This is LOVE!

1 John 4:7-11
Beloved, let us LOVE one another: for LOVE is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for GOD is LOVE.
In this was manifested the LOVE of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. Herein is LOVE, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to LOVE one another.

What amazing LOVE!

1 John 3:1
Behold, what manner of LOVE the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God.
He loved us not because we were lovable, or worthy, but because He is LOVE!

Have you taken hold of this LOVE He has given you? LOVE that has provided for you eternal life with Him and everything you need in this life? If not do so today!!
When our daughter was single, Valentine’s Day was a difficult day for her. She had waited so long to find the person God had for her, but here she was still single.
I’ve heard it said that Valentine’s Day for many like her at that time in her life, is referred to as singleness awareness day!
I understand that, but beloved if you feel alone today, you are not! His LOVE is always with you, you will never be alone if you belong to Him! Give your heart to Him today!
Isaiah 54:4-5
Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. For thy Maker is thine husband;
The Lord of Hosts is His Name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall He be called.

His arms were outstretched for you in the cross, and are even now outstretched to you, waiting for you to come to Him!
2 Corinthians 5:21
For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
John 3:16-17
For God so LOVED the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
He laid down His life for you! He will give you not only His LOVE, but His JOY!!

John 15:11-13
These things have I spoken unto you, that My JOY might remain in you, and that your JOY might be full. This is my commandment, That ye LOVE one another, as I have loved you.
Greater LOVE hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Receive His LOVE, then LOVE others!! You will have a capacity to do so you’ve never had!

Happy Valentine’s Day dear friends!!

First cleanse the inside!

What do people see when they look at our outward appearance, and actions, and hear our words?

The Lord looks at these things, but He also sees past them. He looks at our hearts. He knows what’s on the inside.
1 Samuel 16:7
The Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.
Do you have the appearance of being His child? Do you say, I’m a Christian, yet if one could look inside your heart, and your mind, and at what you do in secret, those things would reveal something different? Are you just a whitewashed tomb, full of dead bones and uncleanness?

Where is your sword?

Do you feel overwhelmed by the enemies attack on your life, or when you see evil running rampant in this world? Do you feel powerless to do anything about it?

As children of the King, we have been given powerful weapons!
Do you know what your weapons are? If not, how can you use them?

Our weapons aren’t carnal, or physical, but spiritual and divinely empowered!
2 Corinthians 10:3-4
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

His peace!

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Have you ever had your peace shaken?

Have you been in a situation where you received a scary diagnosis, or feared you would? Maybe you couldn’t reach a loved one, & feared something bad had happened, or heard news that shook your faith & peace, & brought you to your knees?
How do you have peace in that time? How do you let go of your fears and get rid of all the thoughts and imaginations of your mind?

TRUST!

This is for someone today!

Is there something you’re keeping to yourself because it’s just too embarrassing to you for you to share? Are you living in condemnation and guilt because of that thing?
Bring it to Him! Confess it to Him! There is NOTHING in our heart, our mind, or our body, that He doesn’t already know about.
If you’re too ashamed to confess it to a brother or sister in Christ, confess it to Him! He will forgive you, cleanse you, heal you, and restore you today! Don’t wait!

Perseverance!

Will you remain steadfast in Him? No matter what you face from day to day, no matter how difficult the trial, or how weak, or weary you feel?

Matthew 10:22
He that endureth to the end shall be saved.
Ephesians 6:16-18
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

Is a famine coming?

Yes, the Word tells us of a great physical famine!

Revelation 18:8
Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
But, even now we are in a greater famine, a spiritual famine! A famine for hearing the Word of the Lord! Because the people, having itching ears, and wanting to hear a message that tickles their ears have turned aside to false teachers, instead of turning to the Lord,
He will cause a famine for His Word!

Amos 8:11
Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the Words of the Lord.
