Thunderous crowd, amongst them thousands of supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC,

on Saturday converged on Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, to attend a campaign rally in support of APC’s Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.

Prior to Saturday’s rally, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu had paid a courtesy visit on the Shehu of Borno, Abubakar Umar Garbai Elkanemi, shortly after
Borno State Governor, @ProfZulum, APC vice presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima, and many APC stalwarts received Tinubu at the airport.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed @officialABAT, and his running mate, Senator @KashimSM Shettima stormed the city on their Presidential campaign rally.

The campaign train visited the Palace of Shehu of Borno, HRH Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai and paid him homage before moving to the El-kanemi Warriors stadium where the campaign rally was held amidst massive enthusiastic support.

In Bama: Zulum unveils 3 projects; gives business owners’ ₦100m

@ProfZulum was in Bama town on Friday to unveil three capital projects one of which was constructed by the member representing Bama, Ngala and Kala-Balge at the House of Representatives, Dr Zainab Gimba.

Zulum opened Bama Central Mosque, a government lodge, and a skill acquisition centre which was built by Dr Zainab Gimba.

The governor alongside the Shehus of Bama and Dikwa, emirs of Gwoza and Askira, took part at the first post-commissioning juma’at service.

Thousands of indigenes of Bama including elders and community leaders, members of the business community, religious leaders, politicians and other stakeholders also attended the juma’at prayers.

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has declared that the people of the state will vote for a presidential candidate whose election will promote equity, justice

and unity of Nigeria.

The governor spoke on Thursday when he received All Progressives Congress Presidential Candidate, Asíwájú Bola Tinubu, who paid a courtesy call on him on the sidelines of the party's campaign rally in Ibadan, the state capital.

He urged Tinubu to feel free to campaign in the state, saying everything has been done to ensure the event is peaceful and hitch free.

He said his administration believes in putting people first, stating that "political players will come and go, but the country will remain."
