Cy Vance dropped a potential felony fraud a RE fraud case involving Trump SoHo a 🏨 & condo project against Ivanka & Don Jr., bef a campaign contribution made to Vance. Investigators believed Trumps had made falsely reassuring statements to prospective buyers of units #DeadlineWH
2/Reporters learned evidence included 📧 chains in which the Trumps “discussed how to coördinate false info.” In another set of communications, they apparently reassured a broker who was concerned abt the deception.

3/When the investigation got hot in May of 2012, Trump personal lawyer Marc Kasowitz went to meet w Vance. 3 months later, the case went away. Kasowitz reportedly later bragged abt his work, saying it was “amazing I got them off.”
4/(The lawyer now denies making that statement). Subsequently, Kasowitz made an additional contribution to Vance of $32,000, and reportedly helped route additional contributions to the DA.

3/That was a prob. Guerriero didn't know exactly what McGonigal was using WhatsApp for — he never used it to communicate w her — but he was on there a lot. So McGonigal went out & bought a 2nd iPhone to use on the side. He used it almost exclusively for WhatsApp.
