What will happen, if Pakistan defaults?

Dollar may shoot up to over Rs 400, petrol over Rs 500, there will be extreme shortage of petrol, government will have no salaries no pay, there will be no makeup items, chocolates or life saving drugs, monetary restrictions will be there,which means you cannot withdraw

More than certain amount from your own account, there will be no electricity, we will not be able to import oil, energy and other essential commodities. There will be no pensions, because government will have no money to pay.

But let’s first know why defaults happens?

Ten months later, Shehbaz Sharif delivered at a spectacular speed. It’s just not the kind of delivery anybody wanted or expected. Even his own son and brother would rather stay in London than come back to Pakistan to own or fix this mess.

We’ve run out of cliches to communicate sheer scale of disaster unfolding in front of our eyes. Is this a plane crash with 230 million people onboard & pilot being busy addressing passengers about air traffic control or previous pilot versus actually taking charge of situation?

Manufacturing Consent: The Political Economy of the Mass Media" is a book by Edward S. Herman and Noam Chomsky, first published in 1988. In this book, the authors analyze the media and the way it operates in capitalist societies.

They argue that the media is controlled by a small group of large corporations and that this control leads to the production of news and information that supports the interests of these corporations and the elite class.
