People left their shops and came out in droves, more like when a town-crier has announced that everyone should come to the market square. They all rushed out to see the Big masquerade @PeterObi storm their market. In fact, he went to all three major areas of Trade Fair.
People who know Trade Fair, will tell you that this a market that largely operates Monday-Friday. It is usually scanty on Saturday, but for @PeterObi to command such turnout on a day 50% of the traders stay at home, it's testament to the huge followership he has garnered.
The people at the market were awestruck seeing @PeterObi . For some of them, it was the first time they were setting eyes on someone they have come to adore. 'What manner of man is this,' they could be wondering to themselves, he was in their market to talk to them.
This is the first part of Trade Fair which PO visited. He went to the other parts as well: Progressives and the Auto Parts. We will get to those places in a bit, but what a crowd on a Saturday afternoon at Trade Fair international market 🙌
Don't know who drew the symbol of love on the front door glass where @PeterObi was sitting. The woman close to that window seems like the first suspect. Anyway, you can't tell how you would react when you see PO in the flesh😂😂
This guy was too happy seeing @PeterObi come to Trade Fair, in fact he caused a scene, sitting by the roadside and blocking PO from accessing the road. Eventually, his friends lifted him up and were cheering him. The way PO's security was looking at him in the 3rd frame 😂😂
Jokes aside, how many presidential candidates can pull up to a major market in Nigeria unannounced? @PeterObi has really raised the game, the streets have got nothing but love for him. The people's choice.
Big ups to these #Obidient kids. They were dressed up by their parents in the @NgLabour regalia to come see @PeterObi . They stood, sat down at some point; in the long run they will understand that their parents are fighting for their future by supporting #PeterObi4President2023
These guys who led the convoy round market, were on another level. In fact their driver would pull a stunt, set the car in motion and allow it to roll by itself, with people applauding them. Call it the Peter Obi effect.
@PeterObi while addressing the first part of Trade Fair that he visited: "I am a trader just like you, so I have come home (to the market) to meet my people," he said.
If a lone voice was a person....this guy shouted himself hoarse, and he was hanging precariously by a car, just to see @PeterObi . People are very passionate about the #Obidient cause
One of the things working for @PeterObi, is the fact that he does not hide. He comes directly to the people, and communicates with them. Not all presidential candidates can be in close proximity with the electorates. He is not even 5meters away from the people.
Back view - we are just one week away from making history, from electing @PeterObi to pioneer the Nigerian ship and steer us to greatness. Will you be a part of history by voting for PO?
