Why are people worried about "future presidents" and executions? Why are they so concerned about banning federal executions? Society didn't decide that.

Why are the 'powers that be' in Biden's coalition pushing Biden to do something that he could ostensibly do... but can't do?🤔

I mean, Merrick Garland already "suspended" them. So they're not happening now. They're worried about a future president.
