not there is a high probability of juridical or physical violence is immaterial, the probability space exists, has been *made prominent* for the entire zoomer lifespan, and has long been incorporated into the psychosocial game called "talking to women."
You can call it the "lens space," the Heads Up Display through which everyone views the terrain. Women pretending that they don't see this HUD is also part of the game. That post is maskirovka, a signal deception. "We're flying blind. Where are all the targets? Where am I??"

They are channeling the fictive plane even more rigidly as the post-WW2 order of the screen dies and twink necrosis completely liquefies their brains.
Like a washed up Spiritualist medium using stage magic when the poltergeist fails to appear, too calcinated to notice that this forced "hoax" retroactively discredits their past performance.
A capeshit "dispositif fictionnel" as identity apparatus only works if one has total control of the zeitgeist. Otherwise it makes you look like an uncanny, geriatric toddler to anyone except soyllenial theater kids.

Any “out‑of‑body” identity market would have the same issues. Image

Communicating with boomers is impossible because they fail the Breakfast Question.

"But what if you couldn't grind from the bottom and become successful? What if that route had been destroyed? How would you feel then?"

"But I did grind from the bottom and become successful"
lmao at the "snowflake" "hate your dad" "avocado toast" "play on dey phone" rebuttals that have been driving *everyone* to CONTEMPT and FURY as they watched their country turn into South Africa for the last twenty years. They can't stop throwing fuel on the fire.
We haven't even gotten into what boomers did with the bio-security apparatus for *job security reasons* that directly led to lockdown world. Everyone is playing nice because all they want is for you to see *what you have done.* But all you have to say is "fuck you I got mine"

Creatures that tried to make a bizarre eunuch class by castrating children think "deep down" conservatives doubt their own convictions, want approval of sick freaks

They have zero (0) theory of mind because of 'abstracted ipseity'. There is no 3D model because the modeler is 2D
Their "minimal presence" is subsumed into the screen (full immersion in the slop media abyss). They can't model anything in the real world because there is no point of contact. The world is observed *and felt* from within the screen (enchanted glass)
In other words, they aren't operating in their own bodies, including their own brains or nervous system. Total auto-amputation. Libs don't even know when they're broadcasting a miasma of fear and anxiety, let alone what other people think or feel "deep down" lmao

The 'For You' page is not an offer, it's a threat.

1/ Image
'For You' page is not a "timeline", it's an algo-line where time is dis/re-ordered. Time is air, your curated timeline is an atmosphere, the first precondition for an online 'you'. It's a virtual superstructure that allows 'waking life' to exist here.
The algo-line is a dream under an evil star, a kind of screen-induced dissociative state, an abaissement du niveau mental, the first precondition for mediumship.
