...she's referring to. My interpretation is that she means there WAS NOT clinical uncertainty about benefit of masks, so they saw no need to do a randomized trial. @CDCDirector is also implying that have done a randomized trial would have been unethical. Yikes! This begs... 4/

...the question if @CDCDirector is going to go around accusing others who DID do randomized trials of masks during COVID of having done unethical science. IT ALSO begs the question of why our institutions saw no clinical equipoise when other medical professionals saw #equipoise.

There's huge disconnects between consciousness of our institutions & our communities. This must be bridged if we are to learn from COVID chaos that our collective consciousness created. We need some #equipoise in our governmental, academic and healthcare institutions.@CDCDirector
