Agriculture is integral to the economy across Island of Ireland.

134k farms in the South.
25k farms in the North.

Most are family owned.

If I owned a small holding Irish farm.
I’d be watching tonight’s events in #Ohio with interest. 👀

War on small holdings / food supply!
Ireland needs to wake the fuck up.
These sick bastards would starve Ireland again in a heartbeat.

I’d put money on some random, major shit happening soon in the Northern, Western, South of IE areas.

(42% farms are in Northern and Western region, 40% are in the Southern region)
Ireland is already at +20% excess mortality.

Imagine if what happened tonight in Ohio, happened in an area of critical importance to IE food/water supply.

Not only impacting food supply chains, but literally breaking a key industry which a wider ecosystem is highly reliant on.
The same systematic war on small holding farms has been happening around the world with repeated protests against legislation which harms small and independent farms in India, France, Germany, Holland, Canada, Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, Netherlands etc.

Ask yourself, Why?

I know many tech founders who have made fcuk you money and changed their life.

Not all, but the majority of them are shallow, obviously unhappy, can't hold a fulfilling relationship down and surround themselves with fake users and "yes" people.

That's not my idea of success.
Money is like a drug, it may give a temporary high, pleasure, or block out pain/trauma.

But, what goes up, must come down and someone can't run from their thoughts forever.

It makes an inferiority complex so glaringly obvious to those who want to absorb, abuse or use energy.
I believe that's the reason why so many "successful" people are unhappy.

The fame/money masks who they are + makes them become who they aren't.

So their life becomes a glossy lie, which doesn't feel as good as it looks.

People who aren't familiar w/ Irish history may not know, but the "Great" Famine was genocide which killed an estimated 1m people and forced another 1m to leave the country.

Throughout the 1845 to 1852 period, Ireland produced enough food to feed all, but the food was exported!
This genocide by the British created conditions of dire hopelessness, dependence on potato crop through a series of sadistic, debasing, premeditated and barbarous Penal Laws, which deliberately, systematically stripped the Irish of even the least semblance of basic human freedom.
Ireland's population declined by 20–25% (in some towns falling up to 67%) between 1841 to 1871 and between 1845 to 1855, at least 2.1 million people left Ireland.

Nobody knows exactly how many people died or left because "conveniently" census records, were destroyed in a fire.

One thing I hate about speaking up about reality,

I'm conscious there's many out there struggling / feeling low,

Who may get overwhelmed by what's going on w/ sensory overload and limited ability to process or even understand things.

My intention is simply to translate. ✌🏼❤️
If we lived in a functioning society, this is a time when

- Faith leaders should step up to provide spiritual guidance,

- The media should be impartial and provide context and facts.

- Celebrities put morals before their pocket and make a stand.

None of that is happening.
What we have is:

- Faith leaders basically being at one with the establishment.

- Journalists limited in what they can say, or do.

- Celebrities with no morals who'd sell their own mother for a few mill.

And now worse,

- Hegelian Dialectic "Influencers" who try to divide.

One thing that most countries who had incentivised and prioritised FDI over building a solid Idigenous startup ecosystem are about to learn:

Is just how stupid that was as those jobs vanish faster than they arrived, with lay offs rapidly accelerating by disruption cased by AI.
I'm sorry to say it, but that all points to N Ireland being absolutely fucked, as it's so exposed to this risk.

Most of the established industries are about to be decimated.

There's no FDI incentive that trumps removing 100% of salary by firing people who are no longer needed.
I see so many people highlighting the impacts of this in the south, as so many jobs were created via inward FDI investment and that's obviously already happening. E.g LinkedIn lay offs.

But IE had foresight to have two orgs IDA and EI separately focussing on FDI and startups.

Trust me, there’ll be a huge raid on the assets/capital of middle/upper classes.

As they’re rapidly disintermediated and removed from their comfortable lifestyles and safety nets,

Those who make up the lower rungs of the socioeconomic ladder will navigate it so much better.
Imagine benefiting from a system of inequality for generations to the point you blindly trust it to always protect/value you, only for the rug to be pulled out and the boot which you’ve always seen hurting those below you in the food chain is directly on your face.

Kinda poetic!
Those at the bottom who are literally the product of the survival of their ancestors have it inside their DNA to survive.

Im not saying they won’t struggle, especially in todays materialistic/vanity driven world.

But times like these will force you to connect with the true you.

It doesn't matter where a Crab is in a bucket, they're still in a bucket.
A crab placed alone in a bucket will easily climb out and escape, but when you place it with a few others, this interesting phenomenon occurs: One at a time, as the crabs try to escape, other crabs will pull them back down to their misery and the group’s collective demise.
In essence, the reason why the crabs in bucket mentality exists and manifests is because of those with a fixed mindset who are not willing to expand their boundaries of thinking or to look beyond their self-constructed ego.
