"I was like can I be a baddie please?" Jodie asked Chris while doing Broadchurch press after he'd been announced... and then he told her he was going to be doing the first female Doctor! #gally1

"You're rubbing your belly and patting your head while saying, with the utmost respect, complete gobbledygook!" Jodie on playing the Doctor for the audition #gally1

"There was going to be a number of people furious that I hadn't told them, including my family!" #gally1

"[Chris] already knew my process which is I whatsapp. I should be the face of whatsapp!"

"A lot of it is, what is that. Is that a thing? Or is that my thing?" #gally1

"Music... I mean, we didn't bond with Brad over music, every time he put something on it sounded like we were in an elevator."

"I wouldn't change a thing about Mandip except her taste in food!"

When finding eyelines, Brad would be joking like "boring", Mandip would be zoned out playing with her hair (great impression from Jodie), and Tosin would be complaining nobody was listening to him and they'd been doing the scene a while.

Jodie is particularly into dystopian apocalypse books. She also says "I am really into American classics."

She then launched into an AMAZING speech about the power of words and how we're never done finding new, wonderful things I couldn't write down fast enough.

"The thing I'm really good at is monologuing... weirdly that sometimes that ends up being a really really creative thing!" She then loves when she can find a really creative person to take those words she says and make them into something meaningful and be part of that process.

"Sometimes people are like, 'you couldn't play that part.' Yes I could!" Jodie on whether she can be typecast #gally1

"I met Juno, the writer, she's incredible, and Charlie, the lead in it, she's incredible." Jodie on Redacted #gally1

"Oh my God, what if I've forgotten how to do it!" Jodie returning to do Redacted. #gally1

She realized quickly she still had it. "It's always there, I can pull it out at parties, it's always there!"

"What I always liked about working with Chris is he loves an ensemble... an opportunity for so many different energies and elements!" Jodie at #gally1

"What interests me is not limiting myself to thinking I can only play this!" Says Jodie. Playing the Doctor really opened her mind up to what she could do.

"Is this a Twitter thing?" Jodie when she first heard about Thasmin. "Keeps being sent to me. Have I missed summat?" #gally1

"It was absolutely the natural progression of the way the Doctor and Yaz had journeyed together. Particularly our scenes at the end of The Power of the Doctor, it was so emotional to shoot!" Jodie on Thasmin #gally1

"To have that simplicity and truth was really beautiful." Jodie on her final scenes with Mandip after all the bombastic action #gally1

"Ha ha you're carrying two." Quotes Jodie on her pregnancy in the bridal carry scene.

Quoting Mandip:
"You do eat a lot at the moment and we've got that scene where I have to carry ya!" #gally1

"They smashed the technical after about two or three takes so I only did a really short amount..." regeneration filming was over quicker than Jodie expected with all the technical crane stuff. "That's a wrap." "I'm done. Oh my God what have I done, I'm done!" #gally1

"And then you're just in this really weird anticlimactic thing, but the beauty is the show hasn't come out yet... so I really dragged it out!" Jodie after wrap #gally1

On Jodie Whittaker's takeaways from time on Who: "There's literal takeaways from all the things I stole."

On wrapping on Power, Aldred says she thought "I don't want to go!" So she asked to stay and ended up reading in for all the Doctors filming the Guardians scene! #gally1

"You're always the audience, even if you're in it!" Says Jodie, because you never really get to see how good it'll look when it's done. "You're always a fan."

The TARDIS landing in Graham's flat, Jodie says cracking up, was "two guys with a leafblower!" #gally1
