5/ OMG. Josh Hawley is in cahoots with Alexey Komov, the Russian Christofascist homeschooling proponent who works for indicted Russian oligarch Konstantin Malofeev. Because of course he is.

6/ Malofeev’s “Safe Internet League” is supposedly meant to “protect children” but really is a fascist Kremlin project to block objectionable content (eg, anti - Kremlin talking points). Komov & Torshin are on the board.

7/ Hawley’s bill is probably a copycat. (Full disclosure: I haven’t read it.)
