1)From Axios, showing they are clueless: "Conservative talk splinters in post-Rush era"

2) This piece, citing newer people as more "ideological" implies Rush was a mainstream R. Absolutely wrong.
axios.com/newsletters/ax… #axiosam
2) Rush was a populist/R to the right of Ronald Reagan on issues such as illegal immigration and foreign trade.

3) For a while he was supportive of foreign involvement, but since about 2008 began to sharply qualify that position.

4) The reason there is no voice out there . . .
4) contd . . . who can replace him is that virtually all of them are globalists in the Nick Knack/Yertle/Ru Paul mold. (i.e., Benji)

5) Some of them get the moral issues of life right, but faceplant on trade, immigration, & globalism.
6) Others get some of those right, but flopped on the vaxxes (i.e., even Bannon and Tucker were originally pro-vax.)

7) Many (Buck Sexton, Andrew McCarthy) come from the Deep State. Far too many are ex lawyers (Levin).

8) The only lawyer I've found suspicious of the legal . .… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
8) contd . . . profession court system is Barnes. The commonsense Rushisms about
"They will always tell you who they fear" & "there is no reason to reach across the aisle. These people must be defeated, not "worked with" are totally missing.
9) I think many want to seem "serious" and "sensible" without appreciating the spiritual battle we are involved in.

10) Rush NEVER actually put this fight in spiritual terms---but he always framed it as though it were.
11) In his final five or so years, he lifted his rule of not criticizing Republicans because they had become so onerously filled with snagglegadgetry that they could no longer be tolerated.

12) Moreover, because he VERY rarely had guests (& never during primaries) . . .
12) contd . . . Rush never got caught up as Glenn Beck did supporting one candidate over another (a candidate who would lose).

13) While I think he could have asked harder questions on air of peope like Dick Cheney, he nevertheless subtly ALWAYS alerted them that . . .
13) contd . . . "your policies are NOT playing well in middle America."

14) Rush alone, of ALL the GOP talking heads, refrained from automatically dismissing Trump in 2015. He may not have endorsed HIM, but he clearly said "these are the issues Americans care about."
15) It became obvious by subtraction who was NOT talking about those issues (i.e., every other GOP candidate).

16) Rush always advanced theories I would call cutting edge but not conspiracy-laden. For example, he wrongly said Cankles would not run for office because . . .
16) contd . . . her psyche couldn't tolerate a loss. Well, she didn't lose until 2008, and then she had to hide her resentment cuz it was against the "first black candidate" Zero. (Which of course is a lie---the "Rev." Jesse "Jackh . . . soooon" as Rush pronounced it was 1st.
17) But he was proven right in the aftermath of 2016 when she reportedly went nuts after her defeat.

18) He, like I, didn't think Rutabaga would get out of a primary, let alone cheat his way to the Oval Oriface (as Rush would say).
19) Rush didn't shy from nicknames, and though never nasty (as some of mine can be), they were nevertheless funny and on point. "David Rodham Gergen," for example for his slavish reporting on Cankles.

20) I'm not even getting into his remarkable voice, his sense of humor . . .
20) contd . . . his understanding of and appreciation for rock music prior to losing his hearing; his interest in cultural issues & sports but especially as they did/did not reflect politics.

21) How right-on was he when he said sports was one of the few areas of . . .
21) Contd . . . American life where you can invest everything and have it not mean anything? Of course, the left has polluted sports now in a variety of ways.

22) As much as I miss him, I think Rush knew when to exit stage right. The transoid/racist/demonic world we have . . .
22) contd . . . would probably dampen his sense of humor and shock his sensibilities.

23) As much as he used AM radio to replace WFBuckley, Jr. as the spokesman of conservatism who used the pen and television, I think the "next Rush" will not be of the radio or TV medium.
24) But if I knew where that "it" was,

I'd already be there.

Love ya Rush. You're still "the GOAT."

