The military intervention by Djibouti in northern Somalia, in the absence of any direct threat to its own security, constitutes a breach of international law and the fundamental principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of other nations.

Providing chemical weapons to separatists would be a violation of international law, including the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC), that Djibouti signed it.
From a humanitarian perspective, the use of chemical weapons can have devastating consequences, causing harm to civilians, the environment, and the long-term health and well-being of those affected.
The proliferation of chemical weapons can pose a threat to regional and global security, as such weapons can fall into the hands of alshabab or other non-state actors. @DeptofDefense@amnesty
Providing weapons in all its forms to separatists in northern Somalia could also escalate the conflict and lead to further violence, loss of life and undermine the efforts of the international community to bring stability to Somalia and the surrounding region.
We, the Somali people, call for immediate, an impartial and comprehensive investigation by @UNHumanRights and @OPCW to be conducted to determine the truth of these serious allegations and violations of international laws and ensure that those responsible are held accountable.
