At a Senate hearing just about 3 weeks ago, Gabriel Escobar, the U.S. special envoy for the Western Balkans, argued Russia was playing a spoiler role "against Serbia's strategic goal of European integration - which the Serbian people strongly desire, and we strongly support." ...
That was half right and half wrong. Yes, the Serbian people desire European integration, but that is NOT the "strategic goal" of Serbia's leader Vučič. (He is in Russia's camp.) Recently, however, the U.S. have zeroed in unilaterally on Kurti's Kosovo ... rferl.org/amp/us-western…