1) We are clearly under attack. From whom, and why, we don't yet know.
2) There were two more train derailments today. The ChiComs can 3d print train derailers. Yes. That is a thing.
3) Cui bono. Who benefits in different scenarios?
4) Certainly the ChiComs.
5) Would they be so bold? I dunno. These things "could" be easily traced to them.
6) Those of us who were around during al-Qaeda times recall that in fact there were grave concerns about them targeting dams, power stations, and other hard targets.
7) Unlike al-Qaeda, . . .
7) contd . . . though, the ChiComs aren't interested in just raising hell for terror purposes. They genuinely want to strike a serious strategic blow.
8) Would all these things do this? Not on your life. The US has more transport capacity, more river capacity, more rail . . .

Remember Rush Limbaugh's "Undeniable Truths of Life?"

Here are a few of Larry's Undeniable Truths to add to that list:

1) The DemoKKKrat Party was founded for one purpose only--to protect & perpetuate slavery.
2) Any time the FBI shows takes over an investigation from the appropriate agency (i.e., FAA) it is for the purposes of covering up the real crime.

3) Uncontrolled gubment bureaucracies exist because Constitutional authorities do not do their jobs to control them.
4) Initiative, referendum, recall damage the Republican form of government by "democratizing" issues & elections. The Founders would have all opposed.

5) Term limits are not in the Constitution because the Founders expected us to do our jobs as voters.

1) Trump, Vaxiopaths, and anti-Vaxiopaths

We are at a fluid period. There is still a great deal of time for President Trump to begin a walkback. What will that entail if he does or doesn't?

2) Where are we on the vax? It is now entirely reasonable to treat ANY news . . .
2) contd . . . of a young person's death, particularly an athlete, as suspect. Our first response should be skepticism in the direction of a vax.

3) Obviously, the "new anti-vaxiopaths" will treat any death (gunshot wounds and motorcycle accidents) as suspect, and that . . .
3) contd . . . is obviously going too far the other direction.

4) I do not think critics of the vax such as @tracybeanz are anywhere close to this position yet. On the contrary, they are moving us (so far) in the right direction.

1) Holy crap. Dropping like flies.

Paul Johnson was simply, to me, the best historian in the world. He could research vast galaxies of documents and tell a powerful, compelling story.
nytimes.com/2023/01/12/boo…
2) Johnson had a scope that even people such as Stephen Ambrose of David McCullough or David Fischer didn't have.

3) His "Modern Times: A History of the World from the Twenties to the Nineties" is a must read for everyone. EVERYONE.
4) He was my inspiration for writing "A Patriot's History of the Modern World."

5) His "Intellectuals" is a fantastic look at these hypocritical pusguzzlers who try to tell the rest of us how to live.

6) He could be long winded: "Birth of the Modern" is nearly 1000 pp . . .

1) Time for a refresher on Rutabaga & the documents drop.

2) People are suggesting this is the way the DemoKKKrats "get rid of Biteme." Wrong.

3) No one---nobody in the DNC, nobody anywhere---wants the Laughing Hyena Kampuchea Harris as Pres.
4) They will not---cannot---take him out til they remove her.

5) However, they missed their window. The veep must be confirmed by BOTH houses. So prior to a few days ago, they could have put in whomever they wanted. (I maintain they REALLY want Buttplugs).
6) But by not forcing Harris out before the GOP took over, they are pretty much stuck with her barring extreme measures. I don't think they want her out that bad.

7) Which means they are stuck with Rutabaga.

8) Don't forget, the DemoKKKrats just finished restructuring primaries

I have what I think many of you will think is an exciting announcement:

You are probably aware of "A Patriot's History of the United States," one of the top selling history books ever, in its 34th printing and 5th edition.
2) This fifth edition, called the "Fifteenth Anniversary Edition" ends in 2018.

3) Mike Allen & I have been reviewing new historical research & updating for five years.

4) In the next several months we will have, essentially, a "20th Anniversary Edition," updated through 2022.
5) Sentinel, our publisher, doesn't want to put out a physical book. They are happy just letting profits roll in without more expenses.

But history doesn't stop, and especially for educators, homeschoolers, or history buffs, YOU WANT UPDATED HISTORY!
