A long thread on Sanji’s connection to Asmodeus and the possible awakening of his full power 🧵

This thread dives off the deep end a lil but I think it’s very interesting to think about.

This is all speculation and i’m not claiming any of this as fact, so don’t come at me 😂

First let’s talk about Asmodeus.

Asmodeus is known as the prince of demons and hell (also known as the King of daemons and demons in Judeo-Islamic lore).

Asmodeus is an evil spirit that represents lust. In the Book of Tobit, he punished Sarah’s suitors for their carnal desire.

How does this relate to Sanji? A few main ways.

1. Sanji’s connection to demons

2. Sanji’s connection to Lust and Passion

3. Sanji’s consistent prince-related epithets

1. Sanji’s connection to demons.

Sanji has always been associated with both demons and flames.

This is emphasized in Enies Lobby when he developed “Diable Jambe”, a flaming technique that he named “Devil’s leg”.

This is taken one step further in Wano when Sanji develops Ifrit Jambe, a blue flame technique named after an Ifrit. An Ifrit is a powerful type of demon in Islamic mythology.

It’s evident that demons are a recurring theme in Sanji’s development..

2. Sanji’s connection to Lust and Passion.

We’re all familiar with Sanji’s perverted gags. Lust and passion has been a part of Sanji ever since his introduction.

These gags range from poetic flirting to feral obsession. Regardless they all point to his lust and extreme passion

In the Book of Tobit, like I mentioned earlier, Asmodeus punished Sarah’s suitors for their carnal desire. Their lust.

He does this even though he himself represents Lust.. very similar to Sanji

In Thriller Bark, when Usopp informs Sanji that Absolom assaulted Nami in the shower, Sanji got really pissed off

He “punished” Absolom for his carnal desire by defeating him.

Absolom also intended to MARRY Nami. This fits Asmodeus’ suitor-killing myth perfectly!

3. Sanji’s princely epithets.

Sanji has been referred to as a prince since Alabasta with his epithet “Mr. Prince”.

In retrospect, this was obvious foreshadowing for Sanji’s reveal as an ACTUAL prince of the Germa kingdom.

Prince Vinsmoke Sanji.

So Sanji is a prince, has demon related techniques, and has connections to lust and passion.

What does this mean for his future? I believe Sanji will tap into the powers imbedded in his soul. The reason why his passion is SO strong.

The powers of demon prince Asmodeus.

I believe Sanji’s Asmodeus connection reveal started in Alabasta and is part of a 3 part development.

His prince foreshadowing and his flame progression will be completed at the same time. Here’s my timeline 👇

🟡 Alabasta • Sanji takes the alias “Mr. Prince”

🔴 Enies Lobby • Sanji unlocks Diable Jambe

🟡 WCI • Sanji is revealed to be a real prince of the Germa kingdom

🔴 Wano • Sanji unlocks Ifrit Jambe

I think the third stage of both of these developments will occur at the same time.

Sanji will call himself the Prince of Demons and develop his final jambe technique, Asmodeus Jambe, unlocking black flame 🔥

I know Sanji getting CoC is widely disagreed upon. But if this were to happen, it would be the PERFECT opportunity to have Sanji unlock Conquerors.

Ifrit Jambe was possible using Sanji’s CoA. Asmodeus Jambe, Prince of Demons style, could be activated using his new ACoC.

I think Sanji having the soul of Asmodeus or something would be an epic peak to his development as a prince and a user of devil’s flames.

This theory is a lil wild but keep an open mind lmk what y’all think 😈
