#Thread Our Somnath Mandir is about to complete 1000 years since it was first attacked & desecrated by Mahmud Ghazni.
It was rebuilt through the struggles & sacrifices of our forefathers, but not without facing strong opposition from the “visionary” Nehru, who opposed the reconstruction with all his might.
Read what Nehru wrote in his letters to oppose the reconstruction-
1- Letter to Liaquat Ali Khan (PM of Pakistan), 21 April 1951
Nehru wrote to Liaquat Ali Khan, addressed him as “Dear Nawabzada” and downplayed the Somnath reconstruction.
He said the Somnath narrative was “completely false” and reassured Pakistan instead of defending India.
2- Letter to R. R. Diwaker (Minister of Information & Broadcasting), 28 April 1951
Nehru asked him to reduce the media coverage of the consecration ceremony. He called the ceremony “pompous” and said it was harming India’s image in the world.
Throughout 2025, Congress IT cell and its ecosystem tried their best to project Rahul Gandhi as jan-nayak.
But in reality, he is nothing more than a spoiled brat full of arrogance.
Here is a thread exposing his arrogance:
1- During his roadshow, Rahul’s car ran over a policeman.
He did not step out. He did not care.
2- Rahul Gandhi was caught on camera pushing away his own Congress karyakarta.
Imagine being a karyakarta, working on the ground 24x7 for a party despite not winning any elections, and still being treated like this by the nepo crown prince of the party.
3- He did not even have the courtesy to bow in respect after the national anthem, while every other leader did so.
What has he achieved to be this arrogant, when even senior leaders like PM Modi, Draupadi Murmu ji, & even his own party prez Kharge folded their hands in respect?
#Thread 1/ Has the Modi Government “bulldozed demolition” of MGNREGA?
Sonia Gandhi has clearly not read the VB- G RAM G Act and has written an article full of lies and flights of FANCY.
Her first paragraph about widespread consultation behind MGNREGA itself is a farce.
MGNREGA was conceived by National Advisory Council, an unelected executive body which functioned as a SUPER CABINET directing PM of the country on important issues.
So much so that Manmohan Singh was called ‘super cabinet secretary’ under Sonia’s NAC!
2/ Sonia Gandhi then goes on to say that demand-based employment is being destroyed and this will destroy employment gaurantee under MGNREGA.
Truth: Guaranteed employment has been strengthened from 100 days to 125 days.
Legal right to employment remains untouched; only budgeting shifts to a norm-based system which is how all government schemes work!
In FY 2024–25, planned allocations closely matched real demand, proof that planning works.
3/ Sonia Gandhi then claims that MGNREGA remains the central pillar of rural survival and new law will supress wage growth in rural areas
Truth: MNREGA did help alleviate rural distress but has not kept pace with new reality of rural India.
NABARD & MPCE data show 80% households report higher consumption, 42.2% higher incomes, and 58.3% rely only on formal credit.
MNREGA is now a fallback safety net, not rural India’s defining reality.
Did the government really “reject” WHO or global norms on pollution?
No, it did not.
The government said that international city rankings are not official indicators for India.
Why?
Because that is exactly what the WHO itself states about its Air Quality Database! (1/n)
2/ The WHO Air Quality Database clearly says it cannot:
->Draw direct comparisons between countries
->Rank the most polluted cities
Yet the criticism today is based on assuming WHO rankings are meant to be official metrics. They are not. who.int/data/gho/data/…
3/ Then, why does the government maintain its own standards instead of directly adopting WHO values?
Again, because WHO explicitly recommends this. WHO guidelines say countries must consider their unique geography, background pollution levels, climate, and economic conditions before converting guideline values into legal standards. who.int/news-room/feat…
