1./ Good Riddance, Sturgeon the Liar?
Sturgeon's resignation was a reminder of how brilliant she is: only consummate political deceivers can perform like she did: with the quivering lip, the reminder she's 'hoooman' and the "oh don't make me cry" baloney.
bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotla…
2./ She's so corrosive because, like Blair and the Clintons, she lies with sincerity. By contrast, we know Trump and Boris lie and they know we know so their lies are less convincing. Sturgeon strangled the Truth and waved its corpse aloft with disgusting sanctimony.
3./ Let's remind ourselves of just some of the stories she's told. Her legal background shrouded in accusations of cover-up? The relationship with her husband is bizarre. No other political party in Europe is run by such a happily married heterosexual couple. #houseofcards.
4./ Some allege she and Peter Murrell (the husband she conveniently shares a house with) told lies constantly about Alex Salmond. Did they misuse the rules around witnesses to cover up how close they were to accusers? Did they push accusers to come forward to destroy Salmond? 🤷
5./ I hold no candle for Salmond but Sturgeon and her creepy heterosexual husband Murrell were willing to see Salmond go to jail. In any normal democracy wouldn't the tapes recording Murrell's plotting have incinerated the career of both him and his absolutely adoring wife?
6./ We do know that Sturgeon and Murrell turned Scotland into a second rate polity where talent was entirely subsidiary to utter loyalty. No one who knows her believes any Minister is allowed to speak without her approval which means all the lies they told were approved by her?
7./ If that's true that means she must have sanctioned the outrageous cover-ups of children's deaths in a hospital that was not ready to open and was unsafe. heraldscotland.com/politics/19726…
8./ Would that also mean she was the source of cover ups in the saga of ferries over 6 years late and at least £300M over budget? We certainly know she tried to blame her Finance Secretary Derek Mackay for signing a contract she must have approved.

scotsman.com/news/politics/…
9./ Most Scottish journalists will confirm how bullying Sturgeon's office could be. We know, for example, from the..err..right wing Guardian she tried to cover-up Derek Mackay's harassment of a 16 year old schoolboy whom he texted hundreds of times.
theguardian.com/politics/2020/…
10./ This despite the fact Sturgeon knew Mackay had a serious alcohol problem that made him get handsy with young men. That's why she banned him from drinking at SNP conferences but not when inviting schoolboys to Holyrood. heraldscotland.com/news/18217581.…
11./ Perhaps lies are inevitable when you refuse to engage with evidence. From education to drug deaths she refused to focus on issues that would require consistent hard work. Instead she preferred performative virtue-signalling like her silly baby boxes.
scotsman.com/news/politics/…
12./ Who can forget the blatant lies she told about COVID? As warnings circulated about the virus spreading she allowed 60 000 people to attend Murrayfield on the 8th March 2020...then complained the Tories hadn't closed down quickly enough
13./ The cover-up of the Nike outbreak the same weekend was so blatant it might have been funny if it wasn't tragic. Sturgeon and SNP top brass claimed they couldn't warn people because of ..err..patient confidentiality. No one sensible believes that BS.
thenational.scot/news/19638932.…
14./ After a career as First Minister steeped in deception it was perhaps no surprise that lies have now ended her career. A police investigation into SNP finances in a party with no robust and independent scrutiny was surely a matter of time.
thecourier.co.uk/fp/politics/sc…
15./ The biggest lie of all that Sturgeon told was that she had risk-assessed her flagship Gender Self ID Bill. In fact she'd waved rapists through into women's prisons and only relented when questioned by a media that finally found its voice.
16./ With what we know about the lies Sturgeon has told -and those we don't yet know about- should we believe a single word of her sanctimonious performance today? Of course not. Like the scorpion said to the frog, she can't help herself. Lying is her nature.

