Now see air quality on 14+hr flight. Finally broke down and bought the CO2 monitor used by air quality experts I follow. It indicates how much of the breath of others you are inhaling. So if there is COVID on board a plane (which is inevitable) it shows your risk of inhaling it.
So much for airlines claiming fresh air changes every 2 minutes.
NEVER, on entire flight in United Polaris (1st/Business-purchased specifically for lower number of exhaling humans) was the reading in the green zone indicating safe. Instead it was yellow.
NOTE RED peaks- 1st: Polaris bathroom (during pandemic I dubbed “death closet”). 2nd peak: when I walked through economy section (no trip to the DC there); 3rd: when air turned off upon arrival at the gate; 4th when we bunched up to deplane. And there was a steady rise overall.
WHERE ARE THE GUARDIANS OF OUR WELLBEING? Of course we were masked but no mask is 100% protective especially when few others are masked.
Let those who whine about the “nanny state” choke on this sludge!!!
