Went to Burnaby Hospital with small #corsirosenthalbox No questions asked. The DIY cover/carry bag with handles hid filter pleats. Likely why no stares at it. RockSolar power bank kept it running as I carried 13x13x20 unit. Also had portable rechargeable slung over shoulder neck.

I found the RockSolar power station used. Delivery from Amazon is not quick. Whole set up was light/easy to carry. CO2 was excellent in hospital, but was happy to have the air filtration. Small #corsirosenthal is 13x13x20. Forgot to put shroud on this one. Oops.
Made the cover/carry ‘bag’ for small CR with washable polypropylene on bottom & for straps. Stretchy mesh fabric on the sides lets air thru. Have purchased 3 types mesh. This mesh from Etsy is best: 2way stretch/doesn’t run. Delivery faster than expected etsy.com/ca/listing/694…
Had accidently used mesh which runs like pantihose so put a second tube of the good mesh over top to hide the runs. If I made another carry bag would do it the same so end up with 2 layers. Have used mesh on full size CRs. Collects bit of dust and is washable.
Wonderful device for powering a #CorsiRosenthalBox !!!
Check wattage on fan. Knowledgeable person on Twitter advised 80 watts divided by watts of fan = number of hours of running time.
How I made the 13” x 13” x 20” #CorsiRosenthalBox Good air flow from this fan from @CanadianTire

(Hint @CanadianTire keep lots of stock of this fan and your 20 x 20 box fan. People are making #CorsiRosenthalBox. You are my source for fans)
My DIY portable rechargeable air purifier made using #CorsiRosenthalBox principals. Follow the tweet thread and replies to tweets for information on how I made it and for more information. Link is in the article #COVID19bc #COVIDisAirborne #airfiltration cleanaircrew.org/personal-air-f…
Pro tip: for blood work &/or ECG go to local hospital which likely has better ventilation. 417 ppm CO2 at Burnaby Hospital. This puts money back into public health care rather than for-profit private business. @LifeLabs never responded to me on their poor air quality #COVID19bc
@threadreaderapp unroll please
No need to make an appointment at Burnaby Hospital for an ECG. Walk in with requisition and no wait. For blood work I could have had next day appointment at outpatient lab. FAR better air quality than LifeLabs. Better patient adherence to masking. Profits support public health.

1. Went to a specialist doctor office for appointment. Two MOA’s at desk: one with surgical mask under nose, other with surgical mask dangling on one ear. Non-compliance to request to mask. Masks are required in medical offices. No one eating/drinking.
2. Statements to me (not necessarily in order): There’s a barrier. I have one on (It was dangling from one ear). You’re wearing a mask. You’re fine.
3. They knew from phone call I am COVID cautious. MOA on phone had readily agreed to me bringing a medium size Corsi-Rosenthal in. I had spoken re: COVID. Also sent an email which made it obvious I was COVID cautious.

Many of us missed pandemic information from experts in 2020, 2021 and even early 2022 because we were on Facebook, not Twitter.

Now some are on Mastodon and some are on Twitter. Many are still on Facebook. Information is not getting to the masses.

Houston, we have a problem.
Some on Twitter will be judgemental of this “we believed in you”. We did not have access to the experts who were hanging out on Twitter. We were on Facebook. Now we have many on Facebook, many on Twitter and many on Mastodon. The masses are not getting information.
There are still large # s of BCians who are only on Facebook. Large numbers are seniors. They’re not on Twitter. They’re more likely to still be Bonnie devotees & not protecting themselves. There are also 2 Facebook groups in which anti BC PH chatter is not allowed by HCW admins.
