Liquidity is not coming for sometime now; with Ukraine war likely to protract for years we must accustom ourselves for prolonged period of elevated rates. 2023 is that year where many stocks will correct & is perfect time to accumulate them in systematic manner.
The world economy has been through triple destruction
1) Trade with China where tariffs on Chinese goods brought Inflation on American consumer & Trump Tax cuts further added to inflation which came with a lag;
3) Ukraine War which lead to commodities war by Russia in response to weaponisation of Dollar by the west and all these events disrupted supply chains for good time to come.
And there is no going back to old status quo where Russia underwrites cheap Energy/Commodity supply to Europe and China produces ultra cheap products for American consumers.
Thus this Inflation is structural and not transitionary. Central Bank Rate Hikes wont work.
Trade Wars always lead to Military Wars as i have detailed in my book #TheGreatReset ! As this decades unfolds we will head towards The Next Great War in 2030s.
Thus you action in market & stock picking has to be impeccable at right time & price of entry after studying business
Anyone who assured you a mega Bull Run in 2024-25 or an impending crash is fooling you. Geo Politics will dictate Geo Economics and Fed Hikes, Bond Yield wont be that significant in the play.
So be cautious in investing but be alert to pickup good opportunities that come way.
When rates are high every credit lending gets difficult for many businesses. Big Conglomerates can still sustain the impact the small ones wont be able to. Be alive to that situation as well. Bigger the moat or monopoly better are your chances to get a multi-bagger.

FTSE Russell, the global index service provider added 10 Indian listed companies to its Global large-cap index. IDBI, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Patanjali were added to the FTSE global index, which is widely tracked by foreign portfolio investors (FPIs).
There was fear that FTSE Russell would take action on the Adani Group stocks in its indices since after the Hindenburg report the index provider had announced that it was monitoring the stocks.

Calls by Adani himself, followed by Singh and his team, to IHC chair Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed al-Nahyan and chief executive Syed Basar Shueb assuaged their apprehensions.
Sources in the know said IHC is also likely to have participated in the anchor book via a “passive route, but unlike Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, was still evaluating taking any direct exposure.

US national security adviser Jake Sullivan and his Indian counterpart Ajit Doval met in Washington on Tuesday as the two countries unveiled co-operation in a number of areas, including quantum computing, artificial intelligence, 5G wireless networks and semiconductors.

📍Hindenburg says Adani Group companies have shell companies in Mauritius managed by brother of Gautam Adani i.e. Vinod Adani who pumps in money & manupilates stock market prices
📍Shareholding of many Adani Group shows many of these companies listed as FIIs registered in Mauritius. MSCI index has already sought explanation from Adani Group on these disclosures. The same can be checked on Screener.
📍Adani Group Companies have high promoter holdings & in many companies these holdings are pledged. There is hardly any free float of shares and thus stocks are managed like rigged casinos.
Will Adani sink the answer is NO coz the Government, Regulator all will bail him out or go slow on investigations. Further loans will also be issued till BJP is in power. These are known facts. However small retail investors should be cautious in investing based on fundamentals.
A good long term investor should invest in companies with
1) Good Promoter Pedigree 2) Free Cash Flows 3) Deleveraged balance sheets 4) Good ROE & ROCE 5) Available at reasonable valuations 6) Regular compounding of profits
Even i was lured into making a quick buck in Adani Shares; but realising all the relatively known facts about the group i chose to exit and invest in fundamentally strong companies which have given good returns. Speaking as a long term investor; not as a trader or shorter.