1./ What a speech!
The fact that the public is *finally* getting a chance to discuss Gender Self ID properly made this powerful speech today by @joannaccherry all the more important. She describes how many lesbians feel the progress of the last 3 decades is being reversed.
2./ Many gay men share her concerns though the harassment of lesbians has been much more visceral and violent than that of gay men. That's why many of our sisters are forced to meet in secret and young lesbians in particular are gaslit by homophobic social media.
3./ Joanna concludes by celebrating my two heroic friends @BevJacksonAuth and Kate Harris who set up @ALLIANCELGB. Along with brave gay and lesbian groups like @MensNetwork1, @LesbianFB and @LesbianLabour and many others we're reclaiming our movement (or what's left of it).

1./ Why would two comedy drag clowns be chosen to represent gays in a campaign against homophobia in football? The website of @FvHtweets reveals -despite its name - it also campaigns against transphobia. As ever now gay people's needs have to come second. It gets worse...
2./ The transphobia campaign argues FOR the erosion of single sex spaces in changing rooms and claims a transwoman who's good at football should not be assumed to have had an advantage from being male. Pull the other one matey. Guess who provides the "information"?👇 Image
3./ That'll be the ghouls at @Genderintell who have been spreading misinformation for decades. We know that puberty blockers can cause extreme bone density loss similar to osteoporosis which might make football dangerous. Do they warn about this? No. It's "not significant".

1./ Why does the petition against LGBT+ content in primary schools matter? The petition doesn't define what it means by LGBT content so I don't support it. What seems clear is it represents the start of a reaction to the promotion of dogma in schools. Who's to blame for that?
2./ In 2017 the founder of TIE, an LGBTQ+ inclusion outfit given oodles of public money and that backs drag queen story hour in primary schools, argued, "you have to be provocative, quite blunt and in your face". With 5 year olds?
pressreader.com/uk/the-scotsma…
3./ In an article, the US founder of Drag Story Hour argued it was "family friendly in the sense of 'family' as an old-school queer code to identify and connect with other queers". Mmm. What queers are already in a classroom?

This is revealing. On the eve of the Gender Self ID vote Patrick Harvie admits they’ll have to accept amendments to prevent UK intervening. They didn’t. So they knew this would happen. And listen to what else he wants to bring in. The gender madness has only just begun. 👇
2./ You can savour the full Dr Strangelove vibe here. Harvie thinks Gender Self ID (which erases women’s single sex spaces, undermines gay rights and endangers the mental health of children) is just the start. He wants to go further. You bet he does....
3./ If you liked Harvie broadcasting from a broom cupboard you’ll love this with Lorna Slater in a photo booth. Check out her acting “very shocked” when s 35 was triggered; the one Harvie warned last month was inevitable. Maybe they don’t bother to watch each other’s videos. 🤷‍♂️

1./ Where does the madness of our LGBTQ+ movement come from? For 6 months I've been trying to find out and I'm now reporting my discoveries in a series of substack posts like this one.
So what does Paris in May 1968 have to do with all this?👇
1/of 20
malcolmrichardclark.substack.com/p/the-dark-sex…
2./ The backdrop to May '68 was the 'sexual revolution' a phrase coined by Wilhelm Reich, a psychoanalyst who rebelled against Freud's belief that sexual repression was necessary. With the rise of the Nazis, Reich fled to the US and published 'The Mass Psychology of Fascism'.
3./ This bestseller claimed both authoritarian regimes and capitalism fed off sexual repression and to liberate ourselves -and be healthy and sane- we needed to have more and better orgasms. The leader of the Paris '68 students, Daniel Cohn-Bendit was a fanatical disciple.

1./ Courage in Action
I'm so proud of Professor Rob Wintemute, a Trustee of @ALLIANCELGB whom a crowd of over 100 student activists just tried to silence today in Montreal. They broke into the hall, chanted and threw flour over him.
What is Rob's crime?
cbc.ca/news/canada/mo…
2./ Rob, a human rights lawyer, had gone to his alma mater, McGill, to explain why gay people felt the need to organise separately from trans people. He's become convinced the two groups have different agendas, which sometimes clash. Women's rights too are being undermined.
3./ He told journalists: I've spent 37 years defending LGB and trans human rights and I'd never associate with any group that "promotes hate." I came to McGill to deliver the message that women have human rights too, but they feel intimidated by trans rights activists."
